I love Kristen FS26/31S6. It is my go to wig. I have my bio hair but due to Chronic illness, it wears me out to fix it. Bio hair is also very very thin on top now. I would give her 5 stars… however for me, the lace does irritate the skin after a couple hours. I am a redhead with very sensitive skin. Also, I have ordered several of this same wig, and they all have a little variance to them. I have learned how wigs are made and why that is. It is not a machine producing exact replicas. So, I fuss with them until they fit right. I'm sad to see the price going up on everything. I just bought a darker color Kristen for the first time . It has less Blonde for winter. I hope I like it.Amanda

Omg.. how come I did not know about this website?! I wasted hundreds of dollars over cheap wigs from nearby stores to my house😖 After finding out about this online store a couple weeks ago, I finally decided to give it a try… although pricey, but tbh- these wigs hold their value at that price. You can barely tell it’s a wig! It looks super natural! It’s super soft! I just love it like a pet! 😂 One downside I would say is that it’s very sensitive to heat… I wore it the first day, and I was baking some goodies… and I opened the oven up and hot air swooshed in my face and I heard my poor new wig crunch! Yes it’s my fault- but it makes me wonder how long it can stay before drying up and becoming a complete bird’s nest when worn on hot summer days. Over all- I’d give it 4.5 stars… reason being is because it’s too sensitive to heat.Noor

I own many Kristens in different colors. Really a great style and comfortable cap. I had a really hard time debating on Kristen and Jamison and now that I have both I must say I much prefer Kristen. The face framing layers are great on my round face. I am sure the permatease is mentioned in many reviews and yes it's there but it's not bad. Rather than trying to press it down if you use a wide tooth comb to lift the hair up you won't really see it. Also before you started wearing wigs how often did you go around inspecting the crowns of stangers heads? When I wear shadded peach I always get compliments on the color and no one ever believes it's a wigJ

I think having different wigs are a fun and easy way to boost your self confidence or save time on a bad hair day. I bought this one from an Amazon seller about 2 years ago and considering it is synthetic and not a lace-front, I was surprised I was able to wear it out of the package, without a hat and people asked me who styled my hair! I did use some creative Bobby pins but for reference I only have a really bad picture of myself so please don't be harsh on the ridiculous face I'm making and take a look at the hair…remember this was before styling it or trimming….becky.e

I love how the bangs are the right length and all the colors available are so pretty. The yaki texture is so natural looking. Hair touching neck does get tangled, but easy to detangle. Definitely recommend this wig if you’re into this style.Dee P.

When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.

I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

The most natural looking wig I have ever purchased. A friend who knows I wear wigs, asked if she was seeing my bio hair. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. Center Stage has the most natural looking 'part' and believable density. I currently have this in 2 different but similar colors. I am shocked to see negative reviews. All it takes is a little patience with water, spray and/or gel to fool even a best friend. I don't want to forget to rate the comfort level-also deserves 5 stars.NBS

The wig was okay, a little too big for my daughters head. Did not have any adjustable straps, but I have it sewn and pinned by a seamstress. Good wig for a costume party or Halloween party, not so good for performing.120676

I sent back for several different reasons for an exchange. It was to blonde and didn’t have the beautiful red color popping out that I loved, so I sent back to get a different color. The top was to flat and didn’t look like it was made right (the parting in the middle) I couldn’t get it to flip over to the other side since I assumed I should have been able to do. It wasn’t cut as shown in the picture. One side in the front as well as the back was way longer than the other side. So now waiting and hoping that the next one is better since I loved the feel and thickness of it. I have baby fine thin hair and After chemo, well I don’t have much to lose to begin with.Sebrena

I was excited to get my first “human hair” wig in hopes that it would last longer than my others. I was disappointed in how thin the wig was and despite multiple attempts to shake it out, it never framed my face like it does in the model picture. It consistently went to a “middle” part and laid very flat on my head. Disappointed to say the least!Kathy

I loved the look of this wig esp human hair. It looked nice on the model but It didn’t flatter me at all. I truly was searching for a wig with human hair that I could wear and look natural sorry this is not the one. I will continue looking until I find one that works. Thank youEileen

Sorry for the long post. This wig is really nice and the hair with the rooted color looks just like real hair. I got the pecan delight rooted, it’s a dark brown root color with medium/light golden brown hair with some subtle golden blonde highlights blended in. Very close match to my real hair. Warning I did purchase another wig in pecan delight without the rooting and it just comes off too light, like a very light golden brown. Without the rooting I would go to the next shade darker or maybe even two. I did have two issues with the wig. They won’t stop me from buying another one. The first is that the wig I got was longer in length by a few inches and bulkier, a lot more hair, than in the photos. I did have to give the wig a trim and I did thin it out with thinning shears and it’s perfect. The second issue, which I know I played a huge contributing factor too, is that after fixing the wig to my liking, the ends are already dried out and frizzy. I did get rid of about 75% of that appearance out of the wig. I gently hand washed it and pat dried it just little so it wasn’t soaking wet. Gently combed it out with a wide toothed combed. Starting at the ends, I applied It’s a 10 leave in conditioner with a couple drops of a silicone based heat protection. I then lightly sprayed the wig with a coconut oil heat protectant spray. Gently combed through again and air dried it overnight on the open wire wig stand. I was amazed at the difference and it is holding up nicely.Debra

I wanted to love this wig but the only thing I did love was the color, Buttered Toast. I had searched for a mid length wavy wig and thot I had found it but sadly I just couldn’t get it to work. The back has tight curls but the sides were looser and the left side bangs were so long that I couldn’t do anything with it . I finally did clip it back but it just didn’t look right. I wish I hadn’t cut the tags off so that I could return it, but guess I’m stuck with it. Hopefully, I’ll figure out a way to fix the long bang, perhaps my hairdresser can help.Jeanne

The wig is soft and of reasonable quality. It doesn't itch and it stayed on all night. It moves a little when you dance so beware to use some hair clips to hold in place.rhakira2008

Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. Sorry PY but your wigs need to be lighter weight, lay nicer, (some of us like a bit flatter style) far less perma tease or fluff, easier to wear right out of the box…Thanks anyway…Juanita

I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. The style does not resemble the picture at all !Eve

It was a little extra poofy on the top so I did the hot water trick on it that I usually do and I trimmed it up a little bit the length in the back is very nice the color is very nice I usually wear it with a skull cap I put clips in the front and the back and I wear it on my motorcycle and it looks like I have long hair I don't like the cap though I wish it had ear tabsjalin-214

After I received my order it was apparent that the color was just not a good one for me. I had ordered two wigs, both the same color and found that in person they were just very fake and not a natural look at all. I sent them back and then after reading the instruction found that over half the amount I paid for them was to be deducted due to the various charges they put on returns. I am very upset at this change in policy and cannot see myself using Paula Young Wigs in the future. I have been a faithful customer for over 15 years, so sorry, not anymore.Carol

A few months ago, I ordered the "Alex" wig. I love it! I ordered a second one so that I would always have it ready. While the first one was – and stil is – perfect, the second one is straggly and sloppy looking. When I first took it out of the box and followed directions (shaking, etc,) it looked ok. I put it aside til I could get a styrofoam head. Once I put it on that, it showed itself. I cannot wear it. I have not worn it. Unfortunately, I did take the tag off when I thought it was going to be ok. Please take it back and send me one that looks like the first one.Rosemary

I received the wig in a couple of weeks of ordering..I tried it on but it kept slipping off my head. The velcro tapes were set to the tightest setting. I took the wig to my hairdresser thinking it should be cut as the style was so weird.. She told me to wash it first in fairly hot water so some of the crushing from shipping would come out.. Seriously after wearing it for 30 seconds it looked like I was a cone head!! The inside just above the bangs there is a circle of heavy knit capping.. Not the stretch lace like the rest of the wig liner is made from…This is advertised as a whisper lite wig?…My head dripped with sweat in a few minutes as it just does not breathe the same as my other wigs? My hairdresser suggested it not be cut but to somehow get it made smaller. I have Alopecia so have bought and worn wigs for some years. I have always had wigs come with a stretchy lace type liner with metal adjustable clips on the elastic straps. I live in Canada so not an option to return the wig with the high postage, tax paid and the exchange rate…. So I bought some crazy glue to cinch up the elastic tapes making them shorter.. that was a total mess as the glue did not adhere the same as my other many wigs have done when the elastic stretched out.. I then pinched the material together to sew it on each side to tighten to fit my head.. I have always worn an average size wig… This one with that hard thick cone or dome inside was something else!!! Why did I take the added expense of a hairdresser as well as buying the glue?? The color of the wig and the style now that I have the cap fitting properly suits me to no end!! I look stunning in it and it looks like my own hair. My hairdresser says it does not look at all like a wig….So I made all of these compromises! I suggest that they make this Wig in all sizes so we don't have to glue or sew our fingers trying to make them smaller than Average. I suggest that the Deluxe Soft Touch Grip be sold in a smaller size as wellBrenda

Well, I finally learned my lesson. I cannot purchase clearance items any longer since every time I have, there has been something either wrong with the wig (manufacturing) or something I didn't like and there are no returns. There wasn't anything wrong with this piece. She just had way too much hair and the fibers were so dry they were like straw. It is a beautiful warm color but the density, the permatease and the dry fibers made this difficult to pull off. I thinned it out and tried to tame the permatease but it just didn't work. Plus, the fibers were like doll hair and so that was a dead giveaway. This was the third JR piece and all have pretty dry fibers. Is this normal? I am a first time buyer, trying to figure out what fits and how to wear the wigs. I ordered 3 wigs in this first order, and two of them I can adjust and work with. But "Gwen" has very short hair and it looks nothing like the pictures! I had it on my head for a few seconds and couldn't stand the very short hair with no shape at all. It looked like a hedgehog, The color is nice, but this wig is too small, too short hair for my plus size figure: Gwen Wig by Jon Renau STRAWBERRY BLONDE AND WARM PLATINUM BLONDE BLENDED & TIPPED W STRAWBERRY BLONDE NAPE (27T613F). In all fairness, I only had it on my head a few seconds and took it off right away, I didn't try to make it look better, afraid to ruin the chance for return. It might be ok for someone else, but at 62 yrs old and plus size figure, that little wig was not even funny! I filled out the return label for "Gwen" but keeping the other two, with medium length hair: "Blushing Beauty" Wig by Gabor | Mono Part GL16/27 and the "Salsa" Wig by Raquel Welch | Large Cap R14/88H Golden Wheat. Those two are a bit large and I need to learn to adjust the tabs in the back, and I also need to figure out from the videos how to "style" them with my fingers so they look good for me. But looking forward to enjoying those two.Carmen

This is a cute summer wig for someone who doesn't want permatese. It's low density. I got 22F16 there is not enough dimension for me but I do feel someone looking for a well made no permatese, low density piece would be very happy with it. I did have lots of thick hair & I like some poof on top.I was going to give it away but it is growing on me using dry shampoo,piece out & hair spray. Even tho it's symmetrical you can achieve a asymmetrical look with some tucking. I have noticed many reviews/comments on various pieces that I feel expectations are often unrealistic. Let's face it we all don't look like the beautiful ladies,Eileen,Marlen or Taz much less the models. I have found often if I think I don't like something if I change my makeup,color I'm wearing wait a few days,wear it around the house,often one I thought I would send back grows on me. Also often they just need a bit of tweaking with a small trim here & there to make it my own. I imagine very few can just take most of them out of the box with INSTANT SUCCESS ! Even I expected it at 1st & being a Master Stylist (retired) should have known better. I guess what I'm trying to say to all those who are new like me is to be patient.S N.

Did not like the dry coarse Joni human hair wig. I would have sent it back but because of Corona slow down of getting to post office & everything Else I decided to Keep it and pass it forward to someone who can perhaps work with making it look less coarse in appearance. When I first saw the wig, I thought they sent the wrong one because it looked NOTHING like the picture. The only ""waves"" or ""curls"" are at the very bottom back. The rest looks like an afro. I tried to straighten and it only frizzed up, never went smooth like in the picture. I ""spritzed"" some water on it and it did not go wavy, it looks like an untamed afro. I was hoping for a casual style by day and smooth for dress up but this just looks AWFUL!Meadow

I have been buying wigs for about 40 years and many from Especially yours. This is the first time I have ever been this disappointed. This without a doubt is the worst wig to ever arrive at my doorstep. However, I can't return it because I cut out the inside tags, so confident that I would like it, because I have never had to return a wig before…My bad. The wig didn't fit and looked like it had been cut in all the wrong places, just terrible, looked nothing like the ad. So the color of this piece is really nice. Blends well with my natural hair. However, even after having it cut and styled to blend with my bio hair, it doesn’t lay right. There are lumps and you can see where the topper starts even after blending with my hairline. The clips are not comfortable; I have several other toppers by other brands and they don’t pinch like this topper does. There also isn’t a whole lot of hair, especially in the back. It all wants to fall forward toward the face, which means It ends up being pulled back. I probably would not purchase this particular topper again in the future.Andrea Q.
