This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT
Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. I just wish I had discovered wigs many years ago when I started losing my bio hair would have saved me many tears when I was buying every product out there to get my hair back. I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

I now own three Flirt Alert wigs, this is my absolute favorite for several reasons. I wear my wigs every day, all day. I need a wig that holds up well to daily use. I find the tangling and matting of the longer wigs to be unbearable! Well let me tell you…flirt alert holds up well!! She is soft and silky, bouncy and beautiful…the 4 inch nape keeps her from matting…I get so many compliments when I wear her. The other day, a woman got out of her car and was screaming across the parking lot wanting to know where I get my hair done because she wanted hers done like mine! LOL! I have been wearing wigs since breast cancer caused my already thinning hair to fall out. Due to POS and a hormone blocker I will take for a few more years, my hair had no chance at coming back to anything resembling a full head. I've played around with a few styles, staying mostly with bobs, which was close to my hairstyle before chemo and I was comfortable with. I decided to take the plunge and go for a shorter, easier style and came upon Advanced French. Ordered in a lighter color (RL 14/22, Pale Golden Wheat) as my own hair is mostly white and a golden blonde. The wig came and it immediately seemed to brighten my face and is a very youthful style, not that at 64 yrs. I want to look like a kid, but every little bit helps. I had it on when the husband came home from work and he didn't have to say anything for me to know he approved. Its fun, easy and for a short style, has some styling options. Just received my Big Deal in Shaded Biscuit. She was out of stock for a while, so I jumped on this order when she became available again, and I'm so glad I did! The fibers are silky soft with los of swingy, natural movement. She's comfortable and can go from daytime to evening easily. Big Time and Upstage are about the longest lengths I'll wear; anything longer jus doesn't look like me. I'm petite, for reference. Also, I have only brushed this wig upside down before putting it on. The hairline was so well done it is literally undetectable and with graduating thickness. It was a hairline that I haven't seen in many poly base units that I have purchased over the last 35 years since I've been wearing hair. Also the quality of the hair was first rate. It exhibited varying shades of highlights, for a medium brown it was as natural as it gets. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

I bought this topper several months ago strictly to wear it pulled up. It was time to replace it so I ordered another one and tried it on and wondered why I never wore it down. I got these pieces to travel with in Ireland , as to not have to fool everyday with my hair/ They were wonderful in the rain, mist , wind . I now ware them everyday in Missouri, where the humidity is awful in summer . Love the color , perfect match when I dye my hair with the multi colors, it always matches. They wash & dry very fast. The hairpiece blends well with my bio hair. The curl pattern looks very much like my natural curly hair did before my hair loss. It has worked nicely for the warmer weather. The lace front gives this piece a realistic look. The only thing I wish was that the clips were positioned a little differently but I can change that myself.

I've only worn wigs for 4 years, so I am not an expert. I've loved Noriko and Jon Renau up until now, but Raquel's "On Point" received such high reviews I thought I'd give her a try. First of all, it is a great style. No permatease on top and backcombing doesn't work well so if you prefer a flatter style, this one is for you. Second plus: not shiny out of the box. (If anything, the fibers are a little lackluster.) The front lace is the best I've ever seen for a flawless look on the hairline. Now for the not so greats: the wig is huge. Noriko wigs run small but I can always adjust them by snipping here or there, etc. In contrast, this wig could fit a volleyball and it's much harder to reduce than expand (I did manage it with a sewing needle, thread, and scissors, but with much effort and a few failed attempts). My biggest complaint is the fibers themselves. They are "heat friendly", but I haven't used any heat at all on mine. I've only had her 3 weeks and already the ends are getting that dry crunchy look. In contrast, I once wore a Noriko wig for 2 months straight (daily) without washing it and it looked amazing the whole time. Love Raquel – just not her wigs. For the price I had hoped for a little higher quality, so I'm going back to Noriko and Renau.
I love On Point, but it is not heat resistant like advertised. If you add body to your hair with a dryer and round brush instead of a curling iron you will still damage the synthetic hair. It gets course and tangled because of the strands that curl individually into corkscrews. Regardless I like the fit and style. Plus the coloring looks amazing. I was so impressed with Rachel Welch’s manufacturing of this wig I ordered Play It Straight. This experience has not been the same. I was sent Goddess instead of On Point. I don’t hate it but my husband does. It fits small. The hair lays weird and the coloring is too rusty around the face. When and if I get On Point I will hopefully have a better review for that one.Donica A.
Ordered 6 different wigs in the similar style and this one is without hesitation the winner. The cap is on a bigger side, assuming to accommodate your own hair, I buzz my head very short so that’s the only down side for me. This is the only wig that didn’t have the fake shine. I've just received my 4th Top Billing topper and wanted to review again. The first two I bought in 2020 and was thrilled. Perfect fit right out of the box, color was exceptional, thick, but not too thick and not too shiny. However when I bought a new Top Billing in Feb of 2021, I could tell the difference right away and sadly the same is true of the one I just got. Two different colors, same problem. The material is thinner, shinier and unwearable without a lot of fussing. It's not as long or as full and because its thinner it flips up on the ends and doesn't look natural. It doesn't hang properly. I have thin hair all over so if I want to wear my hair "down" I need enough thickness on the topper to cover my bio hair. No problem wearing the 2020 Top Billings down, but the new ones I have to clip or pin or wear up because they're too thin. Also the new material is noticeably shinier and I've spent a lot of time washing and dry shampooing to try and get it to look more natural. I'm really disappointed as I've tried a lot of toppers and thought I'd finally found "the one"!Laura
I love the lace front & lightweight quality coverage. On the flip side, the lace front is tricky. I use Milano new topper band. The large size fits perfectly with this piece. I found them on Amazon in large & small. I comb dry hair straight back, use Kenya dry shampoo, which is a little tacky & the band does not slide back, maintaining a nice lace front. I may have bangs trimmed, not sure, yet. But I love this piece. Cap works well for a pony tail ! (Yay) Beautiful part, more like silk look.Michele
I ordered the Raquel Welch Top Billing in color RL10/12 Sunlit Chestnut. The topper was pretty but the color was just too dark (maybe too ashy) for me. I previously ordered the RL12/16 Honey Toast — it was a little too light. I am at a loss on how to order the right Raquel Welch color — the professional recommendation was to order the RL10/12 that I just returned. I love the RW heat defiant fiber, density and texture — it looks like REAL hair. My current "go to" toppers are Jon Renau Top Smart in 12/30BT Rootbeer Float and Jon Renau Top Coverage in 12 Light Golden Brown but I just don't love the shiny synthetic (non HD) fiber. (I've tried several techniques to "de-shine" but I'm still not happy.) I think RW Top Billing could be a winner if I can ever find the right color.Donna V.

When I pulled this out, I wondered what to do with it since it was straight, unlike the picture. I know I can't even trim my bangs but if the shops aren't open you are stuck. So, yes I did that horrible thing of trimming it myself. I was very lucky this time. I trimmed the front fringe a little shorter and then went around the first layer under the front fringe. I guess I really still needed to wreck it so I got out flocked rollers since this is not heat defiant. Getting them in artificial hair was a mess but I put them in the front fringe, then the bottom from my cheeks to back of my ears. I pulled them as tight as I could and let them sit for about a day. It gave it just enough curl to flip back at the sides and at the bottom. I can never keep my hair in a fringe so I do stick it back of my ears and the curl on the end blends with the slight bottom curl. It is one of my favorite toppers now. I am waiting for cooler weather as it has a wefted cap and lots of hair but I will add another one as it gets cold.Rebecca S.
My hair is thinning on top and I decided to give toppers a try. I have ordered two of these toppers in the past year and have been very pleased with them. You can't beat the price. I got the second one on sale so that was even better. I did have to trim both a bit so they blended in with my bio hair. I actually enjoyed doing that. I am new to wigs and toppers and still learning. One thing I've learned is that Gabor is the only brand that offers a color close to my own bio hair. The color is GL38-48 and it matches my bio hair perfectly. I wish other top brands, such as Raquel Welch and Jon Renau, would offer more gray options, especially in the 38, 39, 48 range. Most brands have 38 (too dark for me now) and then skip to 51/56 which is too gray for me, so for now, I'm sticking with Gabor.Debbie I.

This is really good quality hair for this price. The lace is incredibly thin making it look like it’s coming from your scalp. Easy to install and comes with a nice elastic strap attached to the cap. The cap is well made and breathable. The only reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the lace is SUPER delicate. Because it’s thin it’s really easy to rip so be gentle when styling. Highly recommend, communication was also good. Be mindful that hair will probably take a little long to reach you tho.Tatyana T.
