20 Kristen Wig Hot For Sale (2024 Update)

I love Kristen FS26/31S6. It is my go to wig. I have my bio hair but due to Chronic illness, it wears me out to fix it. Bio hair is also very very thin on top now. I would give her 5 stars… however for me, the lace does irritate the skin after a couple hours. I am a redhead with very sensitive skin. Also, I have ordered several of this same wig, and they all have a little variance to them. I have learned how wigs are made and why that is. It is not a machine producing exact replicas. So, I fuss with them until they fit right. I'm sad to see the price going up on everything. I just bought a darker color Kristen for the first time . It has less Blonde for winter. I hope I like it.Amanda

I wasted hundreds of dollars over cheap wigs from nearby stores to my house😖 After finding out about this online store a couple weeks ago, I finally decided to give it a try… although pricey, but tbh- these wigs hold their value at that price. You can barely tell it’s a wig! It looks super natural! It’s super soft! I just love it like a pet! 😂 One downside I would say is that it’s very sensitive to heat… I wore it the first day, and I was baking some goodies… and I opened the oven up and hot air swooshed in my face and I heard my poor new wig crunch! Yes it’s my fault- but it makes me wonder how long it can stay before drying up and becoming a complete bird’s nest when worn on hot summer days. Over all- I’d give it 4.5 stars… reason being is because it’s too sensitive to heat.Noor

I own many Kristens in different colors. Really a great style and comfortable cap. I had a really hard time debating on Kristen and Jamison and now that I have both I must say I much prefer Kristen. The face framing layers are great on my round face. I am sure the permatease is mentioned in many reviews and yes it's there but it's not bad. Rather than trying to press it down if you use a wide tooth comb to lift the hair up you won't really see it. Also before you started wearing wigs how often did you go around inspecting the crowns of stangers heads? When I wear shadded peach I always get compliments on the color and no one ever believes it's a wigJ

I Like this Unit it is easy to customize to your liking, no shedding tangling, easy to cut the lace off and the parting is great, you can even use heat to it, I purchase the DR4/Mushroom Blonde, this is my color for my skin tone, I am going to be ordering this one again, I get many compliments from this unit. This is a great beginners lace front wig! I am not a wig wearer but saw this on an IG page and tried for moths to order and finally caught it in stock! It is easy to install and looks very similar to my natural hair blown out and flat ironed just fuller which is why I like it! The wig cap is large so it will fit larger heads, which is bit of a con for me. I wig horizontally is too large or too long for my head so the lace on each side covers my ears. (I don't believe I have a small head). If I tuck it behind it is rather uncomfortable even after adjusting the clips and band adjuster inside the cap. I tried curling the hair at 400 degrees and it straightened it instead, could be user error though. Overall, the wig looks and feels great for the price. I'm not sure if the wig could be washed but for the price it may not be worth washing when you can just buy a new one! It is not an everyday wig if you are a newbie at wearing wigs. It can become quite uncomfortable after a few hours. I purchased this wig from a different site, but wanted to leave a review here as well since this was the first site I looked for the wig and the other site no longer has it. I've looked everywhere for the perfect salt and pepper wig. After watching numerous reviews on outre's revamping of the Neesha I decided I would have to color my hair to match the units til I found the ffmidnight gray that matches my hair perfectly. My own mother thought I had gotten my hair "done". Beautiful and believable. No one who knows me would ever think it was anything other than my natural hair. I ordered two of these wig styles. I wore the gray one to a mother's day brunch. As I was standing by my car, a lady called out Madia as she was passing by in her car. She thought I looked like the Tyler Perry character. I will never wear that wig again. The black one was designed with way too much hair. The hair does not fall correctly and it has too many layers. I tried it on, and it looked ridiculous. The wigs were supposed to be the exact same style, but they were not.Linda

I had viewed Esela many times keeping in mind negative reviews about this wig that I read on Especially Yours website. Because of your favorable return policy, I decided to order it. Many wig companies do everything they can to keep you from returning their products. My disappointment with Esela was that my purchase did not resemble the wig I viewed on line in style or color.Anna

Sorry for the long post. This wig is really nice and the hair with the rooted color looks just like real hair. I got the pecan delight rooted, it’s a dark brown root color with medium/light golden brown hair with some subtle golden blonde highlights blended in. Very close match to my real hair. Warning I did purchase another wig in pecan delight without the rooting and it just comes off too light, like a very light golden brown. Without the rooting I would go to the next shade darker or maybe even two. I did have two issues with the wig. They won’t stop me from buying another one. The first is that the wig I got was longer in length by a few inches and bulkier, a lot more hair, than in the photos. I did have to give the wig a trim and I did thin it out with thinning shears and it’s perfect. The second issue, which I know I played a huge contributing factor too, is that after fixing the wig to my liking, the ends are already dried out and frizzy. I did get rid of about 75% of that appearance out of the wig. I gently hand washed it and pat dried it just little so it wasn’t soaking wet. Gently combed it out with a wide toothed combed. Starting at the ends, I applied It’s a 10 leave in conditioner with a couple drops of a silicone based heat protection. I then lightly sprayed the wig with a coconut oil heat protectant spray. Gently combed through again and air dried it overnight on the open wire wig stand. I was amazed at the difference and it is holding up nicely.Debra

I wanted to love this wig but the only thing I did love was the color, Buttered Toast. I had searched for a mid length wavy wig and thot I had found it but sadly I just couldn’t get it to work. The back has tight curls but the sides were looser and the left side bangs were so long that I couldn’t do anything with it . I finally did clip it back but it just didn’t look right. I wish I hadn’t cut the tags off so that I could return it, but guess I’m stuck with it. Hopefully, I’ll figure out a way to fix the long bang, perhaps my hairdresser can help.Jeanne

I now own three Flirt Alert wigs, this is my absolute favorite for several reasons. I wear my wigs every day, all day. I need a wig that holds up well to daily use. I find the tangling and matting of the longer wigs to be unbearable! Well let me tell you…flirt alert holds up well!! She is soft and silky, bouncy and beautiful…the 4 inch nape keeps her from matting…I get so many compliments when I wear her. The other day, a woman got out of her car and was screaming across the parking lot wanting to know where I get my hair done because she wanted hers done like mine! LOL! I have been wearing wigs since breast cancer caused my already thinning hair to fall out. Due to POS and a hormone blocker I will take for a few more years, my hair had no chance at coming back to anything resembling a full head. I've played around with a few styles, staying mostly with bobs, which was close to my hairstyle before chemo and I was comfortable with. I decided to take the plunge and go for a shorter, easier style and came upon Advanced French. Ordered in a lighter color (RL 14/22, Pale Golden Wheat) as my own hair is mostly white and a golden blonde. The wig came and it immediately seemed to brighten my face and is a very youthful style, not that at 64 yrs. I want to look like a kid, but every little bit helps. I had it on when the husband came home from work and he didn't have to say anything for me to know he approved. Its fun, easy and for a short style, has some styling options. Just received my Big Deal in Shaded Biscuit. She was out of stock for a while, so I jumped on this order when she became available again, and I'm so glad I did! The fibers are silky soft with los of swingy, natural movement. She's comfortable and can go from daytime to evening easily. Big Time and Upstage are about the longest lengths I'll wear; anything longer jus doesn't look like me. I'm petite, for reference. Also, I have only brushed this wig upside down before putting it on. Do NOT go by the stock photos for this wig. They're so unflattering compared to what it really looks like. Instead look at all of the photos of the beautiful ladies that left reviews. They're more accurate and you can see many different ways that this can be worn. This is much like a straighter version of the Maximum Impact but a little shorter. I have both and will enjoy switching up my style between the two. Super easy to adjust the part if you want to but it's honestly great where it is. The color is amazing and this looks so close to how my real hair used to be that no one has noticed that I'm even wearing a wig. It's pretty comfy and is my second Raquel Welch. VERY good quality and looks SUPER natural. This one's a winner for me!Katie E.

Be prepared for MANY compliments when you wear Simmer. I ordered the RL19/23 Biscuit shade and am in love with it. The way the blonde colors are blended together makes this wig so dynamic. The lace front is truly the "best of the best" on the market. There are icy blonde highlights "growing" out of the lace front and along the temples of this wig. It looks so natural, like you just spent hundreds at a salon on highlights. Out of the many wigs I've ordered, this is my first (but definitely not last) Raquel Welch wig. The fibers and the cap are the softest I've put on my head. My scalp is extremely sensitive due to a prior brain surgery, so the comfort of this wig is what will drive me to purchase a few more Raquel Welch wigs. I've worn Jon Renau, Noriko, and Rene of Paris and while I do like the wigs from those brands, the RW line is a step above. As a note of encouragement to you ladies, I'm almost 50. I will continue to wear bright, fun, long wigs no matter how old I get! I refuse to listen to the "too old for long hair" nonsense. I have severe hair loss on top of my head. Bad enough that I never leave my bedroom without wearing some kind of wig or hair system. This particular wig has become my go-to choice whenever I want a quick change of color or an easy swap to something already styled, for an evening or a whole day. I own several much more expensive human hair wigs, including a similar length, custom made, human hair partial wig, which is designed as a medical prosthetic that I can wear for a week or longer without removing it. Yet I also own and continue to purchase this Gayle wig, in my normal auburn color as well as in black, blonde, silvery grey, redhead, and other colors. It’s comfortable, and totally passes in public situations, including nightclubbing, as if it was my own hair. It was my best wig for several years, before I stepped up to significantly more expensive human hair wigs. This is a great wig for the price, and can easily be used for daily wear.Ceera

I ordered SF13/16 Misty Mocha Average. The overall color is nice but I'm not fond of how dark the ends get. But since I trimmed 3 or 4 inches off the length, the darker color blends in well now. The color looks a little different in different lights. I'm not a fan of perma tease but this style is not too noticeable with the little shorts stubs because of the waviness of the style. I give it four stars for potential, because right out of the box , I had these challenges: Too much hair, both length and thickness. I trimmed the bangs, which many people expect to do. I thinned out the thickness and length with thinning shears which I assume not everyone knows how to do. Starting at chin length holding a few strands the width of about an inch or more, I make one cut every two inches down and brush the cut pieces out. I then took off overall length to my taste. I'm in my 60's so I expected to be able to style it back and/or up. The changes I made allowed me to be happy with it. I will probably not purchase any wig as full and long as this again. One is enough! I wore it a few times this Spring before the heat and look forward to wearing it again in the fall.Carla

This review is for the last two wigs I purchased, which, after purchasing from Paula Young for decades, will be the last two wigs I purchase from this company. First, Gayle is cute, makes me look younger, but the hair is a bit dry and not shiny like all the other wigs I have received, making me think it's not a fresh, new wig. On the other hand, the other wig I ordered, Arielle, was not available in any color I wanted, so I took a chance and ordered something more "wild," not realizing that color cost more. When I donned the wig, I was horrified–it looked terrible on me. I wanted to return it, but was told Paula Young would charge me $8.95, or I could pay postage myself to send it back. This was the first wig I have ever tried to return to Paula Young in probably 35-40 years of ordering from the company. I was so angry at how I was treated that I will never purchase anything from this company again. Rather than return it, I sent it off to Free Wigs for Kids (postage was $5.25). If I wasn’t experienced in wearing wigs, this would have been a really frustrating and disappointing purchase. As soon as I took the hair out of the box, the ends seemed really tough and frizzy, to the point where the comb gets stuck. Because the quality is so poor, I ensure extremely gentle combing but somehow one of the tracks has already broken within the first 1-2 weeks. The **** are that once you tint the lace/add makeup and cut your baby hairs, the hairline blends really week and looks realistic. If you’re more of an expert at tailoring your own wigs then this isn’t too bad, but you won’t be able to wear it for too long because of the quality. If it was cheaper like the original price in the US then I don’t think I would have minded as much.Danielle C.

I am obsessed with this wig! This was my 3rd time ordering, but my first time getting a wig installed for daily wear. When I tell you!!!! It doesn’t feel heavy on my head. It’s a tad tight, BUT I think that’s because I’m not use to wearing one daily, not because of the make of the unit. The color is EXACTLY what I expected and is a perfect summer blend I love that it is a side part too because I love doing a clipped back look behind my ear (will make it easier to wear my walkie at work) I thought it was gonna be too long but I actually love the length! I just started having to wear wigs about 6 months ago and since I don’t have any wig shops near me have had to rely on purchasing solely online which is very scary… this wig exceeded my expectations! I recently had extreme hair loss due to alopecia and needed to purchase a wig. I have never had to do anything like this and didn't know where to start. After looking through SEVERAL websites and styles of wigs I chose Always. It came in promptly, less than a week. It was beautiful right out the box. I wanted looser curls so I combed it out and it looked wonderful! Day 1, I wore it for maybe 4 hours out running errands. When I got home the ends were SO matted and tangled. The ends of the wig look like damaged hair, frizzy and crinkled. I have not used any heat and I have not washed it yet. I've worn it out twice and it looks terrible. I did buy the synthetic hair care package and been applying the products as directed. After purchasing this wig I now know what not to get and what to look for in a wig. I really don't think it will be another Raquel Welch wig. I am so disappointed and hate that I spent $150+ on this poor quality wig.Mariah

This wig is BY FAR my favorite wig from this collection! Not only does the scalp look SO real, but the hair texture is close to my own when it's blow dried out so it looks really natural. I did not have to do ANYTHING to it–no plucking, no make up on the lace, nada. I literally wore it right out of the box after cutting the lace. The wig is beautifulllll I was looking for a curly wig for my birthday and this was just that; perfect! It’s very voluminous and it’s giving pageant Queen lol. Beautiful synthetic wig. I ordered this wig and I'm constantly receiving compliments. I've ordered this wig in FFCream and the highlights are perfect. The color blending is beautiful along with the waves and curls. This wig can be styled either curly or wavy. The cap is medium and will fit a petite size tooi. I've had this wig over a year now (15-16 months). I absolutely love the look but even with caring for it and brushing it daily (the days I wore it) the very back gets severely tangled. I will still wear the wig, but only if I want to be bothered with brushing longer than usual. If you wear wigs often I recommend maybe switching wigs out, but either way this is a great wig for the price. Bought it on Amazon for $17 so I can't really complain. The color is absolutely gorgeous as are the curls. It is prone to tangling around the nape, but I used a Denman to detangle and recurled to bring her back. Ordering another copper and also jade.Paper

This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT

Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. I just wish I had discovered wigs many years ago when I started losing my bio hair would have saved me many tears when I was buying every product out there to get my hair back. I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.
