I had purchased this wig off of amazon, I was a little upset that it was labeled a “Lace Front” because when it arrived it was not. BUT the quality is more than amazing, you could easily play around with the part a little bit pluck out some hair around the hair line, give it a trim whatever you please!! The length is perfect, one thing I will say is it does shed a bit which is normal with synthetic wigs. It says you can use LOW heat but when I tried freshening up some curls it wouldn’t curl at all. My mom gave Solana to me, because she wasn’t really feeling the color on her. I think this color is called “Chocolate Flamboyage” and when I first tried her on I too wasn’t 100% in love with this color as well, and being new to wearing synthetic wigs I really didn’t know what to do with it either lol. This is a really lovely wig with a gorgeous curl pattern. Love the TOB lace fronts, and this does not disappoint. However it has a lot of permatease and was quite 'poofy' straight out of the box, but after the first wash it mostly relaxed and now looks more natural. This is the sort of style that would flatter most face shapes I think. The cap is slightly big on my petite-average head, but still fairly secure and very comfortable. For reference, my circumference is 21.5 inches and 13 inches both ear-to-ear and front-to-back. I think it would be a perfect fit for a true average head size. The colour Hot-Cocoa is a nice neutral brown with no red tones. The colour swatch is a good representation of it. If you don't mind the pillowy permatease and lack of monofilament, I recommend Isla as a fun and sassy everyday wig.S. G.
This is the most expensive wig I've ever purchased and I have learned that you really do get what you pay for. The fine hair texture feels lovely and moves beautifully. The lace front is the most natural-looking one I've ever seen but I did trim a few thin, wispy, bangs for complete confidence. The color Rooted Blonde is perfect for me. As with all blonde shades, there was a little too much sheen for my taste but it was easily dulled with a spritz of dry shampoo and a light dusting of powder. I own about 5 of these wigs from work mode brown to night out purple and I love them. No cap needed, at least for me. I use a wig grip, and no glue. The cap itself is adjustable and it has combs in it to hold in place. Even with some of the Wild colors, people have asked where I get my hair done. And you can't beat the price. I had purchased this wig off of amazon, I was a little upset that it was labeled a “Lace Front” because when it arrived it was not. BUT the quality is more than amazing, you could easily play around with the part a little bit pluck out some hair around the hair line, give it a trim whatever you please!! The length is perfect, one thing I will say is it does shed a bit which is normal with synthetic wigs. It says you can use LOW heat but when I tried freshening up some curls it wouldn’t curl at all. I have bought a couple different wigs from this brand. The hair feels nice but I have not gotten lace front wigs from them. I have gotten their simulated scalp which is apparently supposed to look natural but it definitely does not. I will probably order from them again but I would have to read the reviews and pay close attention because I think sometimes the advertising can be a little unclear as to whether they are lace fronts or not. If Ellen Wille could make this Sliver-Blonde-R with a charcoal colored root instead of a warm brown root, the wig would be perfect! I'm so sad the roots are such a warm brown shade and I had to return. By the way, the wig manufacturer photos make the style look weird. This style is not weird, it is cute!
