I mainly purchased this unit because I wanted a little more length at the top. When I first purchased the Mommy wig before it became super popular a few years ago it was constructed so much better. It's thin in the front with tracks sewn weirdly. I had my original to compare. They mostly look like rush jobs. I thought the Mommy II would be better and closer to the original. It has longer lengths on each side which is what I was looking for. However the cap is bigger than the regular mommy wig and I found it too hard to work with. I trimmed the edges and dyed it and it looked nice but I have a small head so I found it just too awkward. I will stick with the Mommy original for a short style. Its not as snug of a fit and I couldn't make it work. Not a bad wig if you have a medium to large head but not really for small heads. Though it depends how you wear it.C M.
Didn't Use It. I love the Mommy Wig but I've gotten it in 4/30, 4/24 and 4/27/30 No one has these colors, but I trust and used Ebonyline always. I ordered this hopping that the color would work. I don't know what is was, but my eyes swelled up when the hair got into my eyes!! I couldn't wear it. My eyes are only sensitive to cats if I touch them, nothing else that I know of. After a lot of dry shampoo and brushing I got her restyled. Here's my favorite look with her. I got color 3T34, they put silver grey on top and the 34 in back. This wig is so wonderful! I literally was able to cut the extra lace off and put it on! It laid flat. The hair part looks so natural, no need for makeup unless you’d prefer a darker look. The lay of the hair is “butta” so smooth. The color is amazing, it matches so well with my skin tone. The wig has three clips; one on both sides and one in the back. The only drawback for me is it does not have a band to add more stay security. My head is a bit small, so I need that extra support. This wig turned so many heads. I was even told “I’m used to being Becky with the good hair, now I can’t because of your new look!” I took it as a compliment. Such a good wig, I’m buying it again!Sharron M.
I originally ordered this because of a fantastic YouTube review . It didn’t live up to my expectations. Pros the hair is soft , nice and I’ve received so many compliments. It’s so long too !! I’m 5’8” and it went past my waist. It looks natural and can get it wet for the wet look with eco style gel ,but that style doesn’t last long. Cons it tangles SO MUCH not to the point where I can’t wear it but I know it’s going to be a daily issue if I wear it everyday. I wish the lace was longer because it barely reached my ears despite it being “ big head friendly.”Jay
