I mainly purchased this unit because I wanted a little more length at the top. When I first purchased the Mommy wig before it became super popular a few years ago it was constructed so much better. It's thin in the front with tracks sewn weirdly. I had my original to compare. They mostly look like rush jobs. I thought the Mommy II would be better and closer to the original. It has longer lengths on each side which is what I was looking for. However the cap is bigger than the regular mommy wig and I found it too hard to work with. I trimmed the edges and dyed it and it looked nice but I have a small head so I found it just too awkward. I will stick with the Mommy original for a short style. Its not as snug of a fit and I couldn't make it work. Not a bad wig if you have a medium to large head but not really for small heads. Though it depends how you wear it.C M.
Didn't Use It. I love the Mommy Wig but I've gotten it in 4/30, 4/24 and 4/27/30 No one has these colors, but I trust and used Ebonyline always. I ordered this hopping that the color would work. I ordered two of these wig styles. I wore the gray one to a mother's day brunch. As I was standing by my car, a lady called out Madia as she was passing by in her car. This wig is awful! I wanted a wig that looks like natural hair and on that point, the wig wins. Sadly, there are no other wins for it. The lace is extremely poor quality because there is no way to camouflage it. I used powder, I used concealer, I used my liquid foundation but nothing works. I wore the wig and was very embarrassed because you could see the lace at the center of my hairline. No amount of products used would hide it. Also, the hair gets puffy! The couple of times I wore it, by the end of the day, it was 'big'. I put product in it a couple of times to calm it down, but that did not seem to help. This purchase was an epic fail!! The wig I got came with a huge bald spot in the front. When I tried to return it for an exchange, I was told it wasn’t in new/unused condition. The only thing I did was take the wig out of the box and I still had the two cardboard pieces that cane in the box all of which I shipped back. This is the WORST service I have ever received from an online store. It obvious that customers actually being able to use the product that they payed $40 of their money for isn’t a concern to this company. Bought this piece because of the reviews online. They were pretty spot on so far. The curls are very bouncy, pretty, and full. I have only worn her once and received lots of compliments. My only qualm is the amount of hair. I had to do a little thinning before I felt it looked good. But even though there is a lot of hair, the piece is very light weight which has been true to other reviews. I don't use the combs but it has ample head room, big head friendly; and comes with a long comb up front and a smaller one in back along with two adjustable straps, pretty standard these days. I didn't do much fluffing of the curls because one that I cut out, I pulled it loose and separated it. The bouncy curl really pulled out to a loose wave. I won't mind that after a few more wears. The color was spot on to my hair color. I bought a #2. After wearing the half wig, I wish I had gotten the full wig instead. I just think the curls, after they drop or are pulled out, will be nicer on the full wig. It was a great purchase thus far and I do recommend it especially for those that have the creativity to do many styles with a half wig. I actually purchased some #2 braid hair, braided a long section, then used it as a braided head band over the front of the piece. Hopefully I can get some good, long wear out of is but that is TBD. Very pleased with the quality of the wig especially for the price $25. I usually buy preplucked lacefronts at around $60 and so this is a great beautiful wig for learning customizing even though it doesn’t need tons but if your a novice at that like me. It’s very light weight on my head. The density and hair thickness are perfect for believeable daily wear. Now it’s synthetic shiny so it definitely needs dry shampoo. Optional foundation for the hairline and optional plucking but the hairline looks pretty darn good without it so that’s just to up it a notch to believability. I’ve enclosed pics straight from out of the box to display OP430 in natural lighting. I’m blonde so this also is a great price/wig to try really different colors without dreading wasting big $$$. 👍🏻 love it. Worth getting.vanessa.c
I bought 4 packs of black and 1 pack of the deep wine, but since I have my sides and back shaved then of course I have plenty of locs left over (and I'm glad that I do). Usually I'll do my faux locs myself by starting with Senegalese twists then by rapping them which, of course, would take forever so this was my first using crochet locs. They are definitely springy, but beware because if they get tugged at the ends on accident then they will just hang and not spring back. I already had to cut some ends because of such actions. Also, I noticed some were not made as well as others, so make sure you get an extra pack. Some were "puffy" so my hair isn't hiding as well as it should be (I did individual crocheting). I do love the look though but removed a star based of said flaws. I took another star off because the website was being glitchy. I used the website via my phone and when trying to add stuff other than the locs, my whole cart would be emptied. It did this several times, so I just gave up and only purchased the locs. When I went to purchase the locs, the total jumped by $1, which is no big deal because it was just a dollar but the fact that it jumped like that concerned me. But at the end of the day, I would recommend and use this hair again. It did get frizzy and snaggy the second day but nothing major yet. Also, I noticed the deep wine holds up better than the black. The only way this wig could be any better was if it just lasted a tad longer and if the curl pattern never fell. It looks more realistic as the curls fall, but it dries at the ends and will eventually need to be straightened, perhaps trimmed or cut and then converted to bun or workout hair. In the meantime though, you get MAD compliments – many people don't even realize its not my bio hair. I wear it regularly in 1B and recently switched to OP61327 (613 Platinum blonde ombre with 1B roots and strategically placed 27 and/or 30 for dimension and shine). I absolutely love it – I'm a whole different person. Only thing that Freetress could offer any better was if this colour came in Karissa's length and density. Additionally the back piece is huge and doesn’t sit on the back of my head right. It feel like a large hat is fallIng off my head in the back. Even when I put my ponytail to the front of my head, the back piece feels so big and baggy. I just wear the ponytail and not the back piece. I purchased in color 1 which is super black and wore with a headband since my edges are not super black (1b is more natural black). These up/down 4-n-1’s are real convenient. Love the texture of UD11…reminds me of a relaxer or press blowout – it’s real soft with body and fullness, but lightweight with a realistic sheen. When I wear the 1b color people think it’s all my hair. I’m trying the burgundy and copper colors to see if I like as much as the darker tones. Minimal shedding typical for synthetic hair. The wrap ponytail has combs, but I added small self-adhesive velcro tabs to keep it extra secure. This site had the lowest price +discounts…it’s worth adding to your collection!Erica B.

This is a great beginners lace front wig! I am not a wig wearer but saw this on an IG page and tried for moths to order and finally caught it in stock! It is easy to install and looks very similar to my natural hair blown out and flat ironed just fuller which is why I like it! The wig cap is large so it will fit larger heads, which is bit of a con for me. I wig horizontally is too large or too long for my head so the lace on each side covers my ears. (I don't believe I have a small head). If I tuck it behind it is rather uncomfortable even after adjusting the clips and band adjuster inside the cap. I tried curling the hair at 400 degrees and it straightened it instead, could be user error though. Overall, the wig looks and feels great for the price. I'm not sure if the wig could be washed but for the price it may not be worth washing when you can just buy a new one! It is not an everyday wig if you are a newbie at wearing wigs. It can become quite uncomfortable after a few hours. I purchased this wig from a different site, but wanted to leave a review here as well since this was the first site I looked for the wig and the other site no longer has it. After watching numerous reviews on outre's revamping of the Neesha I decided I would have to color my hair to match the units til I found the ffmidnight gray that matches my hair perfectly. I like it! especially that it's short and synthetic, it's soft, lots of curls and the nape and sides are tapered. It has some versatility, I can either pull the curls more towards my face or wear the curls off the face, that's what I'm doing right now. I suggest you play with it and make it your own. I was thinking about cutting down some of the length in the front but I just don't know yet. I have received so many complements on this unit. I think it's bigger head friendly, I had to adjust the straps for my head The only thing I don't like is the combs,it's 2 in the front and one in the back , I don't use them but overall I'm very pleased with this unit and the price was good too.Leah T.
I am beginning to wonder if the reason orders from Ebony on Line take so long to fulfill is because the wigs are sitting in hot shipping containers for months on the high seas.. giving new meaning to a "slow boat from China." Jenna is the second wig in a six-wig order that appears to be dry rot. I wore this wig one time and styled it with my fingers only. I took it off and put it back into the original bag a week ago for storage. I put Jenna on this morning and two tracks are hanging out like some cheap eyelashes. What a waste of money!Rose

I got this in a 99J. The color is so pretty and the curls are gorgeous this is one of my top five favorite wigs. It is curling synthetic wig so it tangles at the nape of the neck. Also the swoop of hair in the front hangs in my eyes unless I use a bobby pin, isn't a big deal. In this picture I haven't cut the lace close enough. I cut it closer and now the hairline looks very natural. However, for me, the pre style the wig comes in is way too young. I'm a 50 year old woman and a ponytail style like this makes me look like an overweight, elderly Pebbles Flintstone. It's not a cute look on me. But I knew the wig would work and once it's taken down. There are some younger women this style would look adorable on. I would buy this wig again..Sherry L.
