An 18th century styled wig in white with an attached tie on the back. great to use for george washington, thomas jefferson, alexander hamilton and other founding fathers. complete your patriotic costume with this wig! wig styling tips do not use heated styling tools as this will damage synthetic fiber. cool temperature styling tools, plastic curlers, and hair spray are recommended. remove wig from packaging and also remove hair net. for loose, curly and wavy wigs, it is suggested that you hold wig upside down by the cap and shape to loosen and layer the fibers. this will also add fullness to your wig. add hair spray to hold if desired. this is not recommended for wigs that are pinned or tightly styled. remove tangles with your fingers and gentle brush your wig. the only exception is wigs that are very curly – don't attempt to brush them. if your wig if frizzy or has static cling you can use a dryer sheet to smooth down the fly away hairs. care instruction fill a basin with a mix of cool water (hot water can damage can damage your wig) and mild shampoo. leave wig to soak for 5 minutes. swirl your wig around in the water, but don't rub the fibers. rinse your wig under cool running water. shake excess water off your wig and spread on a towel to dry. alternatively, you can put it on a wig stand to air dry. brush your wig when it is completely dry and it is ready to wear again.

The wig is very good. There is next to no shedding, soft, not too shiny, and thick. The wig cap also fit super well. It was a little snug behind the ears before adjustments. The wig in the photograph on the package of the product looked much different than the actual wig when I got it. The wig in the photograph looked like a full one length wig with bangs, very much like Garth's actual hair. The wig that I got was not all one length, but instead had strange short layers cut on the top of it and the bangs as well. It looks more like some sort of hair metal band wig. The bangs aren't really there they kind of stick out, and straight up and the top of the wig has lots of hair sticking up as well. The underneath layer is so thin that you can almost see through it. It does not look like Garth's hair, nor does it look like the package. You can even see the netting on the top of it. I was hoping that I would get what I thought I was buying. I know that I got a cheap deal on the wig and glasses kit, but I think that the wig should look like what the package shows that it looks like.viviacour-0

Not the best quality but what does one expect. My wife really looked like Garth when she put it on. You may want to take your skin coloring in to account. I am fairly tan and it didn't work on me that well. But it was an easy costume to wear all night long. I would recommend it. This wig is good value but doesn't fully look like the one on the packet. It has the SNL branding inside so it's definitely the right wig. However, the hair on top is much shorter and spikier than appears on the packet – I opened mine a couple of weeks before wearing and put it on something in the hope that it would settle down following being stuck in the packet, but it didn't. I tried to style it with my hands and with a hairbrush/comb but it just kept spiking back up, rather than laying flat like in the picture. Overall, decent enough for what it is though.media-emma
