I bought this wig because it was a synthetic/ human hair blend and I thought it would last longer than a regular synthetic wig but boy was I wrong. I started wearing this wig on January 17th 2022 and it didn't even last a month before the nape started getting frizzy and sticking up in the back ( total give away that your wearing a wig) I really had high hopes for this one but was horribly disappointed! The hair on the top of the wig is lovely but Envy put cheap, horrible synthetic hair at the nape. You would think they would have learned a few things by now & would put human hair at the nape. This Emma wig didn't even last as long as a regular synthetic and was much more expensive. Take it from me ladies, I have been wearing wigs every day for the last 6 years and this wig is one of the worst I have ever had…save your money and just buy a synthetic wig.Laura S.

The trouble with this style is that the curl pattern/tightness/density DOES vary from piece to piece, so if you don't like the piece you receive, send it back for a different one. I wish I could have done that with mine – it was likely a return, and I can see why: the curls are loose and droopy and sad and sporadic. Sadly, it's a closeout item, so I'm stuck with my decision. (Absolutely NO shade to WigStudio1 – they're fabulous. This is all on me.) I'm going to wash her and see if that will perk up the curl pattern, and if it doesn't, there's always headbands! Just go into your purchase knowing you may not get the wig of your dreams on the first try. Purchased in chocolate caramel as you see in the photos. I’m a natural dark brunette and it works perfect. I also have a 23 inch head and this still fit me since the cap has a nice stretch. Stays on perfect with a velvet wig grip. Love the natural looking curls, the windblown messy look, and the sort of ***** nature of this wig. The short pixie back is a little different than what I’m used to since I’ve never had a wig that is short in the back and long on top. It takes a little getting used to. Overall I can say it’s comfortable, looks natural, and is super fun. Not sure I would do this as an every day wig but with these curly wigs they are great for a fun night out, a weekend ball game, that kind of thing. I’m 50 years old and I can get away with this style. I will put a review on YouTube under it’s a wonderful wig. Highly recommended.Emily

I ordered this in the Salt Pepper Mix. I really like the color. I some what like the style. It is too long and looks like you really need a trim at the nap of your neck. The quality problem is the same problem I have seen with three Ellen Wille wigs I ordered. There are little short hairs sticking up all over the back of the crown area or in the case of Cara 100 Deluxe wig the short straight hairs were sticking out all over the top. Another complaint, is that the picture here on the website is very inaccurate. In the red haired picture, that wig has been cut in the back. Wigs should not be altered in pictures for advertising a wig. I like that Ellen Wille wigs do not have excessive permatease and the cap being an petite/average fits me better than average sizes. But these quality issues are costing me a lot of money when you have to return the wig. Unfortunately, I don't have a wig store near me where I could try on wigs.
I ordered this wig in two colors, hoping that it was a bit more wavy to curly style with natural density on top. I was kinda hoping for the love child between Ellen Wille Arrow and Girl Mono. I was going on stock pictures and youtube reviews, but in reality it has a very choppy, strongly layered cut, and no real waves or curls. I had to brush these wigs with a regular "forbidden" kind of hairbrush instead of a wide tooth comb, to make the hair come together, instead of each lock of hair being super pieced out, doing their own thing. It also has a bit of permatease on one side of the part, and that kind of increased in volume during the day that I've worn her. For my head and face shape (large), permatease isn't a good idea. So… for me personally it's not a winner. However, if you need that extra bit of volume on top, you will LOVE this! If you like choppy layers and playfulness, but not really want to go for full curls or beach waves, this is a yes! Quality of hair is amazing and the cap is super comfortable. Lace front on Ellen Wille is one of the best in the industry in my opinion.Lea S.
Wish I had bought this piece first. Wore it right out of box. Professionally cut, realistic density and very fine denier. Hairline is undetectable. With hand tying too, It’s the most natural piece I have. Mine is champagne mix, it is close in shade to RW shaded biscuit, Henry Margu 10/613GR, and maybe JR’s Palm Springs Blond? Ellen Wille’s shade is a nice blend for most any med to ash blonde or for someone whose blonde is beginning to gray. No gold really. Not shiny. Very nice length. I still have a lot of hair length and that is the only challenge with me wearing this one since it is designed to fit with very little to no hair. I am making it work tucking my hair flat under wig cap. My bio hair has thinned to point that I need more hair to look normal again. I’m a petite/med? Not a good experience. The wig specs are wrong, should read 6 inche not 3 inch sides, way too long for me and the color was almost brown. The wig went back into the box and was returned. I have been told the specs will be corrected – not the last time I looked but have not been to the site today. I love the cut of this wig. But I have tried to get a tolerable color and have had to return or trash several Vistas. Apparently Wille likes the flamboyance of garish brunette colors. Either they’re way too dark for a light complexion or an unnatural color that screams “phony!” If they made this wig in a soft medium brown —either an 8 or a 10– I’d be the first to buy multiples of it. It is otherwise near perfect for me.

It has been over 15 years since I had a human hair wig. I tried one previously and it was I’ll fitting and looked very unnatural. This wig, however, fits comfortably (it’s honestly still slightly larger than what I’d love and I just mention that in case anyone is nervous hearing that it is more on the petite side. I wish it were more petite!). I do, however, love the amount of hair in Cascade. It’s thickness looks very natural. The fibers tangle too easily. I can't do anything without this wig tangling and matting in a weird way. It's embarrassing to me and now I have to replace it after only 2 months of wear. I've tried conditioners in hopes of coating the fibers and reducing friction, but it doesn't last even a whole day. I have been impressed with the construction of the cap. Considering I have to brush the wig out many times throughout the day, I'm surprised that the crown hasn't thinned badly. Many wigs come already too thin in the crown, but not this one. The Chocolate Mix color is nice. Other wig brands use fibers (heat friendly and otherwise) that can be smoothed every day or two with a straightener on low heat. Frizziness is not the issue with this wig. It just can't handle friction.Carrie E.
I'm a big fan of Elite, which will always be my favorite EW style. The cut on this one is great and similiar to elite but with more face framing layers in the front which very modern. The hair so silky and such a natural looking density. I'm having a hard time though with the colors. Not sure if they changed the colors but cannot find hot chocolate mix my go to for elite and few other older styles, in the newer styles. Also, the same color in different collections look somewhat different. I purchased this in dark chocolate mix and starting wearing it recently and don't see too much highlights, granted i haven't washed it yet, for some reason that makes a difference sometimes in the fiber. I have amina in the same color and although a rich brown you can see all of the highlights, this has more of a inky look, I can wear easily as my eyes are very dark and my coloring is okay with it. I definitely love this style, and will someday down the road when i can get a good deal try the chocolate shaded. This wig is a bit out of my budget so cannot buy full price at the moment.Jen G.

I love the Chelsea wig for ease of wear. I purchased the color 6/27 which is a beautiful brown with caramel highlights around the face. I originally thought the brown color 6 would be too dark for me but I was pleasently surprised. I love that although this is an open cap wig it has closed ear tabs. Unfortunately I don't see closed ear tabs in many of the open cap/basic cap wigs. I have sensitive skin around my head where the wigs rest and the comfort of closed ear tabs is fast becoming a necessity for me. Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. Sorry PY but your wigs need to be lighter weight, lay nicer, (some of us like a bit flatter style) far less perma tease or fluff, easier to wear right out of the box…Thanks anyway…Juanita
I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. The style does not resemble the picture at all !Eve

Risk was a total failure and Tab was like a rooster costume with a mound of hair on top that looked ridiculous! I looked at the men's wigs trying to get a really short hair wig but they don't come in blond hair. So far, it's been a total disappointment, not to speak of the nearly $60 they charged me for returning a wig (Tab) what was in my hands and head less than 15 minutes! I love the color on me. I love the style and the flexibility I have with the Lace Front . What I don't love is that it's just a smidgen too small, I feel. Even though my head measures for a Petite, I guess I prefer an Average size fit as one of my other wigs, in a Raquel Welch style is much more comfortable for me to wear. I also find this Lace Front to be a bit scratchy. This would be the perfect wig and style for me IF the fit were better and the Lace Front a little softer. But even with these drawbacks, it remains one of my favorite wigs.Lynne

Loved the fit but the color looked horrible on me. I wanted to exchange it for another color but was unable to because I had inadvertly cut the hanging tag off. I have the tag and have not worn the wig but still they will not accept it so I can purchase another one. I am out $200. and very unhappymary s.
The delivery of my order was timely and in good condition however the wig itself is not the same as the one I already have. The top is shorter and spikier it’s almost like someone must have cut it. Not sure if I will keep this. Have to really think it through, and that is because as cute as it is, and as lovely as the color is ( snow mix), I can easily see the tracks or wefts if I run my fingers from front to back along the top in the opposite direction from how the hair is cut. The cut is definitely designed to fall forward from the crown, so you most likely woukd not be changing that up too much, and if that direction stays in place, like no wind is ruffling it, or no nosy and annoying person messes with it while on your head, you will not likely see the tracks, but at $208.00 you may feel uneasy about settling for this flaw. I’m honestly really torn on this one. I’ll wait a few days, try it on again, reassess and make my final decision. I’m bringing this up because other people on the web want the scoop on this. The issue has been raised, so if I can save someone who is very particular about this type of thing, that’s important. I will say, I did not buy more than one, and I only have this one color to report on, so I cannot tell you if each wig in this style will have the track issue, and I don’t know if it is less noticeable in some colors than in others. I love Jon Renau synthetic pieces in the colors 6 and 8/32. I have about 8 toppers and wigs in these colors. I purchased Bryce in color 6 and the the fibers felt terribly dry, crunchy and tangled. No matter how much silicon spray I used I just could not get these fibers to become manageable. The monofilament and stitching is also different than all of my other Jon Renau pieces. The monofilament is shiny, the knots are thicker, the lace folds and bubbles. The only good thing is the cap is not as massive as some of the other more recent wigs they’ve released. I’m petite-average and I could comfortably wear this wig. I am really hesitant to try any of their new styles after this complete waste of money. It’s just a mess and unwearable. I’ve never felt this way about a Jon Renau piece.Amy
The fibers in this wig are really dry…. I had a hard time with the bangs and mine wasn’t even close to the styles shown. The wig just kept shedding even after washing it. I have never had a wig shed so much. I’m not sure if it was a defect in the manufacturing or if that’s how they all are. Just wasted over $200 on a wig that I will never wear. I was so excited for this wig. I own over 15 other Jon Reanu wigs in the same color – caramel ribbon and the color does not match any of my others, not even close. It is extremely brassy. I received the hairpiece on a timely basis. It was in good shape. The color I ordered, Silverstone, didn't say anything about being completely white in the front. Some of the others did which is why I didn't order them. When I called after I received it the customer service person wasn't much help . I like the piece and bought one previously in a different color. I believe the picture of the piece needs to show the front as well as the back especially when it is so different. I was disappointed because I thought this piece was an answer to my problems. I did keep the hairpiece because I didn't see any others in the gray tones. The description for the Silverstone color needs to say it is white in the front. Like I said the others did which is why I didn't buy them. I have been wearing wigs and hairpieces for over 20 years. Great topper wig for coverage. It's almost like a full wig, but not as confining or heavy. I have thinning hair, and the clips keep the topper in place. I believe this synthetic wiglet looks more authentic than many others, because the 'hair' is not so shiny. Also, the amount of hair is generous in this wiglet. I've found that hairpieces work well for me since I still have plenty hair everywhere but the top and upper sides of my head. So I don't need to wear a hot, full wig! I ordered this Enhancer first in a color that wasn't right so I reordered in wineberry. I was concerned wineberry might be too red but it's not – it's a very natural looking soft red and blends exactly with the color I put on my delicate hair (I avoid beauty shop or main brand chemical colors). I use Herbaceuticals Naturcolor that I get at Sprouts or Wholefoods. I mix Cinnamon with Turmeric Blonde -2/3 to 1/3 – and get a very similar shade to this Wineberry color – lasts longer than Clairol or chemical colors anyway. I tell you this because many of us redhead and blondes don't need to be using harsh chemicals on our delicate, baby fine hair as we age. I'm 67 and I think a hairpiece makes more difference in my not looking my age than all the facial creams and procedures I could afford to do. Vogue Wigs has been very helpful in my returning and exchanging pieces until I get just the right one. Nice online company to do business with!

I purchased this wig and love it. The one I have is cut into more of an A-line bob that is very flattering to my shape of face. I looked and looked for a wig that I felt comfortable wearing and that looked like me and I found this one fit the bill. It falls into place with a minimum of fuss. I love it! Pros Everything about it. Cons Nothing.
