Online reviewers seem to be avoiding this wig or making a big deal about how much permatease there is in it, so I was a little nervous about ordering it. But it turned out to look really cute on me, and I appreciate how the fullness on top balances out some of my facial features (and my large glasses), while the shag style also gives me some length in back. The melted marshmallow color looks good, too, although the pale tips aren't as obvious as they would be on a straighter, less layered style like Alva or Kai. The dark root does a good job of camouflaging the permatease at the part. The wig is also remarkably light and breathable. I think the fit is just a little on the petite side of average – I'm just over 21.5 inches in circumference with close-shaved hair, and it fits fine without taking in the adjusters. There seems to be a decent amount of stretch if you're larger than me, so it may work for someone up to 22 inches, or someone with more hair than me. I should note that Storm wasn't a true "shake & go" wig out of the box. The ends in back weren't always as flippy as the photos showed, and some of the bangs stuck straight out in front, even after misting with water. I used a steamer on the bangs to get them to lie where I wanted them and will eventually work on the flipped ends in back. I'd be more annoyed at this if I'd paid a lot more money, but I'm willing to accept a certain amount of work on my part for a basic cap at an affordable price point. All in all, I'm quite happy with my purchase, and I would encourage others who may be curious about this wig to check it out. Just be aware that it might not be perfect right out of the box and may need some work to look its best on you (work that should only be performed *after* you've determined you want to keep the wig).Patricia L.

I ordered this in creamy toffee rooted after having it in mochachino. Somehow it looked better in the darker color. It's a beautiful wig if you can pin down the sides near the top, reducing the retro looking volume. I think this style is best suited for someone more statuesque. It's cute but it looks dated on me. At last, something for us edgy girls that doesn't look like a clone of the 4 or 5 (with slight variances) mainstay styles that seem to dominate the wig market. I currently have around a dozen units in my collection and Tessa doesn't look anything like any of them, mainly due to the extreme A line cut. If that level of extremity doesn't suit you, Tessa could easily be cut to a shorter, more blended and more conservative A line. This style definitely falls over the right eye, Veronica Lake style, just like in the manufacturers photo and I'm not sure it could be trained otherwise. Hair in my eyes makes me nuts, but the problem was easily solved by either tucking a bit behind the right ear or by a few hidden bobby pins. I purchased Tessa in one of the colors shown in the manufacturers photos (Illumina) and it's a gorgeous neutral silver with a slight lavender undertone and a very very dark root. If you're not up for an almost black root, this color is not for you. That being said, the almost black and white effect from the color/root contrast is beautifully edgy and totally on point trend wise, as is the cut. The single mono wide part is nicely done and the knots are virtually invisible. Tessa has enough hair to make it full looking (but not too much) and the ubiquitous 'Noriko Bump' at the crown has been dialed down a notch or 6. The curl pattern is GORGEOUS and splits the difference between an out and out curly wig and a 'beachy wave'. The fiber is soft, but not so soft that it will frizz and/or tangle easily. I give this 4 rather than 5 stars because due to the hard right side part I would have liked to see a lace front and I really prefer the double monotops that RoP offers in the Amore line.siobhan.mcelwee
I absolutely love this wig even though the color doesn’t suit me but I was absolutely devastated to find out that the cut of this wig is asymmetrical, meaning it was very short at the back and nice and long at the front. Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s a lovely hairstyle, but I certainly did not expect it since it wasn’t mentioned in the wig description. I wanted a more or less even length all the way around. I’ll be donating this wig unfortunately but for the right person, it truly is a stunning wig – very good quality.Tyra
