When I pulled this out, I wondered what to do with it since it was straight, unlike the picture. I know I can't even trim my bangs but if the shops aren't open you are stuck. So, yes I did that horrible thing of trimming it myself. I was very lucky this time. I trimmed the front fringe a little shorter and then went around the first layer under the front fringe. I guess I really still needed to wreck it so I got out flocked rollers since this is not heat defiant. Getting them in artificial hair was a mess but I put them in the front fringe, then the bottom from my cheeks to back of my ears. I pulled them as tight as I could and let them sit for about a day. It gave it just enough curl to flip back at the sides and at the bottom. I can never keep my hair in a fringe so I do stick it back of my ears and the curl on the end blends with the slight bottom curl. It is one of my favorite toppers now. I am waiting for cooler weather as it has a wefted cap and lots of hair but I will add another one as it gets cold.Rebecca S.
My hair is thinning on top and I decided to give toppers a try. I have ordered two of these toppers in the past year and have been very pleased with them. You can't beat the price. I got the second one on sale so that was even better. I did have to trim both a bit so they blended in with my bio hair. I actually enjoyed doing that. I am new to wigs and toppers and still learning. One thing I've learned is that Gabor is the only brand that offers a color close to my own bio hair. The color is GL38-48 and it matches my bio hair perfectly. I wish other top brands, such as Raquel Welch and Jon Renau, would offer more gray options, especially in the 38, 39, 48 range. Most brands have 38 (too dark for me now) and then skip to 51/56 which is too gray for me, so for now, I'm sticking with Gabor.Debbie I.

I've just received my 4th Top Billing topper and wanted to review again. The first two I bought in 2020 and was thrilled. Perfect fit right out of the box, color was exceptional, thick, but not too thick and not too shiny. However when I bought a new Top Billing in Feb of 2021, I could tell the difference right away and sadly the same is true of the one I just got. Two different colors, same problem. The material is thinner, shinier and unwearable without a lot of fussing. It's not as long or as full and because its thinner it flips up on the ends and doesn't look natural. It doesn't hang properly. I have thin hair all over so if I want to wear my hair "down" I need enough thickness on the topper to cover my bio hair. No problem wearing the 2020 Top Billings down, but the new ones I have to clip or pin or wear up because they're too thin. Also the new material is noticeably shinier and I've spent a lot of time washing and dry shampooing to try and get it to look more natural. I'm really disappointed as I've tried a lot of toppers and thought I'd finally found "the one"!Laura
I love the lace front & lightweight quality coverage. On the flip side, the lace front is tricky. I use Milano new topper band. The large size fits perfectly with this piece. I found them on Amazon in large & small. I comb dry hair straight back, use Kenya dry shampoo, which is a little tacky & the band does not slide back, maintaining a nice lace front. I ordered the Raquel Welch Top Billing in color RL10/12 Sunlit Chestnut. The topper was pretty but the color was just too dark (maybe too ashy) for me. I previously ordered the RL12/16 Honey Toast — it was a little too light. I am at a loss on how to order the right Raquel Welch color — the professional recommendation was to order the RL10/12 that I just returned. I love the RW heat defiant fiber, density and texture — it looks like REAL hair. My current "go to" toppers are Jon Renau Top Smart in 12/30BT Rootbeer Float and Jon Renau Top Coverage in 12 Light Golden Brown but I just don't love the shiny synthetic (non HD) fiber. (I've tried several techniques to "de-shine" but I'm still not happy.) I think RW Top Billing could be a winner if I can ever find the right color.Donna V.

I bought this piece for a client who has bright purple red hair. I purchased the lightest blonde, as her color had to be custom matched. I got a discount and free shipping, but even if I hadnt, the price us outstanding so I was a little skeptical. Since the hair is treated, i wasnt sure it was 100% human, until I colored it. Wow, what a quality item! It shipped quickly. There is plenty of hair to cover missing top hair and the three clips make for a secure fit. But even if you think you need more, you can simply add them or move them around the base as you see fit. I have saved this site to my home screen, as I will certainly purchase again.Kathryn F.
I am a bit disappointed on the condition of the piece I received. The box was badly ripped in two places and ALL of the clips inside the piece were coming off. On each of them there was only a sliver of the original threads holding them on. I will have to re-attached all of them. I know this piece was not expensive, but mine looked like it may have been a return since it was not in the greatest shape. That said, I purchased the color #30. My bio color match for this brand is #33 (a more Med Brown), which is not offered in this particular product, so once I get all the clips re-attached, I'm going to have my stylist color it and give it a slight trim to blend in with my own hair. I have thinning on top so I always get a lot of use from products of this nature, which is why I'm always excited to try new ones. Not so excited to have to spend time re-attaching all the clips, though.Tracy S.
The piece is not real full which is fine for me. I would rather have to tease it a little bit myself than try to flatten something with too nuch permatease. I have short hair which I am growing out, and while this piece is a little bit longer than my hair , it works perfectly. It blends nicely with my hair, and lucky for me the color is a perfect match to the medium brown color I had just used on my hair. If you're looking for something with "poof" or to add height this probably isn't for you. But if you want to cover thinning, or badly behaving hair with a natural look then give this a try.Michele

Not useful. Telephone representative responded to my query about how to straighten the wavy crown. She indicated water. In as much as my color falls between 6 and 8, there was no way I could add water, try on the crown, and return it if the color did not blend. The delivery service was decent but there was a delay of the expedited delivery.
I purchased 2 wigs that I am returning. A wig just does not look natural on me. I have had resistance so far returning them. I am currently mailing both back IN PERFECT CONDITION. One is not even opened. There is no wear, no combing was done, no perfumes around anywhere!!! I hope I have no trouble trying another wig from you at some point. This was not the right fit for me and I had to return it because it was more of an all over wig than a topper. Beautiful piece, but I have an extremely small head and this just engulfed it. I was looking more for a top piece to blend with my own hair and this did not provide that. I will definitely order a more fitting size for my head and hair style.
