When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. The Jessica by Jon Renau is a beautiful wig. She is light weight, long in length, has soft wavy bouncy layers. Jessica also has bangs, which I love, and it is getting difficult to find a wig with features I look good in. I chose the color Raspberry Syrup and was not disappointed! I typically wear blonde shades as that is closest to my hair color. I took a chance on this one but was very pleased with how the color Raspberry Syrup looks on me. Well, I finally learned my lesson. I cannot purchase clearance items any longer since every time I have, there has been something either wrong with the wig (manufacturing) or something I didn't like and there are no returns. There wasn't anything wrong with this piece. She just had way too much hair and the fibers were so dry they were like straw. It is a beautiful warm color but the density, the permatease and the dry fibers made this difficult to pull off. I thinned it out and tried to tame the permatease but it just didn't work. Plus, the fibers were like doll hair and so that was a dead giveaway. This was the third JR piece and all have pretty dry fibers. Is this normal? I am a first time buyer, trying to figure out what fits and how to wear the wigs. I ordered 3 wigs in this first order, and two of them I can adjust and work with. But "Gwen" has very short hair and it looks nothing like the pictures! I had it on my head for a few seconds and couldn't stand the very short hair with no shape at all. This is a cute summer wig for someone who doesn't want permatese. It's low density. I got 22F16 there is not enough dimension for me but I do feel someone looking for a well made no permatese, low density piece would be very happy with it. I did have lots of thick hair & I like some poof on top.I was going to give it away but it is growing on me using dry shampoo,piece out & hair spray. Doesn't look much like stock photo, needs customizing. Fringe falls in face, and appears longer on me, I'm sm/average. Love the color-toasted almond, decided to keep and trim the fringe, will also steam to keep back a little from face. Love how the hair moves, also medium density. Most sites say "mono top", it is a MONO PART. It is in the detailed description, but I missed it. It's still a good cap, but is larger than previous envys. I have as bought many envys the past 2-3 years, and have seen the decline in quality. The caps are getting roomier at the top, and the hair type varies widely in the same style according to the season it's manufactured . Overall, after some work, it will be good!cat n.
I'm not sure why the first reviewer gave this five stars if she hated it! This one is just okay – the cap is very comfortable, as is the lace front. The hair quality, however, isn't as soft as many other brands – to me the Envy fibers feel coarse, compared to Noriko, which I should have known from the sample ring I have. I chose Toasted Sesame, which is okay but not great. The back sticks out at the nape, which I don't like. Years ago Alan Eaton had some very nice, realistic and soft fibers. Not now. I'm not going to buy this brand again.Sue
