I got this from somewhere else and color was wrong so I returned it; now that I’ve found the correct RW color for me, I may reorder. I’d do ANYTHING to find this EXACT style, fiber, cap but maybe an inch or two longer on the nape. Not sure I can carry off that shoulder. But the fibers felt real, the amount of hair felt real and I LOVE the front of the cap – you can pull a little bio hair out and it looks great. I know most people love lace fronts but I hate them – they’re beautiful but horribly itchy and unpleasant and you can’t pull out bio hair. Very hard to find mono caps without lace fronts. This one was SO comfortable. Just need a tiny bit more length. Definitely sold on HF fibers, feel SOOOO much more realistic. Tough journey for me so far but I’m learning.LJT

Do NOT go by the stock photos for this wig. They're so unflattering compared to what it really looks like. Instead look at all of the photos of the beautiful ladies that left reviews. They're more accurate and you can see many different ways that this can be worn. This is much like a straighter version of the Maximum Impact but a little shorter. I have both and will enjoy switching up my style between the two. Super easy to adjust the part if you want to but it's honestly great where it is. The color is amazing and this looks so close to how my real hair used to be that no one has noticed that I'm even wearing a wig. It's pretty comfy and is my second Raquel Welch. Be prepared for MANY compliments when you wear Simmer. I ordered the RL19/23 Biscuit shade and am in love with it. The way the blonde colors are blended together makes this wig so dynamic. The lace front is truly the "best of the best" on the market. There are icy blonde highlights "growing" out of the lace front and along the temples of this wig. It looks so natural, like you just spent hundreds at a salon on highlights. Out of the many wigs I've ordered, this is my first (but definitely not last) Raquel Welch wig. The fibers and the cap are the softest I've put on my head. My scalp is extremely sensitive due to a prior brain surgery, so the comfort of this wig is what will drive me to purchase a few more Raquel Welch wigs. I've worn Jon Renau, Noriko, and Rene of Paris and while I do like the wigs from those brands, the RW line is a step above. As a note of encouragement to you ladies, I'm almost 50. I own about 5 of these wigs from work mode brown to night out purple and I love them. No cap needed, at least for me. I use a wig grip, and no glue. The cap itself is adjustable and it has combs in it to hold in place. Even with some of the Wild colors, people have asked where I get my hair done. And you can't beat the price. I had purchased this wig off of amazon, I was a little upset that it was labeled a “Lace Front” because when it arrived it was not. BUT the quality is more than amazing, you could easily play around with the part a little bit pluck out some hair around the hair line, give it a trim whatever you please!! The length is perfect, one thing I will say is it does shed a bit which is normal with synthetic wigs. It says you can use LOW heat but when I tried freshening up some curls it wouldn’t curl at all. I have bought a couple different wigs from this brand. The hair feels nice but I have not gotten lace front wigs from them. I have gotten their simulated scalp which is apparently supposed to look natural but it definitely does not. I will probably order from them again but I would have to read the reviews and pay close attention because I think sometimes the advertising can be a little unclear as to whether they are lace fronts or not. The product itself is beautiful. Very well done with the exception of the extremely long nape and the thick silicone padding. You better hope the silicone works, because with it you have no other options to make your wig stay down. Neither tape nor glue will stick to that silicone. The only option is to wear a wig band and if you do that, you will have to pull the already too long nape even further down the back of you neck. I'm also disappointed in the extremely limited amount of tips and info on cutting and caring for men's wigs. I suppose this is because the idea of men wearing wigs is still a new phenomonon, but if a site sells them, the site should strive to do better to help the customer get info on styling, cutting, etc. I have bought two of these units, and I plan to continue to buy because through much trial and error I have finally figured out how to make it work for me. This process required me to basically ruin the first wig which was expensive, but at least I figured everything out with it so I'll know just what to do with subsequent wigs. I would give this product 5 stars if the manufacturer would shorten the nape in the back, and do something else other than the thick silicone padding.Thank you.

I was ill when the order arrived. So my neighbor got it for me and said the box was ripped. I took pictures when I got it from her. My hair is mostly brown with some gray. The wigs were mostly gray and, even after shaking, looked nothing like what I had ordered. I also ordered a bamboo wig cap and brush and comb set. They were NOT included in the box or, may have fallen out or been taken out, due to the rips!! It also looked like someone had retapped the box, as the tape was a different type. VERY disappointed. 🥲Susan
I love the wig. Bought it to replace my real hair that I lost during chemo. Very realistic and lightweight for summer. I can actually put it up in a clip like I could with my real hair. Some reviews stated the hair was too thin but I think they think that because it's layered. Actually, that's why I like it so much. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because I had to wait four weeks to receive it and I was unaware of this until I called PY to find out why it was taking so long. I was not aware when I ordered it. However, I'm a happy camper now!Angela
The Long Color Me Beautiful is a pretty style. It is no way as curly as it looks in the picture which was fine with me. It has softer waves. I have worn it several times, but now I find that the style has loosened up and has lost it's shape. I have ordered three wigs at a time and each one has a slightly different styling. I have worn PY wigs since 2003 and they no longer seem to hold up as well. I also wish they had more styles in the petite size. The average is much too large for me. Evidently PY thinks that people with smaller heads or thinner hair should only wear neck-line or short wigs as those are the only styles that come in petite.Bobbie
