Ladies I have a small head but this wig is very big head friendly lots of room. With that being said I would like to see this wig with band install. The hair has some tangle easy fix with conditionor. Lace will require some time not a grab & go unit. This wig is big head friendly, the curls fit my face well, and I like the length. The lace looks very believable and there's ample parting space. This wig should come with a strap because the front of the wig tends to slip back often. This wig lasted one and a half months before it became visible tattered. Hard to brush and comb without it frizzing up, but it lasted me a total of three months, wearing it daily. I have to wash it twice a month because it holds on to surrounding odors easily.Blair

I used to have the same color, texture, and cut 35 years ago. I do feel that I look significantly younger wearing this wig. I have very sensitive skin, but this fiber does not irritate my neck. It barely touches my shoulders and does not irritate that skin either. I don't really know how to style hair, so it's lucky that this wig looked great right out of the box. I think it has that European chic. I love the softness of the cut around the face and of the waves. I don't think I'll ever want to wear another wig ever again!

Color was perfect and I’ve had many compliments. Nice quality and cap size fits me really well. I have a smaller head but this avg cap fits great. Only complaint is that there seem to be a lot of shorter hairs sticking up at the crown. I’ve tried to mouse them down to no avail. I hope washing and conditioning will calm it down. I love Raquel’s wig quality and they last longer than any other I’ve tried.

I find it funny that because I stated I was highly disappointed in the wig I purchased from this website they deleted my review. Well here we are again. I have no problem putting my review up here again. The quality of the wig its self was slightly decent when it comes to the feel and texture of the hair however I could not find the part in this wig like the picture shows and the other review that was posted. Also the wig looks like its missing hair in the front. Its clearly visible that this is a wig. Stick with buying at your local beauty stores. If I wasn’t experienced in wearing wigs, this would have been a really frustrating and disappointing purchase. As soon as I took the hair out of the box, the ends seemed really tough and frizzy, to the point where the comb gets stuck. Because the quality is so poor, I ensure extremely gentle combing but somehow one of the tracks has already broken within the first 1-2 weeks. The **** are that once you tint the lace/add makeup and cut your baby hairs, the hairline blends really week and looks realistic. If you’re more of an expert at tailoring your own wigs then this isn’t too bad, but you won’t be able to wear it for too long because of the quality. If it was cheaper like the original price in the US then I don’t think I would have minded as much.Danielle C.

I recently had extreme hair loss due to alopecia and needed to purchase a wig. I have never had to do anything like this and didn't know where to start. After looking through SEVERAL websites and styles of wigs I chose Always. It came in promptly, less than a week. It was beautiful right out the box. I wanted looser curls so I combed it out and it looked wonderful! Day 1, I wore it for maybe 4 hours out running errands. When I got home the ends were SO matted and tangled. The ends of the wig look like damaged hair, frizzy and crinkled. I have not used any heat and I have not washed it yet. I've worn it out twice and it looks terrible. I did buy the synthetic hair care package and been applying the products as directed. After purchasing this wig I now know what not to get and what to look for in a wig. I have purchased several wigs from Vogue over the past few years, and I've bought more than one of this style. The texture and quality make it my very favorite! It is unbelievably realistic with the look and feel of real hair, whether you wear it straight or curly. I always trim bangs on mine and typically trim off some of the length for a little more layered look. The highlighting is so natural that I've had several people ask me who does my hair! I wear this almost every day and regular washing helps keep it soft and reduces fraying on the ends. I've also found that using a curling iron or flat iron will also help with some of the fraying on the ends. This wig also has a very natural monofilament top which allows the hair to lay very nicely no matter how you part it. The best feature of this wig is the texture of the hair, which allows you style it as you would your own. It's amazingly natural looking, soft, and beautiful!

This wig is BY FAR my favorite wig from this collection! Not only does the scalp look SO real, but the hair texture is close to my own when it's blow dried out so it looks really natural. I did not have to do ANYTHING to it–no plucking, no make up on the lace, nada. I literally wore it right out of the box after cutting the lace. The wig is beautifulllll I was looking for a curly wig for my birthday and this was just that; perfect! It’s very voluminous and it’s giving pageant Queen lol. This is my first time ordering I live in Canada Ontario, the wig took 9 days to come ( a little over a week). It was long, loose curls and baby hair straight out the package. Fit perfectly fine on my head I fixed the straps to my liking. Unit was 13×6 parting space, lace was light. Volume of the wig wasn’t the best compared to other sensationnel wigs, felt like a synthetic wig. The colour was burgundy wine however on my dark complexion it looked more red not burgundy. it’s so soft and silky, really long and as for now there’s been no tangling or shedding. doesn’t shine like at all (or not that much) and feels and looks like human hair. this is how it look straight out of the box🤯 the color #4 looks so natural it literally looks like it’s my real hair, growing out of my scalp. it’s literally giving. my only problem is that it is kinda tight?? i’ll braid my hair later and will put her on, i’ll say how it goes.Stephanie M.
My mom gave Solana to me, because she wasn’t really feeling the color on her. I think this color is called “Chocolate Flamboyage” and when I first tried her on I too wasn’t 100% in love with this color as well, and being new to wearing synthetic wigs I really didn’t know what to do with it either lol. Anywho so I trimmed the lace, plucked & parted it, and I even took a black sharpie & darkened the roots to my liking & “Walla” she’s stunning now!! I’ve worn real hair for years, so I’ve found that stying synthetic hair is a little different, but this Swiss lace turned out to be easy to work with & melt just fine. I love Kristen FS26/31S6. It is my go to wig. I have my bio hair but due to Chronic illness, it wears me out to fix it. Bio hair is also very very thin on top now. I would give her 5 stars… however for me, the lace does irritate the skin after a couple hours. I am a redhead with very sensitive skin. Also, I have ordered several of this same wig, and they all have a little variance to them. I have learned how wigs are made and why that is. It is not a machine producing exact replicas. So, I fuss with them until they fit right. I'm sad to see the price going up on everything. I just bought a darker color Kristen for the first time . It has less Blonde for winter. Omg.. how come I did not know about this website?! I wasted hundreds of dollars over cheap wigs from nearby stores to my house😖 After finding out about this online store a couple weeks ago, I finally decided to give it a try… although pricey, but tbh- these wigs hold their value at that price. You can barely tell it’s a wig! It looks super natural! It’s super soft! I just love it like a pet! 😂 One downside I would say is that it’s very sensitive to heat… I wore it the first day, and I was baking some goodies… and I opened the oven up and hot air swooshed in my face and I heard my poor new wig crunch! Yes it’s my fault- but it makes me wonder how long it can stay before drying up and becoming a complete bird’s nest when worn on hot summer days. I own many Kristens in different colors. Really a great style and comfortable cap. I had a really hard time debating on Kristen and Jamison and now that I have both I must say I much prefer Kristen. The face framing layers are great on my round face. I am sure the permatease is mentioned in many reviews and yes it's there but it's not bad. Rather than trying to press it down if you use a wide tooth comb to lift the hair up you won't really see it. This is a beautiful wig. However, the color was a disappointment. My hair is pure white and while I knew it would not be a perfect match I was hoping there would be more similarities. The color description said lightest gray evenly blended with pure white. I feel that there is much more gray than pure white. Also, The wig looked more like a medium gray color with very little pure white standing out. If it weren’t for that I would give it a 5 star rating.

Turns out that the color is just a warm blond, which is perfect! I do love the platinum highlights around the face! The cap fits my head very well, so no problems there. It's amazing how much it looks like real hair, so much so that in my mind IT IS real hair! Wearing it is like taking a trip down memory lane. I used to have the same color, texture, and cut 35 years ago. I do feel that I look significantly younger wearing this wig. I have very sensitive skin, but this fiber does not irritate my neck. It barely touches my shoulders and does not irritate that skin either. I don't really know how to style hair, so it's lucky that this wig looked great right out of the box. I think it has that European chic. I love the softness of the cut around the face and of the waves. I don't think I'll ever want to wear another wig ever again!

Saying this unit is beautiful is an under statement. I fell in love with this one on first sight. It was better when I received it. The color (Chocolate Swirl) is rich and gorgeous! It does have layers and volume (so if you don't like big hair, this might not be for you). The fit is a tad snug but not so tight where I could experience a migraine from it. Well, I finally learned my lesson. I cannot purchase clearance items any longer since every time I have, there has been something either wrong with the wig (manufacturing) or something I didn't like and there are no returns. There wasn't anything wrong with this piece. She just had way too much hair and the fibers were so dry they were like straw. It is a beautiful warm color but the density, the permatease and the dry fibers made this difficult to pull off. I thinned it out and tried to tame the permatease but it just didn't work. Plus, the fibers were like doll hair and so that was a dead giveaway. This was the third JR piece and all have pretty dry fibers. Is this normal? I am a first time buyer, trying to figure out what fits and how to wear the wigs. I ordered 3 wigs in this first order, and two of them I can adjust and work with. But "Gwen" has very short hair and it looks nothing like the pictures! I had it on my head for a few seconds and couldn't stand the very short hair with no shape at all. It looked like a hedgehog, The color is nice, but this wig is too small, too short hair for my plus size figure: Gwen Wig by Jon Renau STRAWBERRY BLONDE AND WARM PLATINUM BLONDE BLENDED & TIPPED W STRAWBERRY BLONDE NAPE (27T613F). In all fairness, I only had it on my head a few seconds and took it off right away, I didn't try to make it look better, afraid to ruin the chance for return. It might be ok for someone else, but at 62 yrs old and plus size figure, that little wig was not even funny! I filled out the return label for "Gwen" but keeping the other two, with medium length hair: "Blushing Beauty" Wig by Gabor | Mono Part GL16/27 and the "Salsa" Wig by Raquel Welch | Large Cap R14/88H Golden Wheat. Those two are a bit large and I need to learn to adjust the tabs in the back, and I also need to figure out from the videos how to "style" them with my fingers so they look good for me. This is a cute summer wig for someone who doesn't want permatese. It's low density. I got 22F16 there is not enough dimension for me but I do feel someone looking for a well made no permatese, low density piece would be very happy with it. I did have lots of thick hair & I like some poof on top.I was going to give it away but it is growing on me using dry shampoo,piece out & hair spray. Even tho it's symmetrical you can achieve a asymmetrical look with some tucking. I have noticed many reviews/comments on various pieces that I feel expectations are often unrealistic. Let's face it we all don't look like the beautiful ladies,Eileen,Marlen or Taz much less the models. I have found often if I think I don't like something if I change my makeup,color I'm wearing wait a few days,wear it around the house,often one I thought I would send back grows on me. Also often they just need a bit of tweaking with a small trim here & there to make it my own. I imagine very few can just take most of them out of the box with INSTANT SUCCESS ! Even I expected it at 1st & being a Master Stylist (retired) should have known better. I guess what I'm trying to say to all those who are new like me is to be patient.S N.
