I wore everyday for a couple of weeks when I first got it. Then, one day opened the oven door after pre-heating to 425 degrees and fried the front of the wig. I know better than to do this, but it just slipped my mind. I immediately ordered a replacement. It arrived in about 4 days and I have been enjoying ever since. No more cooking for me!! I ordered the wig in the color of my hair and also have the hair stocking about the same color. The hair is thin and the wefting might show thru if you are trying a color that isn't a close match. Otherwise, it is my new favorite!!
Have been wearing this wig for at least 8 yrs…and have tried many other styles, but this I’s my favorite and I keep returning. Have ordered MANY of this particular wig, and will continue. Am concerned though, that the colors are being clearanced….and hope this doesn’t mean that the style is on it’s way out. Would love to see this style in a lace front, and/or without the darker color in the back. I think many more customers would buy it.Sharri S.
As your records would show I have purchased many of this exact wig. When I got the first ones I was thrilled with them. They I would definitely have given 5 plus stars. Then I had purchased 2 more when I was concerned the others were wearing out. I thought they were horrible. Not as much hair on one side, colour was not what I had gotten before though the same number and I was planning on returning them but felt the shipping to return plus the shipping and duty I had already paid was not worth it so decided to donate to a women's group. Later I took another chance after complaining to this site and once again they were definitely not up to the standard of the original wigs. It seems to me the quality control was very poor and that because I didn't like them found myself wearing the old ones though they were showing their age. I needed shampoo and conditioner so thought I'd try one final time. Well these were better than the last four that were terrible but still not anywhere near the same standard as the originals. I can't believe that it's the same company creating them as the hair is so much faker than the originals I would love to purchase the ones I had bought the first while but while these I will have to wear when the old ones are simply worn out but will be searching for another site that possibly has this wig

I wanted to like this wig so much but it just doesn't work for me. The bangs are so heavy and still hang in my face despite taking to it with a steamer. The overall top layer of the piece is very heavy and looks so wiggy. My biggest complaint with Envy wigs is they have no attention to detail when it comes to hiding seams and the lace is very scratchy. The one thing Envy wigs do have going for them is the fibre is very realistic. So depending on your priorities this may or may not be the right piece for you.
I’ve been wearing Maya for two years during the Spring and Summer. Fall and Winter, I wear Brianna, also by Envy. What I’ve noticed about Maya, is that it’s definitely not as curly as pictured, rather, it’s more of a beach wave only. This is okay with me and it might be for you too; the only thing I can imagine is maybe I’ve not gotten a quality batch? If this is their new trend, I wouldn’t want you to be disappointed with the lack of curl.
This is a pic of me, immediately after opening the box containing my new wig Brooke! This hair is ready to wear! My only concern is that it’s SO long, that I know, a synthetic like this will end up frizzing & snarling at the ends. So, my thought was to have it cut down, so it’s still long, but not THIS long. I’ve been searching for anyone willing to cut a wig for 10 years, & haven’t found anyone in my city that would do so. For now, I’m wearing her as she is. This color is the lighter red, which is the closest I can get to my beloved former color by Raquel Welsh, Glazed Fire. While this red, is not as WOW on me, as the discontinued Glazed Fire, I still think it’s pretty great! The lace cap is a bit larger than my other Envy wig (Brittany), but, I’m finding that both the cap, AND the hair, are oddly superior to the MUCH more expensive Raquel synthetic AND human hair wigs! I’ve come to believe that with Raquel, I was paying for the label, rather than the quality of the hair or the entire wig! I’m now firmly an Envy fan! This is also a great wig to have, (if you’re someone who switches up theirs wig looks a lot), you will not find a wig that’s sexier and as stylish as Brooke! .Liza

This one did catch me by surprise. I always had the question: what if my Voltage was wavy or curly. This just hits that spot I crave of curls and wave all in a cute pixie style. If I don't feel like that, I simply smooth them down. It's easy to finger style, it's a shake and go, my favorite kind of hair. I am not as fond of the feel of the fibers as some of the other manufactures, but I don't feel that is worth taking a point off for. She is really cute, I never fail to get complements about my 'hair'.Taz's video describes it perfectly, plus the color is just as the video shows. Please be aware that the picture of the color 18/22 does not really accurately portray it.
I am pleased with my purchase of the Angelina synthetic wig. The color is vanilla cream. The wig fits good and has good coverage on the top, sides and back. I would recommend this wig for purchase. Not my favorite. In all due fairness, the color Pine Cone was too dark for my skin tone, and the wig is shorter then I prefer. So, basically I should have returned Kylie since I bought a wig that isn’t particularly flattering for me. However, even my husband (who rarely comments on my wigs), commented he felt the wig looked “wiggy”. I’ll be wearing this wig with a baseball cap when I go on my daily walks.

The overall top layer of the piece is very heavy and looks so wiggy. My biggest complaint with Envy wigs is they have no attention to detail when it comes to hiding seams and the lace is very scratchy. The one thing Envy wigs do have going for them is the fibre is very realistic. So depending on your priorities this may or may not be the right piece for you.

What I’ve noticed about Maya, is that it’s definitely not as curly as pictured, rather, it’s more of a beach wave only. This is okay with me and it might be for you too; the only thing I can imagine is maybe I’ve not gotten a quality batch? If this is their new trend, I wouldn’t want you to be disappointed with the lack of curl.

This color is the lighter red, which is the closest I can get to my beloved former color by Raquel Welsh, Glazed Fire. While this red, is not as WOW on me, as the discontinued Glazed Fire, I still think it’s pretty great! The lace cap is a bit larger than my other Envy wig (Brittany), but, I’m finding that both the cap, AND the hair, are oddly superior to the MUCH more expensive Raquel synthetic AND human hair wigs! I’ve come to believe that with Raquel, I was paying for the label, rather than the quality of the hair or the entire wig! I’m now firmly an Envy fan! This is also a great wig to have, (if you’re someone who switches up theirs wig looks a lot), you will not find a wig that’s sexier and as stylish as Brooke! .Liza

Beautiful wig in GL14/22SS. This blonde shade is perfect for my natural brunette skin tone (light to medium neutral leaning toward warm). It's not too warm, nor is it too cool, and it doesn't wash me out. I discovered Gabor recently and love the hairline and softly shaded roots of the shaded shades. The hair is soft and fine. This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Although I've never tried Raquel Welch's "Winner," Serving Style seems similar to the basic (non-Elite) version of that wig, with the addition of a lace front for off-the-face styling versatility. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. I absolutely adore this Gabor wig. I have chemical sensitivity and was almost certain I would not be able to wear a synthetic wig. I am overjoyed that it does not bother my skin !!! It not only looks great, but is so easy to finger style. I can wear it ‘parted’ in the middle or side. Both work beautifully. With hair loss, this wig is exactly what I needed!!!

I love this wig. It looks so natural, and so comfortable on. This is the only one I ever wear. The first time I cut my hair short this was the style I had. So, when I started wearing this wig no one thought anything. They just thought I went back to my short style and love it. It is so easy to maintain. Like the straight look in front, like the layering in back; however, at the very bottom in back, the synthetic fibers or strands should have a curl and not straight effect. After wearing during the day, when look at the bottom, the strands are sticking out and have a messy look. Having hairdresser to try to correct problem in back on bottom.
The wig length and fullness were not well suited for me. The synthetic hair seemed both shorter and less thick than described, especially in the crown area where really needed to make the wig look more like site images and product description. The color was nice, and as expected. The cap fit, but barely. It was difficult to align the sides/ear tabs well enough to allow a fit good enough to make it look more like my natural hair than a wig. Additionally, the right side was shorter, and due to the fit issue I was not inclined to having it trimmed to see if that would improve the look.Sheryl

After a hysterectomy & menopause that followed resulting in 1/4 of my hair gradually thinning and trying every supplement including PRP treatments I realized preserving the hair I had was the focus, since after 5yrs and thousands of dollars later, the hair that had thinned was not going to grow back. I work in the medical field, at an Oncology / Bone Marrow Transplant Center so the topic of wigs is something I'm very familiar with. Many of the patients I work with rave about Jon Ranau wigs so I figured I'd give that brand a try. I've purchased a couple so far to ensure I have a new backup always on hand and plan to venture into other styles & colors but so far I'm extremely pleased with the quality of the cap/top & synthetic hair, style & color and it's so easy to maintain!
The wig was already thinning in the front when I got it and I can't hide this with bio hair because the lace is too long (can't cut the lace because it is the only thing gripping the front, there are no clips). I don't recommend this piece for people with small/low foreheads, maybe if you are completely bald with no bio hair it might work for you but not if you have pale skin because the knots are very dark and the lace is tan. I tried to straighten the hair on low heat and it made a melting smell, I question if all the hair is real. The cap is also extremely itchy and the lace is not soft (because the lace grips) so it is uncomfortable when it sits on my forehead. I would need to sew in clips and then seal off the lace so it doesn't unravel when trimmed, but for $2000 I would expect this to be of better quality. I own many wigs and hair toppers, I am always disappointed in Jon Renau but I took a risk because I liked the color. The Jon Renau brand is not carried much anymore because their pieces are just not worth the price. I am just going to have to stick with Uniwigs because at least I know what to expect and they are keeping up with the trends for comfort and affordability.LS
The hair piece is nicely made and the color was spot-on. I really, really wanted to like this wig. My overall problem was the style… and was in a few of the reviews I had read prior. The front part was over bearing and so much so that it wouldn't stay out of my face…. almost like there was too much hair. While I didn't try to style the piece or trim to see if that would make a difference (didn't want to do anything in case I returned, which I did), so it's possible I could have made it work. But I just couldn't get past the front portion of the wig and all the volume; I couldn't figure out what to do with it! I am not new to hair pieces, wigs and extension pony-tails so I am aware that some effort is-or-might be necessary, etc., but it simply just looked fake on me. I only deducted 1 Star because it might have been fixable but $300.++ I didn't want to take that chance so I returned. But overall, the wig is pretty and the cap is comfy. Good luck!Susie

I've owned many Gabor Wigs – but this… this one was absolutely horrid! The quality of hair fibers were rough, tough and frizzy. Purchased this because I liked the layers and feathered sides. But the wig I received had no shape or style to it – the hair was sticking up and was all over the place. It looked like someone tried thinning it -there were weird spots where it was thin and in other spots it was thick. Also, it is shorter than the picture. I am seriously displeased and disappointed with this wig! I can't even send it back because I desperately tried to get the wig to hold some sort of neat shape using styling cream (totally unsuccessful…). I'm glad I got this on sale and didn't pay full price! Gabor Wigs – if this is your new "standard" you are going to lose a long time and faithful customer – PLEASE improve your quality control!! This one did catch me by surprise. I always had the question: what if my Voltage was wavy or curly. This just hits that spot I crave of curls and wave all in a cute pixie style. If I don't feel like that, I simply smooth them down. It's easy to finger style, it's a shake and go, my favorite kind of hair. I am not as fond of the feel of the fibers as some of the other manufactures, but I don't feel that is worth taking a point off for. She is really cute, I never fail to get complements about my 'hair'.Taz's video describes it perfectly, plus the color is just as the video shows. Please be aware that the picture of the color 18/22 does not really accurately portray it.
I am pleased with my purchase of the Angelina synthetic wig. The color is vanilla cream. The wig fits good and has good coverage on the top, sides and back. I would recommend this wig for purchase. Not my favorite. In all due fairness, the color Pine Cone was too dark for my skin tone, and the wig is shorter then I prefer. So, basically I should have returned Kylie since I bought a wig that isn’t particularly flattering for me. However, even my husband (who rarely comments on my wigs), commented he felt the wig looked “wiggy”. I’ll be wearing this wig with a baseball cap when I go on my daily walks.

This is a very sleek low density wig…no permatease on top..but starting above the ears permatease goes all the way around the wig..this is what gives it that rounded shape…I need some lift on top so this style didn't flatter me. If you are looking for a very sleek low density style with razored edges that are very light and feathery in the front On Edge would be great for you. The On Edge is the 10th wig I have purchased and the first from Gabor. I ordered it in Shadow Shade Honey Toast (GL14/16SS). The wig is beautifully made and the lace front is very well done, but I was very disappointed with the style. Their marketing photos completely misrepresent the style of this wig. I purchased it as I thought it would have an angled edgy look as shown in their photos. This wig is NOT either of those things. I am not saying that it's not a pretty or flattering wig on my head…it is, but it's not what I thought I was getting. Normally I always look at multiple YouTube video's prior to purchasing my hairpieces, but there just wasn't much out there on this particular style since it was so new. After seeing a review on YouTube on this wig I decided to go for it and omg I love this wig. I trimmed it to fit my personal preference but otherwise she's perfect. Looks like real hair so much that even someone that know I wear wigs though it was my real hair that I just got done. She couldn't believe i was wearing a wig. The Faux scalp it great. The texture is realistic to realistic hair. The colors are so beautifully mixed and natural looking. Doesn't look like a wig does usually with highlights how they are usually symmetrical straightened across. I'm in love with this one. Definitely reccomend!Bri

I absolutely adore this wig, in fact I’m ordering another one because I love it so much. I wouldn’t pay full price for this wig ($75) but at less than $40 it’s definitely worth it. It looks so real! I get compliments every time I wear it. I will say tho, it does tangle pretty bad at the back, but very little shedding and it’s super thick and the texture is perfect.Aj
