While I ordered both these wigs thinking they were short and medium density hair, I was disappointed on both counts! Risk was a total failure and Tab was like a rooster costume with a mound of hair on top that looked ridiculous! I looked at the men's wigs trying to get a really short hair wig but they don't come in blond hair. So far, it's been a total disappointment, not to speak of the nearly $60 they charged me for returning a wig (Tab) what was in my hands and head less than 15 minutes! After having tried several other wigs, I chose the Tab in the Salt/Pepper Rooted style. I loved the fact that it didn't have too much hair which makes it look more natural on me. I love the color on me. I love the style and the flexibility I have with the Lace Front . What I don't love is that it's just a smidgen too small, I feel. Even though my head measures for a Petite, I guess I prefer an Average size fit as one of my other wigs, in a Raquel Welch style is much more comfortable for me to wear. I also find this Lace Front to be a bit scratchy. This would be the perfect wig and style for me IF the fit were better and the Lace Front a little softer. I received Tempo 100 in Sand Mix on June 4th 2019. This is a very nice wig; the quality is obvious. Low density; lays flat. Absolutely NO poof! Color is fine; though Sand Mix has a bit more ashy tone than I’d like. Regrettably, I'm going to return Tempo 100 – the cap is just too big. The ear-tabs can be pulled down over half of my ears. It fits nicely then, but it’s not feasible to wear it like that… Might try again sometime in the future. (Assuming of course that the one I received was a one-off. I'm an Average boarding on Large cap size, and the Average I ordered should not have been too big…)
I had this wig cut a little to frame my face and just a little off the length. I have worn it every day since receiving it a few weeks ago. This wig is my new favorite. The thing I love about synthetic hair is that is is so easy to take care of and unlike a natural hair wig I don't have to worry about getting caught in the rain or take time to hot iron it etc. You just put it on and in a few seconds your ready to go. I love this wig. So far the cap has not stretched and there is no frizzing at the nap of the neck. I wear it an average of 15 hours a day some times longer. It is a very nice quality wig and just the right amount of hair. I have a small head and face and this wig fits pretty good.. I get complements on my hair practically every day! I have worn my 1st one that I ordered in the Sandy blond for almost 6 months for 12 to 15 hours every day. I ordered another one not because I needed to but because I wanted to order another one in case it was discontinued since it hasn't had great reviews. I still love this wig. The cap is a very light weight so I am very comfortable wearing it. It does not look wiggy at all and even people that wear a wig compliment me on my hair not knowing it is a wig. I have to depend on wearing wigs because I have what is called Lichen Planopilaris which is a scarring alopecia. YES it is a thinner wig but really has just the right amount of hair and that is the very thing that makes it look so Natural. It has not frizzed at all. The hair is still very nice. I have a small head and a petite size in this wig would probably fit perfect but I don't have a problem with this one staying in place. I will keep wearing this wig for as long as they continue to make it. If they replace it I hope it is with another one that is similar with the same amount of hair!!!!! It has been over 15 years since I had a human hair wig. I tried one previously and it was I’ll fitting and looked very unnatural. This wig, however, fits comfortably (it’s honestly still slightly larger than what I’d love and I just mention that in case anyone is nervous hearing that it is more on the petite side. I wish it were more petite!). I do, however, love the amount of hair in Cascade. It’s thickness looks very natural. The fibers tangle too easily. I can't do anything without this wig tangling and matting in a weird way. It's embarrassing to me and now I have to replace it after only 2 months of wear. I've tried conditioners in hopes of coating the fibers and reducing friction, but it doesn't last even a whole day. I have been impressed with the construction of the cap. Considering I have to brush the wig out many times throughout the day, I'm surprised that the crown hasn't thinned badly. Many wigs come already too thin in the crown, but not this one. The Chocolate Mix color is nice. Other wig brands use fibers (heat friendly and otherwise) that can be smoothed every day or two with a straightener on low heat. Frizziness is not the issue with this wig. It just can't handle friction.Carrie E.
I'm a big fan of Elite, which will always be my favorite EW style. The cut on this one is great and similiar to elite but with more face framing layers in the front which very modern. The hair so silky and such a natural looking density. I'm having a hard time though with the colors. Not sure if they changed the colors but cannot find hot chocolate mix my go to for elite and few other older styles, in the newer styles. Also, the same color in different collections look somewhat different. I purchased this in dark chocolate mix and starting wearing it recently and don't see too much highlights, granted i haven't washed it yet, for some reason that makes a difference sometimes in the fiber. I have amina in the same color and although a rich brown you can see all of the highlights, this has more of a inky look, I can wear easily as my eyes are very dark and my coloring is okay with it. I definitely love this style, and will someday down the road when i can get a good deal try the chocolate shaded. This wig is a bit out of my budget so cannot buy full price at the moment.Jen G.

I ordered this in the Salt Pepper Mix. I really like the color. I some what like the style. It is too long and looks like you really need a trim at the nap of your neck. The quality problem is the same problem I have seen with three Ellen Wille wigs I ordered. There are little short hairs sticking up all over the back of the crown area or in the case of Cara 100 Deluxe wig the short straight hairs were sticking out all over the top. Another complaint, is that the picture here on the website is very inaccurate. In the red haired picture, that wig has been cut in the back. Wigs should not be altered in pictures for advertising a wig. I like that Ellen Wille wigs do not have excessive permatease and the cap being an petite/average fits me better than average sizes. But these quality issues are costing me a lot of money when you have to return the wig. Unfortunately, I don't have a wig store near me where I could try on wigs.
I ordered this wig in two colors, hoping that it was a bit more wavy to curly style with natural density on top. I was kinda hoping for the love child between Ellen Wille Arrow and Girl Mono. I was going on stock pictures and youtube reviews, but in reality it has a very choppy, strongly layered cut, and no real waves or curls. I had to brush these wigs with a regular "forbidden" kind of hairbrush instead of a wide tooth comb, to make the hair come together, instead of each lock of hair being super pieced out, doing their own thing. It also has a bit of permatease on one side of the part, and that kind of increased in volume during the day that I've worn her. For my head and face shape (large), permatease isn't a good idea. So… for me personally it's not a winner. However, if you need that extra bit of volume on top, you will LOVE this! If you like choppy layers and playfulness, but not really want to go for full curls or beach waves, this is a yes! Quality of hair is amazing and the cap is super comfortable. Lace front on Ellen Wille is one of the best in the industry in my opinion.Lea S.
Wish I had bought this piece first. Wore it right out of box. Professionally cut, realistic density and very fine denier. Hairline is undetectable. With hand tying too, It’s the most natural piece I have. Mine is champagne mix, it is close in shade to RW shaded biscuit, Henry Margu 10/613GR, and maybe JR’s Palm Springs Blond? Ellen Wille’s shade is a nice blend for most any med to ash blonde or for someone whose blonde is beginning to gray. No gold really. Not shiny. Very nice length. I still have a lot of hair length and that is the only challenge with me wearing this one since it is designed to fit with very little to no hair. I am making it work tucking my hair flat under wig cap. My bio hair has thinned to point that I need more hair to look normal again. I’m a petite/med? I have been on the search for a wig I feel comfortable in for years. This one pretty much fits the bill. It shapes my face perfectly ( I have a rounded face with high cheekbones). A few points. This wig is light and the color is phenomenal. The wig is small, and I have a small head, so a wig cap under it is essential. I found that the wig looked best worn slightly below my hairline. I initially wore it at the hairline and it looked "off", but found by shifting it forward it lined up better with my ears and forehead. The wig lays flat because of the monofilament, but a little bit of gel ( made for synthetic hair) and you can tousle the hair. Looks very real.Julia B.

My Push Up fits my small head well. I'm not crazy about the color, Champagne Mix. It's more of a "honey blonde" and I liked my Sky in Light Honey rooted, better. I just prefer a lighter blonde, but this will be a nice change. The style is cute and with a tiny bit of thinning on the crown, looks very cute. The back has some nice texture and flips. The sides and bangs are the perfect length for me. I only gave it a 4 because it's not my favorite wig, yet. The nape is the right length and not too short. Still searching for a textured look with a 2 1/2 inch crown and a youthful look. Most wigs come with far too much hair and are never great to wear "right out of the box".Carolyn L.
I love the Elle Wille wigs for their thinner hair. It feels so real and has wonderful movement. I always had fine hair so this is very natural to me where others are too thick and look and feel "wiggy". This style is my new favorite. I love the shake and go look. I ordered mango-rooted and I am already looking forward to eventually owning this style in several colors. This style truly is great out of box. The coloring of wig is as beautiful as promised. The Push Up wig is cute and sassy but it does not have blended layering as pictured. It is much more choppy and blunt cut throughout the wig which is OK if you want a spiky look and I don't mind that. But I would rather it had been more blended layers then if I wanted to spike it up I could do so with product, however it is a cute style.

I have extremely thin hair and wanted to try a wig just for something to throw on for days when I wanted to go somewhere and not have to fuss with my hair. I ordered the Mocca Mix and it was so close to my normal color it was perfect, it was still a but to much hair for me on the top but I think once I wash it and adjust it a bit and maybe just have it thinned a bit it will be perfect! I also love that you can part it on either side. My husband even thought it looked great and was actually the one who talked me in to keeping it because I was on the fence at first. The petite/average was perfect for me as I ordered a different wig that had way too much hair and was an average and was way to big even adjusting that I had to send back, I did have to pay shipping to send back but the company is upfront about that, I have not received my refund yet but they just got it back a couple days ago so as of now I would have no hesitation of ordering from this company and shipping was great! If anything changes with my return I will be sure to update this as I left all the tags and everything on the wig as required and tried it on with a wig cap and knew right away I did not like it on me.Dev
Bernstein mix is what’s pictured. But I also have mocca mix and chocolate mix. But it’s the perfect amount of hair usually there is always a ton too much in everything that I have to thin everything out but for me I started with an average amount of VERY fine hair. It only had to be split in 3 sections to flatiron all of it. Great for someone who isn’t used to having a ton of hair. Perfect for me. Closest to what my hair was I’ve been able to findMarilyn S.

I have this wig and while the picture presented was (almost) exactly what I wanted this wig in actuality is not quite as curly or as layered. Also what curl it had upon arrival did not last that long. I do love the fact that the fibers are very natural looking – not too shiny and the color {I purchased the dark chocolate} is quite beautiful. I do love the top and front bangs. I was really excited to receive CAT by Ellen Wille as I adored the pictures and also because I LOVE my Ellen Wille MOVIE wig I. The same color (Tobacco Mix). Both of these wigs look beautiful in the product pictures and videos. However, comparatively, CAT was much darker than MOVIE, even though they were the same color. MOVIE fit me like the product pictures but CAT did not. CAT was longer & much bulkier on sides & back than seen in the product pictures. The top & sides being so was bulky & the curls a bit hard to tame but yet the bangs quite sparse lacking volume and shape. I chose EW specifically for the smaller size and because they are known for more realistic density but I did not find that true of CAT. Overall, I love. EW and I recognize not all wigs will be a perfect match for everyone. I do sincerely wish that EW would provide better color choices for each wig and also more consistent color choices between wigs. I've returned CAT and would like to exchange for another EW that I can realistically alternate with my MOVIE wig in Tobacco Mix…but I'm having a terrible time due to lack of colors (lack of tobacco mix or similar shades) in styles that I could alter ate with MOVIE (maybe a shaggy bob?). Overall, EW lacks color choices and is very lacking in auburn shades which disappoints me so much. With more color choices, I'd be a loyal EW customer but as it stands I have to choose other manufacturers that don't fit me as well becStephanie

I need to explain the 3 rating. I took it to my hairdresser and we worked with it but it simply is not a good wig for me. The quality is good and well, everything about wig was quality but just looked like a wig on me. I have ordered 4 wigs and will continue to order. This one was just not a good one for me. It has been over 15 years since I had a human hair wig. I tried one previously and it was I’ll fitting and looked very unnatural. This wig, however, fits comfortably (it’s honestly still slightly larger than what I’d love and I just mention that in case anyone is nervous hearing that it is more on the petite side. I wish it were more petite!). I do, however, love the amount of hair in Cascade. It’s thickness looks very natural. I’m currently in the process of having a Freedom Wig created and an thrilled to have this beautiful hair while I wait for it!Ariel H.
The fibers tangle too easily. I can't do anything without this wig tangling and matting in a weird way. It's embarrassing to me and now I have to replace it after only 2 months of wear. I've tried conditioners in hopes of coating the fibers and reducing friction, but it doesn't last even a whole day. I have been impressed with the construction of the cap. Considering I have to brush the wig out many times throughout the day, I'm surprised that the crown hasn't thinned badly. Many wigs come already too thin in the crown, but not this one. The Chocolate Mix color is nice. Other wig brands use fibers (heat friendly and otherwise) that can be smoothed every day or two with a straightener on low heat. Frizziness is not the issue with this wig. It just can't handle friction.Carrie E.
I'm a big fan of Elite, which will always be my favorite EW style. The cut on this one is great and similiar to elite but with more face framing layers in the front which very modern. The hair so silky and such a natural looking density. I'm having a hard time though with the colors. Not sure if they changed the colors but cannot find hot chocolate mix my go to for elite and few other older styles, in the newer styles. Also, the same color in different collections look somewhat different. I purchased this in dark chocolate mix and starting wearing it recently and don't see too much highlights, granted i haven't washed it yet, for some reason that makes a difference sometimes in the fiber. I have amina in the same color and although a rich brown you can see all of the highlights, this has more of a inky look, I can wear easily as my eyes are very dark and my coloring is okay with it. I definitely love this style, and will someday down the road when i can get a good deal try the chocolate shaded. This wig is a bit out of my budget so cannot buy full price at the moment.Jen G.
