It made a huge difference in my decision to give another wig a try and to keep looking until I find the right one! Beautiful is the compliments I get when I wear this one!! It's one of my favorites. I am hooked on the Jaclyn Smith wigs because they are so much more softer feeling than any of the whisperlite wigs. This one has a ton of hair on which made it feel heavier. But once I took a pair of thinning shears to it, it felt so much lighter yet still have that fullness to it. It's a very nice wig. And from now on I will only buy the Jaclyn Smith brand. Until I win the lottery anyways lol. I just ordered my 1st human hair wig, but not from here. They are more expensive here. Thanks to the experienced experts on YouTube, I am Learning more and more about wigs, on how to's of washing them to keeping them kept in sealed bags to thinning them out. I ain't rich and I don't have a hair stylist near me who is willing to cut them , so I have to learn how to take care of them by those ladies on YouTube who have years and years of experience and don't mind sharing their advice (free of charge) to newbies like me. If anything, I am a very honest opionated person. If you can't handle the truth on my reviews on these wigs I buy, then don't ask 😏🙄😲Valerie

Have bought 10 wigs now, to hold me while my hair (hopefully) grows back after a crash diet and stress. This is probably my least favorite, and that includes cheapies on Amazon that pleasantly surprised me. My head is small, between petite and average, but I always wear average. Head is short, so wigs always look longer on my than in the pic. This one, oddly enough, it toooo tight. it pulls up drastically in the back, with or without a wig cap, and pulls on my ear. (If I don't pull it over the ears, it's poofy, like it's just sitting on top of my head and about to fall off.) It's off on one side so that it pulls up on that side more. Yes, the bangs are too thick — the whole wig's too thick. Had to do my best to thin out from underneath (live rural, without stylists around), which, of course, considering the material, left tiny hairs sticking up, although I tried to just thin the bottom layers. Actually, little hairs stand up on it from brushing against the back of a chair or just from wearing. Constantly have to clip them off. The color is carrot red, and with this long and loose style and thickness, it's more obvious than in other styles. I expected reddish brown, but this is almost strawberry. So all in all, I'm happier with my others. This is wearable, but I stopped thinning without doing the bangs (bad enough having those little hairs all over elsewhere), and the top still looks ""wig-poofy."" When I run my hands over it, it feels rough, from all the little hairs. Plus, had to completely undo the tabs to make it stay down…and the tabs had tons of hair stuck to them and coming through the web to the outside that was impossible to pull out and correct, so had to just cut it so it wouldn't keep getting stuck to the Velcro. More acceptable if it was a $49 dollar one, but esp not for $79. Have had better luck with others, so will be ordering again, a different style (not J.S. With all the clipping of little hairs sticking up, this one may not last long!Vladdy

I am new to wig wearing. Thin hair and menopause has been a thing for me . I’m 57 and don’t mind aging . But hair for women it’s kinda a big deal- hence my wig journey begins with Paula young. Sunset fits nice. I wear a wig band for security. I love love love this silver color . It blends nice from dark to light. The bangs need tweaking so I’m trying. I’ve already purchased this same style in another color.Sherry

I love Kristen FS26/31S6. It is my go to wig. I have my bio hair but due to Chronic illness, it wears me out to fix it. Bio hair is also very very thin on top now. I would give her 5 stars… however for me, the lace does irritate the skin after a couple hours. I am a redhead with very sensitive skin. Also, I have ordered several of this same wig, and they all have a little variance to them. I have learned how wigs are made and why that is. It is not a machine producing exact replicas. So, I fuss with them until they fit right. I'm sad to see the price going up on everything. I just bought a darker color Kristen for the first time . It has less Blonde for winter. Omg.. how come I did not know about this website?! I wasted hundreds of dollars over cheap wigs from nearby stores to my house😖 After finding out about this online store a couple weeks ago, I finally decided to give it a try… although pricey, but tbh- these wigs hold their value at that price. You can barely tell it’s a wig! It looks super natural! It’s super soft! I just love it like a pet! 😂 One downside I would say is that it’s very sensitive to heat… I wore it the first day, and I was baking some goodies… and I opened the oven up and hot air swooshed in my face and I heard my poor new wig crunch! Yes it’s my fault- but it makes me wonder how long it can stay before drying up and becoming a complete bird’s nest when worn on hot summer days. Over all- I’d give it 4.5 stars… reason being is because it’s too sensitive to heat.Noor

I own many Kristens in different colors. Really a great style and comfortable cap. I had a really hard time debating on Kristen and Jamison and now that I have both I must say I much prefer Kristen. The face framing layers are great on my round face. I am sure the permatease is mentioned in many reviews and yes it's there but it's not bad. Rather than trying to press it down if you use a wide tooth comb to lift the hair up you won't really see it. Also before you started wearing wigs how often did you go around inspecting the crowns of stangers heads? When I wear shadded peach I always get compliments on the color and no one ever believes it's a wigJ

This is a really nice wig. I like the versatility with how you can style it. My only complaint is that I ordered the the wrong color for my complexion, but I will make it a gift for my friend who I know is going to love it.Dorothy F.

I don't know how I could get what I got to look like the one in the pictures. I also ordered a dark brown that looked very much like a medium brown — very light and very shiny (very much like a cheap wig). There is no way that I could wear this in public. It looked very wiggy. I really hate to do it but this wig is definitely going back.Marti

I changed this significantly and I made it just like I imagined. The light auburn 27C-29 is gorgeous. Very natural looking highlights. The feel of this wig is amazing when it's new. My only complaint is that it hasn't played that long. Though it can handle heat curling it does cause damage and that has made it's texture change and it feels and behaves more like barbie hair now. But it looks real and has great style and length.Harmony

This wig is great! The bangs are the perfect length, the hair falls naturally and it wears comfortably all day long. After a full day of wear the hair in the back does tangle, but it's easy enough to brush out. I purchased this wig in color 4 (dark brown) and it is quite dark, but still a natural shade. I bought this wig because it was a synthetic/ human hair blend and I thought it would last longer than a regular synthetic wig but boy was I wrong. I started wearing this wig on January 17th 2022 and it didn't even last a month before the nape started getting frizzy and sticking up in the back ( total give away that your wearing a wig) I really had high hopes for this one but was horribly disappointed! The hair on the top of the wig is lovely but Envy put cheap, horrible synthetic hair at the nape. You would think they would have learned a few things by now & would put human hair at the nape. This Emma wig didn't even last as long as a regular synthetic and was much more expensive. Take it from me ladies, I have been wearing wigs every day for the last 6 years and this wig is one of the worst I have ever had…save your money and just buy a synthetic wig.Laura S.

My bio hair is very curly, so when I saw Kaitlyn I knew I had to try her out. The trouble with this style is that the curl pattern/tightness/density DOES vary from piece to piece, so if you don't like the piece you receive, send it back for a different one. I wish I could have done that with mine – it was likely a return, and I can see why: the curls are loose and droopy and sad and sporadic. Sadly, it's a closeout item, so I'm stuck with my decision. (Absolutely NO shade to WigStudio1 – they're fabulous. This is all on me.) I'm going to wash her and see if that will perk up the curl pattern, and if it doesn't, there's always headbands! Just go into your purchase knowing you may not get the wig of your dreams on the first try. All of that said, Kaitlyn is a beautiful style and I'm looking forward to trying her again in the near future.Liz P.

Purchased in chocolate caramel as you see in the photos. I’m a natural dark brunette and it works perfect. I also have a 23 inch head and this still fit me since the cap has a nice stretch. Stays on perfect with a velvet wig grip. Love the natural looking curls, the windblown messy look, and the sort of ***** nature of this wig. The short pixie back is a little different than what I’m used to since I’ve never had a wig that is short in the back and long on top. It takes a little getting used to. Overall I can say it’s comfortable, looks natural, and is super fun. Not sure I would do this as an every day wig but with these curly wigs they are great for a fun night out, a weekend ball game, that kind of thing. I’m 50 years old and I can get away with this style. I will put a review on YouTube under it’s a wonderful wig. Highly recommended.Emily

I was so excited to receive this and try something new. I've been wearing Reese and Sky for a few years now, but wanted to switch it up a bit. I was so disappointed when I saw this. First, it looked like doll hair and the color was AWFUL! I normally wear either Irish Spice or Bronzed Brown. I ordered R3025S+ this time for a "highlighted" look, boy was I wrong. It looked like carrot orange. Well, lesson learned, stick with old faithful.Catherine I.

I loved the look of this wig but was hesitant to buy because of all of the bad reviews. There really are no wigs that look great right out of the box. All wigs need some sort of help. Here’s what I recommend when getting a new wig: take it out of the box and give it a good shake. Put it on and adjust the fit, ear tabs, and general placement. Finger comb it into place and then walk away. Stay away from any mirrors for at least 30 minutes or longer and don’t mess with it. This is important because when you do look in the mirror again you have “fresh eyes”. It will be easier to be more objective and not just reactive. At this point you can focus on what you do and don’t like and determine if the don’t likes are ‘fixable’. Change the part if needed, if there is too much poof, wet it down and finger comb. Don’t do any permanent modifications until you decide if you want to keep it. But give yourself time to evaluate the wig properly. For this wig, I wet the top, used my fingers to make a deep side part sweeping the bangs across my forehead and flattened down some of the poofiness on the top then left it alone to dry. I’m so happy I didn’t let the bad reviews discourage me. She’s a cute, sassy wig!jnut

I am 68 and have been wearing wigs pixie wigs for many years, but want a new wig with a little more fullness. I absolutely love this new wig and would recommend it to anyone. Unlike many of the other wigs that do not even resemble the pictures of the wig they purchased, this one looks exactly like the pictures on QVC. I only have one small complaint. The Med Red/Ginger is NOT red. It is more like a light brown with a little bit of red in it. There are a lot of us natural redheads that would love a short brighter red wig, such as Rachel Welch wig color "Glazed Fire". I would like to suggest that Hairdo and QVC start offering more wigs that are a brighter red for their redheaded customers. Even though I'm not thrilled with the color, I will keep the wig because it is very complementary to my face.grammiecc
