20 Laurence Fishburne Wig For Sale (2023 Update)

Beautiful wig in GL14/22SS. This blonde shade is perfect for my natural brunette skin tone (light to medium neutral leaning toward warm). It's not too warm, nor is it too cool, and it doesn't wash me out. I discovered Gabor recently and love the hairline and softly shaded roots of the shaded shades. The hair is soft and fine. It tends to be a face flopper on me, but I plan to train it back. My photo shows it clipped on the right side.Lydia S.

This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Although I've never tried Raquel Welch's "Winner," Serving Style seems similar to the basic (non-Elite) version of that wig, with the addition of a lace front for off-the-face styling versatility. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. Perfect color if you’re a brunette and you want to start going lighter and have it look natural. Will put a review on YouTube under “it’s a wonderful wig” since I love this so much. The wigs did not look like what I ordered. The curls were different. It fit fine but not what I thought I ordered and I can’t even return it because I tried it on. So I was not pleased with either one of my purchases.Donnell B.

I was very excited when I saw this wig on Sherrie Shephard. The excitement disappeared immediately after I tried it. I was really disappointed. I have not worn it yet, but I will continue to work on it until I get it to work for me. So far ,not good. I'm determined to make it work.Venra E.

This wig is bad! It is not auburn it is bright-penny copper. It does not have a nice tight curls, it's more like a mess of waves. Not at all like the picture. It would work for a nineties look.Rachel

I have been suffering from thinning hair on my front and top head for several years. I often wear Kimono, Japanese traditional clothes. So, I looked for a natural and good wig harmonizing with Kimono. I need to make that wig up-styling. Simply Flawless much exceeded my expectations. It is very easy for me to make and arrange up-styling as seen on photos. Front Lace gives very natural hair line. Nobody cannot find I wear a wig. I have confidence to appear myself in public with wearing Simply Flawless and was freed from my worries. I want to try other front lace wig. I am pleased that if black color “Hot Fudge 1B” is added on color variation for all wigs.Sayuri

I bought my first at 50% to mostly experiment with professional cutting to a mid-size bob. Then I tried successfully loose curling with steam and rollers. I left it down and used small berets and claw clips to create different looks. All very nice and easy to manage. Wash every other week by turning wig inside out and swish around in synthetic wig soap or mild laundry detergent and cool water to keep curls in tact. Or use hot, tap water (not boiling water) to loosen the curls. You can straighten it using hand steamer and a comb. Curl again using hand steamer and curlers. Watch Youtube videos to learn how. Many possibilities even though this wig isn't heat friendly. I now love regular synthetics more than thick, over-coated, easily tangled heat friendly wigs. The lace part and cap is the best that I've seen with comfy (none bulky ear tabs). Ear tabs are well thought out for realistic. I would love for this to come in average size cap. I do make the petite work for me by using hot water to wash occasionally and drying on a foam head of 21.5" which is petite/avg…. so it stretches a little before applying to my head making it perfect fit.. not tight.Joanna E.

I was looking 2 custom cut since I don’t like many pre-cuts. 10/12 Sunlit Ches (matches description). Gabor’s color ring is accurate and the hair is fine/light and multi-dimensional. The color nearly matched my bio hair! Previously, I lost hope and bought a human hair wig Louis Ferre in Ginger Brown 50% off sale. After seeing many med brown colors, I found ginger nice so kept it because 50% off & make it my experimental piece, with hope! Ened up not liking L.F.’s thick hair. After deciding to keep it to customize, we tried "red out" with med brown neutral color to tone down. No damage done, but no change in color so lesson learned with pre-processed and Remy hair. Simple Flawless’s (All Gabor) lace front and mono tops are great. Fits my avg size head. Not shiny like with Jon Renau's & Raquel Welch's. I planned to cut it from its long glory to 14". But then I realized I don't like wearing "straight" on my shoulders at work. My coat on/off, cleaning/ stocking around the office causes straight hair to appear stiff/clumpy. Still hav 2 learn 2 prevent this. I cut it 2 med length. Make sure your stylist has experience with synthetics). I wore it for a wk after getting the 2nd cut and then decided to try curling it. I watched online videos showing a few folks using a curling iron (yes on synthetic!), steam curling and boil curling. I did boil curling last & it gave the best, long lasting curls. This is a very sleek low density wig…no permatease on top..but starting above the ears permatease goes all the way around the wig..this is what gives it that rounded shape…I need some lift on top so this style didn't flatter me. If you are looking for a very sleek low density style with razored edges that are very light and feathery in the front On Edge would be great for you. Nice lace front and mono part… bordering on sparse but still nice. I did send mine back which was very easy to do thanks to CysterWigs excellent customer service.Kathleen R.

The On Edge is the 10th wig I have purchased and the first from Gabor. I ordered it in Shadow Shade Honey Toast (GL14/16SS). The wig is beautifully made and the lace front is very well done, but I was very disappointed with the style. Their marketing photos completely misrepresent the style of this wig. I purchased it as I thought it would have an angled edgy look as shown in their photos. This wig is NOT either of those things. I am not saying that it's not a pretty or flattering wig on my head…it is, but it's not what I thought I was getting. Normally I always look at multiple YouTube video's prior to purchasing my hairpieces, but there just wasn't much out there on this particular style since it was so new. Initially, I wasnt sure how this wig would look on me, but once I cut the lace to my liking and dampened the hair with a little water, in my opinion, this wig is gorgeous. This wig fits well and look great. My problem with this wig is that I ordered color # 60 which in any other company would be a pure white. The wig I received looked more like a platnum blonde. This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT

Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. I just wish I had discovered wigs many years ago when I started losing my bio hair would have saved me many tears when I was buying every product out there to get my hair back. I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

Have been wearing this wig for at least 8 yrs…and have tried many other styles, but this I’s my favorite and I keep returning. Have ordered MANY of this particular wig, and will continue. Am concerned though, that the colors are being clearanced….and hope this doesn’t mean that the style is on it’s way out. I LOVE my U-Part wig from Perfect Locks! I purchased the Straight Platinum Blonde U-Part Wig & dyed it my hair color with no problem! I love that I can have straight hair without having to straighten all of my curly hair. This definitely saved me 2 hours of straightening my hair! I also like that if I want to go for a more natural beachy look, I can scrunch the hair and add the Curly Definer cream from their Curl Care line! I'll definitely be purchasing their Tight Curly U-Part so I can wear my natural curls with added length!Journie

I’ve never ever had any issues with the lace front wigs shedding with this company even after dyeing my wigs. The curly U- Part wig I purchased shed as soon as I took it out the packaging , and only got worst as I attempted to attach it to my hair. Keep in mind, I'm not combing this unit just lightly running my fingers through it to blend my hair. Don’t waste your money, I’ve already had to replace this wig with the wavy version. While the wavy version doesn’t shed right out the package, it does shed with styling which is something I’ve never experienced with the lace front wigs (FYI I’ve bleached my lace fronts after wearing them for 3-4months prior). Needless to say, I’ll be sticking with what has always worked, lace fronts.Stephanie B.

I liked the wig itself, it was cute and comfortable. The color I ordered tho was much blonder than I thought t would be. It as a rooted color, but there was no color at the root, basically the color was blended. I tried to find another color that I could try that is close to what I usually wear which is mailibu blonde or FS8 but you were out of anything that might have been near those and didn’t carry it in those colors. So I’ve returned it for a credit to my account. Hopefully I won’t have any difficulties with that, I shouldn’t cause I only tried it on.Tanya G.
