I mainly purchased this unit because I wanted a little more length at the top. When I first purchased the Mommy wig before it became super popular a few years ago it was constructed so much better. It's thin in the front with tracks sewn weirdly. I had my original to compare. They mostly look like rush jobs. I thought the Mommy II would be better and closer to the original. It has longer lengths on each side which is what I was looking for. However the cap is bigger than the regular mommy wig and I found it too hard to work with. I trimmed the edges and dyed it and it looked nice but I have a small head so I found it just too awkward. I will stick with the Mommy original for a short style. Its not as snug of a fit and I couldn't make it work. Not a bad wig if you have a medium to large head but not really for small heads. Though it depends how you wear it.C M.

I've been wearing this wig for two weeks now. I adore it. It was super easy to cut into layers. I have very thick coarse hair. After a relaxer, my hair and this unit are the same texture. The hair is light and flows nicely. Others have said it's very long. It is long, but ss mentioned previously styles and cuts very easy. I've had some tangling in the back, but the tangles are easily removed with a brush. I have not noticed any shedding with the hair. The combs in the front and back are lengthy and very secure. My go to. Looks so natural. Everyone thinks it's my real hair. Even when the hair starts looking rough, I put a flat iron on it and boom, back to normal. I find it funny that because I stated I was highly disappointed in the wig I purchased from this website they deleted my review. Well here we are again. I have no problem putting my review up here again. The quality of the wig its self was slightly decent when it comes to the feel and texture of the hair however I could not find the part in this wig like the picture shows and the other review that was posted. Also the wig looks like its missing hair in the front. Its clearly visible that this is a wig. Stick with buying at your local beauty stores. This is a beautiful wig at an unbelievable price. You can wear as is or curl it with hot curlers. The first one I purchased lasted about 6 months. I think it may have lasted longer but I like it curled. This recent purchase I bought two. The only altering I did to this wig was to shorten the sides and added elastic to the lace to give the edges a more realistic look and help hold in place. This wig will not disappoint. First of all, it looks nothing like the photo. It's going to need EXTENSIVE styling to even make it wearable. The bangs are sewn into the front of the wig in a very sloppy manner, and it feels like parts of the hair is melted or clumped together in the front. There's also hair placed in really awkward areas that don't want to lay flat anywhere because they've got nowhere to go. Doesn't even come with a wig cap, will need to purchase separately if I end up having to go with this.Tara

If you are an everyday wig wearer like I am, then I would not recommend this wig. I wanted to try it because I'd heard that it was similar to Angelica by Noriko but at a lower price point. I also wanted a basic cap/non lace front wig as an alternative to my more expensive Jon Renau wigs. First, let me say that I waited about a week after wearing this wig before writing this review. I ordered the color-walnut brown, which is a really nice warm brunette color with a hint of dark auburn (not highlights but blended together). The length is lovely, and the front doesn't fall on the face as much as the Angelica wigs do. It was nice and soft when I took it out of the box, but after 2 days of daily wear, it started to get really dry and scratchy as if I had been wearing it for months. Keep in mind, I only wear long wigs, so I am aware of all the extra care needed in order to make them last and to keep them in their best shape. A heavy amount of conditioning spray did get the wig feeling softer, but that only lasted a day and then it went right back to being scratchy. I even tried the Silicone spray, but that didn't help either. Also, after the 3rd day of wear, the permatease started to bunch up, making it so that the wig look really awkward on my head.Katherine C.
I ordered this again, as I loved the first one, in silky sand. I just send back second one, with photos, to show how defective it was, requesting postage refund too. It stuck up at the top, like a crew cut, brown roots. Hideous. Not like my first one. Customer service lady ,who SAW the photos, said it was supposed to be like that, to look natural. It was hideous! Defective. They did NOT reimburse me postage, for this very defective product. I am contacting BBB, and NEVER buying from this disreputable company ever again.
