So far man enjoys washing his hair with this because he keep his hair braided and it’s the summer time. Since using this product he said his hair hasn’t been itching nor feeling/smelling dirty. He hasn’t seen much clacking or dandruff because he doesn’t even scratch his hair/scalp. It makes his hair feel really clean and he likes the breezy feeling he gets after each wash. The smell is okay to me but he likes it. I haven’t used it yet because I have knot-less box braids BUT as soon as I do, I will be posting another review. He didn’t have to use much product in his hair at all and it lathers up pretty good. I went to the PK webinar with John Lewis and the speakers discussed holistic health and a good routine for your hair. Since taking that advice and using this product and the scalp mask, the extreme itching (sometimes burning) has stopped and my hair and scalp seem healthy and comfortable. I’ve probably tried most items on the market for dry flaky scalp and some are terrible and some are just ok, then i found this! It’s like magic! I have coloured hair but have my whole life suffered with dry and flaky scalp, i can get some good stuff prescribed from the doctors but it’s a hassle as i have to apply at night and wash out in the morning, meaning I’m washing my hair daily. I received this product in CURLBOX and it's AMAZING! I have very coily, dry, thin strands. I used this product because I have achy sensitive scalp. I used it only my scalp, pulled it threw my hair, and twisted it up for the night. My scalp felt soothed, refreshed and my hair was so soft! The tingling feeling is intense and soothing but not over powering. I'm actually looking forward to wash day to use the entire line.
I used to mix essential oils all the time to soothe my scalp but I'm so glad someone combined them all together and made a serum which has a creamier consistency. My scalp was soothed INSTANTLY! and I felt the tingling and soothing sensation from the menthol and peppermint all night until I woke up for work in the morning! I'm so glad this company is a black owned business AND the products are gluten free! As a black woman who's allergic to wheat it's hard to find products that avoid that while still addressing my hair and scalp needs. I bought this at my local CVS last night along with the growth serum as well. I will come back and review that later as I am using it to grow back a recent alopecia spot of my own. But this product made such a great 1st impression. I'm begging the company to never change their ingredients or to sell their company because they definitely UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT! I'm a licensed cosmetologist so once I find something that works great I always put my clients on to it as well. I can't wait to buy more and see what other products they come out with in the future. P.S. They also get extra brownie points for not using coconut oil which is in almost every natural hair product. Not everybody's hair or body agrees with coconut oil, milk, water, etc and I'm glad they used organic ingredients different than every other natural hair company.

This product is the bomb! I use it as a hair mask on my ends, I run it through my midlengths to ends and then use the leftover on my hands to smooth over the roots and front hairline. I also use it to smooth my edges for pony tails and high buns. It is greasy but nice to work with. The smell is amazing! It does take some major shampooing to remove and leaves my hair slightly heavy, but helps with any fly always and frizz. I usually just curl my hair the day after and it’s nice and shiny.casey.r
