If you are an everyday wig wearer like I am, then I would not recommend this wig. I wanted to try it because I'd heard that it was similar to Angelica by Noriko but at a lower price point. I also wanted a basic cap/non lace front wig as an alternative to my more expensive Jon Renau wigs. First, let me say that I waited about a week after wearing this wig before writing this review. I ordered the color-walnut brown, which is a really nice warm brunette color with a hint of dark auburn (not highlights but blended together). The length is lovely, and the front doesn't fall on the face as much as the Angelica wigs do. It was nice and soft when I took it out of the box, but after 2 days of daily wear, it started to get really dry and scratchy as if I had been wearing it for months. Keep in mind, I only wear long wigs, so I am aware of all the extra care needed in order to make them last and to keep them in their best shape. A heavy amount of conditioning spray did get the wig feeling softer, but that only lasted a day and then it went right back to being scratchy. I even tried the Silicone spray, but that didn't help either. Also, after the 3rd day of wear, the permatease started to bunch up, making it so that the wig look really awkward on my head.Katherine C.
I ordered this again, as I loved the first one, in silky sand. I just send back second one, with photos, to show how defective it was, requesting postage refund too. It stuck up at the top, like a crew cut, brown roots. Hideous. Not like my first one. Customer service lady ,who SAW the photos, said it was supposed to be like that, to look natural. It was hideous! Defective. They did NOT reimburse me postage, for this very defective product. I am contacting BBB, and NEVER buying from this disreputable company ever again. The wig is most certainly not actual human hair. It did have a nice wave pattern, but after I messed with it a little, I decided to straighten it. Now the wig look bare and I feel like the lace would definitely show at the back if slight wind or sunlight touched it. Most of the volume obviously came from the poofy-ness of the waves.Tiffani

I would like to first thank the company for shipping my order in a timely manner; I ordered the wig on a Monday and received it by Thursday. I needed this wig by Saturday for a wedding. This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT
Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. I really like this wig. The human hair does not irritate my skin like the synthetic does. This wig is very comfortable and easy to wear. The only thing about it is that it tends to bunch up a big at the top. I have to make sure that it's pulled down in the back. Maybe it just needs adjusting. I'm not sure. Other than that, this is a great wig at a great price!!! I highly recommend it.Tiandra A.
