Reviews:
This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT
Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. I just wish I had discovered wigs many years ago when I started losing my bio hair would have saved me many tears when I was buying every product out there to get my hair back. I will try to take a pic today with the wig on and send your way! Hope you all have a very wiggy wonderful day!!!Angela H.
I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

Raquel Welch wigs are my favorite. The quality is unsurpassed. The lace fronts are impeccable and so comfortable (not itchy like some can be). The velcro adjustable straps are the best kind (they actually work) so you don't have to worry much about size. I have a 21 1/2" circumference and although I have to tighten some…they fit nicely and are comfortable. The reasons I like this wig is because she is not to thick or too thin. She is not too poofy nor is she still has nice body and gentle waves that I love. The style is beautiful and feminine. She is long but not too long. The color I have sent in the picture is SS613 also called SS Platinum which is great if you're really craving that ultra blonde look. I also have R25, Ginger Blonde which is less shiny but not as soft but a little more realistic looking. I also bought two in SS 15/24, SS Champagne which is my favorite. If I didn't love wigs so much I would probably just wear that one everyday and be done with it. SS 15/24 is what I would call a basic blonde. It is not ashy. If you like a more ashy blonde I would recommend SS 14/88 Golden Wheat which i have in a different style but it's too ashy for me. If the front pieces of Miles of Style fall in your face you can just part those front pieces to the middle even though its a mono part. When I do this they stay out of my face. Since its such a realistic lace front I also like to pull a piece up and braid it and pin it back…so cute!!! Sorry for going on but one more thing is the price is great…it's only a mono part but this works great for me as I always part my hair there anyway.
This is now my go to wig. No one's lace front wigs are as good as those made by Rachel Welch. So realistic. This wig doesn't have too much hair nor too shiny. It does look like beautiful hair and that makes it hard to believe it's real…but other than that…it looks realistic. The cap is a little large for me. I am a petite woman with a small head so I have this problem all of the time but I can tighten down enough to stay secure and still look good. I'll buy it again.
Miles of Style in SS12/20 Shaded Toast is a nice color, and I have to try to like the idea of going lighter to keep it. I don't like all the hilight concentration framing the face. Also instead of roots at the temple and earstabs… you get very blond hair coming from the root. It just was not thought out well. The fiber is fine, somewhat dry, and very realistic. Minimal shine in comparison with thicker hair fibers. Whispy hairs give realistic look. The cap with the silicone has malfunction because it does not stretch right from forehead to nape.. it comes up short. This just seems like a mistake that the manufacturer made when creating this cap for this style. Because of this malfunction, it seems loose. In order to keep it from slipping, you need to use clips at the nape and near the temples if you have hair. Another color might work better…. but this is the closest color that I can possibly, possibly work with.Janna

Reviews:
I love everything about the Editors Pick. The feel, look and styling is just what I wanted. No one has ever guessed I was wearing a wig. On the 24th of June this year, I had my 68th birthday and my husband and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. Editors Pick gave me the look and confidence I needed when we had our special anniversary party. Thank you so very much!!!Patricia C.
This is a beautiful wig. However, the color was a disappointment. My hair is pure white and while I knew it would not be a perfect match I was hoping there would be more similarities. The color description said lightest gray evenly blended with pure white. I feel that there is much more gray than pure white. Also, The wig looked more like a medium gray color with very little pure white standing out. If it weren’t for that I would give it a 5 star rating.
I was waiting for my wig to arrive anxiously. I was worried about the color being too red and also unsure about the fit of the cap on my 23inch head. Turns out that the color is just a warm blond, which is perfect! I do love the platinum highlights around the face! The cap fits my head very well, so no problems there. It's amazing how much it looks like real hair, so much so that in my mind IT IS real hair! Wearing it is like taking a trip down memory lane. I used to have the same color, texture, and cut 35 years ago. I do feel that I look significantly younger wearing this wig. I have very sensitive skin, but this fiber does not irritate my neck. It barely touches my shoulders and does not irritate that skin either. I don't really know how to style hair, so it's lucky that this wig looked great right out of the box. I think it has that European chic. I love the softness of the cut around the face and of the waves. I don't think I'll ever want to wear another wig ever again!
4. Stop Traffic By Raquel Welch Synthetic Wig

When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.

The most natural looking wig I have ever purchased. A friend who knows I wear wigs, asked if she was seeing my bio hair. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. Center Stage has the most natural looking 'part' and believable density. I currently have this in 2 different but similar colors. I am shocked to see negative reviews. All it takes is a little patience with water, spray and/or gel to fool even a best friend. I don't want to forget to rate the comfort level-also deserves 5 stars.NBS

The color and style of this wig was absolutely beautiful! Great quality, great style, great price & would definitely recommend for gals that prefer darker colored hair. Unfortunately when I held this one up to my face, the color made me look completely washed out. I have started the return/exchange process for a blonde color. Looking forward to seeing how this works out. Customer service has been great so far!!Vikki
I have 100% hair loss and a sensitive scalp. I bought this one to wear around the house with a thick cotton liner on those days when I need a break from the adhesives I use with my 100% hand tied wigs. It's a great style. I wish it came in a 100% hand tied version WITHOUT that cone-head "bump" on the crown that's so unnatural. Since it's a wear-away-from-the-face style, the lace front should be ear-to-ear instead of just the crown. Please find a more comfortable lace because the standard is itchy. The Glazed Strawberry bills itself as a "light red" but it reads as brown. I wish more wig manufacturers offered light reds that look honestly red, not brown, not orange/ginger, but real red strawberry blonde with blonde streaks. Glazed Strawberry is nice but just too dark and too brown.Tish
I found her on Clearance at Wigstudio1.com. I love her. Her fibers are regular synthetic and the density is light. If there is permatease it is not noticable. The lace front is spectacular and leaves a perfect hairline. Thank you Wigstudio1 for being such a wonderful retailer!Denise B.

Reviews:
I have worn this wig on and off for almost a year…and have found a way to reduce the clumping relative to the heat friendly fibers. Almost gave her a toss, but decided to try something else. If I leave hair conditioner and de-tangler product on the wig, the fibers don’t move very well and the wig looks heavy, and feels dirty. So, I put those products on for a day or two, or more, then I soak her in some water for a few minutes, rinse her thoroughly and let her dry. The conditioning products have done their job, and the fibers don’t stick together. I can get several wearings, then I repeat the same process. I don’t use shampoo very often. The second thing is to snip off the squiggly hairs, a painstaking process, but one that has increased longevity and frees up the strands to move better. The third thing is a “no no”, but it works beautifully for me. I use a fine tooth comb and very carefully and slowly go through a small section of hair without pulling or stretching the fibers, starting at the bottom working my way up the strand. This process allows the hair strands to blend better and helps me to find where the problem hairs are so I can cut them off. This is the most flattering wig I have owned, and Shaded Biscuit is a fabulous color. However, I desperately need this wig in a petite size. It is too large for me.
I own two of these wigs–one of which is in Ice Latte Macchiato and the other is in Shaded Biscuit. (This review pertains to the Shaded Biscuit version of On In 10) On In 10 is beautiful, budget friendly, and the bob hairstyle was my favorite way to wear my bio hair. But not even my own bio hair could ever rock a bob like this wig! I confess that I ordered On In 10 in Iced Latte Macchiato from a different online wig retailer because they were offering it at a lower price. I must say with all honesty, that wig is far superior to the Shaded Biscuit one I bought here. I loved On In 10 so much I decided I wanted a second one in another color. I purchased it here because I wanted to take advantage of the weekend sale and order On In 10 in the beautiful Shaded Biscuit. I also had some points I wanted to use, plus I love the wonderful customer service I always receive here. The biggest positive of On In 10 Shaded Biscuit is the color. It is absolutely stunning and I love the way it looks on me. I am a cool skin tone and it flatters my pale skin perfectly. Also, I have green eyes and Shaded Biscuit really makes them stand out. And as usual, the wig arrived quickly and was packaged with care. Unfortunately, though there are a couple of negatives I must pass along: while my Iced Latte Macchiato version of On in 10 fit me beautifully from the start, I noticed at first that this Shaded Biscuit one fit a bit tight. Not so tight as to give me a headache or cause distress, but tight enough to feel a bit uncomfortable. I double checked and indeed I ordered the correct size (my head circumference is on the higher end of average). I had it adjusted the same way as I did my other On In 10, but it just wasn't fitting right. At first I thought I might have to return the wig. But I love this Shaded Biscuit so much and wanted to try hard to work with it. Eventually, though, the cap stretched out and it does fit better now. However even though it fits better, the cap is nowhere near as comfortable as my Iced Latte Macchiato On In 10 that I purchased from a different online retailer. Also with this Shaded Biscuit I received, the side swept bangs were too long to the point they were annoying. I have a short forehead but on my Iced Latte Macchiato On In 10, the side swept bangs stay in place and don't keep falling down. I eventually had to alter the Shaded Biscuit wig and trim in some bangs because that was driving me crazy having that falling down in my eyes all the time. One other thing that's different with my Shaded Biscuit On In 10 is that I have to spend more time getting it prepped when I put it on. My Iced Latte Macchiato is gorgeous and easy to work with: I just throw it on, arrange it a bit and go. The Shaded Biscuit one, however, gets lots of fly-aways and I have to keep messing with it and tinkering with it to have it look the way I like. I am going to try shampooing the wig today and see if maybe that might help it. I like my wigs to be low maintenance where I don't have to constantly fuss with them.. Definitely my Shaded Biscuit version of On In 10 is much higher maintenance (to me) than my much better behaved Iced Latte Macchiato version. I am unsure if maybe somehow I got a, for want of a better word "defective" wig, because how do two On In 10 wigs, whose only difference is their color, behave so differently? While I adore the Shaded Biscuit color and it's become my new favorite blonde shade, I definitely like wearing my Iced Latte Macchiato On in 10 better because it seems to be much more well made, easier to work with and I didn't have to alter it whatsoever. Trust me–I really did hate having to cut in bangs on my Shaded Biscuit On In 10 and I don't like altering any wig in general. Sorry for my long winded review, but I wanted to give as many details as possible in hopes it helps others make an informed decision. Also my 4 star review is about my experiences with On In 10 Shaded Biscuit because my other one is awesome. In conclusion, I want to add that I certainly don't hold WigStudio1 at fault over this or HairUWear. No one is to blame; these things happen sometimes–no one could foresee this happening. After all, I just might've been unlucky–the next Shaded Biscuit wig I order could very well be awesome! Thanks for reading and hope this review was helpful!Sandra
When wearing this bob I feel extra feminine and pretty. A colleague asked how I have the time to curl my hair every day, so it has passed the test 😀 The cap is comfortable and petit in size. I would have preferred if the darkest shade was used for the strands of hair that is attached to the front lace to make the scalp less visible My experience with Raquel welch’s wigs is that the fibers is light and smooth and in general stunning to begin with, but quickly drops in quality after a few uses. The fibers tangles easy and the locks of hair gather in larger separate parts (ref. pictures), the ends tiles up and the color gets dull: which almost gives a felted look. It demands lots of detangling and even trimming after some weeks. Even though I would by this one again since it gives such a wow factor. Simmer has lots of volume, the middle part is dark (thumbs up), the density is good and the color lives up to it’s expectations I have this in RL8/29SS Shaded Hazelnut which is a rooted colour: Warm Medium Brown Evenly Blended with Ginger Blonde with Dark Roots.Kristin

When I first opened the box, I was really disappointed because the Sugar Charcoal (RL511) looked so much darker than my biological hair and it wasn’t what I was expecting. But my husband told me to try it on anyway because he knew I’d been waiting months for it to come back in stock. Well I see now why everyone raves about the lace front on Raquel Welch wigs! The lace front is very natural and the style is perfect, not too fussy or weighty, and no perma-tease. The hair isn’t shiny and feels soft and real. I love it! I also received compliments from strangers too my first time out, which is always nice for a new self-conscious wig wearer!Pamela C.
I bought Pretty Please by Raquel Welch in RL8/29 Hazelnut (Medium Brown with Ginger Red Highlights). The color is as described although when I put it on this color combo seems a bit too dark for my complexion even though it's in my color range. I just received this wig and I'm debating whether to keep it or not due to the color. However, if I do return it, I will definitely buy another (or two) in a lighter shade. The hair feels soft and has a very natural movement. It has a mono top (versatility with parting the hair however you want) and it is a hand-tied wig. This cap is a dream to wear; the fit is very comfortable and light. The lace front is perfect and natural looking. The style is on-trend while being classic at the same time. I will definitely purchase this wig in more shades that compliment my complexion.Lisa

I now own three Flirt Alert wigs, this is my absolute favorite for several reasons. I wear my wigs every day, all day. I need a wig that holds up well to daily use. I find the tangling and matting of the longer wigs to be unbearable! Well let me tell you…flirt alert holds up well!! She is soft and silky, bouncy and beautiful…the 4 inch nape keeps her from matting…I get so many compliments when I wear her. The other day, a woman got out of her car and was screaming across the parking lot wanting to know where I get my hair done because she wanted hers done like mine! LOL! I wish this wig came in a hand tied cap, but that’s my ONLY complaint, if you can call that a complaint.Kyra
I have been wearing wigs since breast cancer caused my already thinning hair to fall out. Due to POS and a hormone blocker I will take for a few more years, my hair had no chance at coming back to anything resembling a full head. I've played around with a few styles, staying mostly with bobs, which was close to my hairstyle before chemo and I was comfortable with. I decided to take the plunge and go for a shorter, easier style and came upon Advanced French. Ordered in a lighter color (RL 14/22, Pale Golden Wheat) as my own hair is mostly white and a golden blonde. The wig came and it immediately seemed to brighten my face and is a very youthful style, not that at 64 yrs. I want to look like a kid, but every little bit helps. I had it on when the husband came home from work and he didn't have to say anything for me to know he approved. Its fun, easy and for a short style, has some styling options. The lace front is not as itchy as some have been and I love getting hair off my neck and off the face. Great little style and ordered two more right away.Therese W.
Just received my Big Deal in Shaded Biscuit. She was out of stock for a while, so I jumped on this order when she became available again, and I'm so glad I did! The fibers are silky soft with los of swingy, natural movement. She's comfortable and can go from daytime to evening easily. Big Time and Upstage are about the longest lengths I'll wear; anything longer jus doesn't look like me. I'm petite, for reference. Also, I have only brushed this wig upside down before putting it on. No other styling needed (for my taste).Tina L.

Wig # One: I just received my Sparkle Wig and I love it however the color is too white. According to the information in the packaging I can Try again —your can reorder now or wait, etc, and I have reordered now. Replacement: Wig # Two: I am returning the enclosed wig for several reasons. First, it is way too small. This is reorder from the first wig I received which was a great fit and style but was too white. The color of this replacement is perfect, but too small and not nearly as well styled as the first. I talked to a representative today and was instructed to return this one so that it could be replaced with the correct size and with proper styling. Please note that the enclosed return wig shows the correct size (A) but it is much smaller than the first one which was great, but too white. Also, the styling on this one is very centered on a part and has little shape even when shaken and finger styled. The first one (which was the too white one) had great styling right out of the box and no visible part. I had hoped to have a great wig for Thanksgiving but now I just want one that is large enough, properly styled and in the right color. Hope you can help! Wig # Three: still waiting for it!Mary S.
I've purchased this wig for several years now. I've had two different colors. One was a darker brunette and the other was this one R9S+ Glazed Mahogany. I love the color. The only thing I have noticed in ordering this style, one of the wigs in the brunette color, was cut different than the original one. I've noticed this with other styles of Raquel Welch wigs. It would be interesting to see how these wigs are manufactured. Other than that, it's a great wig. I still have my hair but it's thinning so much as I get older. I'll be 70 in April and I refuse to let nature take it's course. I have fun wearing them and my friends can't believe I wear a wig every now and then. Life is too short and I'm tired of wasting any more time in front of the mirror trying to fix hair that just isn't there anymore! I'm by no means bald but realty is closing in! I feel so much better just looking in the mirror and seeing the hair I used to have! Don't ever be ashamed about wearing a wig. Make it fun! You'll be amazed at how many other of your friends will consider buying a wig. You don't have to be bald to wear one! It's a fashion statement!!Jackie
This was one of my favorite wigs. It has changed and I sent back my order. The fibers were too shiny and wispy, flipping up and "different" then the last two I purchased. Also the base neckline was severely short and would easily show a misplaced hair from underneath. Very disappointed and lost too much money back and forth. I don't have money to waste. I thought I knew what I was getting. Sorry but I have been very happy in the past with both my Cinch and my sparkle wigs. I'm wondering if they have done the same to the Cinch wig.

This is the third time I've purchased this wig. The first one finally wore out after 3 years of wearing it almost daily. I have male pattern baldness, so I don't have even enough hair for a topper. I wear my own hair (dyed and cut to match) down, with the wig over the top. It gives me a very natural hairline, and it keeps the wig smooth at the nape. I love this wig because it's nicely cut, right out of the box. It's also long enough to cut any way you want it. I've cut them to just below the shoulders, to leaving it the length it came. I can wear it up or down, with bangs or a side swoop. It all works. The fiber is very nice. It looks very natural–not too shiny or greasy looking, as some wigs look. The coloring is very pretty. I am able to style it with light heat and it holds the style through washings, until I style it again. If the ends get fuzzy, I wash the wig and use a flat iron at 125 while the wig is still damp, to smooth the ends. They turn out nice and smooth.
I love this wig! This is the first time that people have asked me where I get my hair highlighted because this wig looks this natural! HF fiber is my favorite but it definitely doesn't last as long. It will dry out so you have to use moisture spray on it, either the Heat Defiant Detangler or some type of watered down spray detangle product. Just spray and let dry completely before using wide tooth wig comb or wide tooth wig brush. This will help prolong life. You can also snip dry ends carefully. The lace fronts on Raquel Welch wigs are the best imo, and this one is great. This cap is well constructed and the mono top is wonderful, a must have. (I love 100% hand tied caps but the one offered in this style is a little large on me, but I do have a small head. ) The Raquel Welch Shadow Shades, SS, are the most realistic, they are gorgeous. Her caps are a bit large imo, except for the petite caps, which are perfect for me. Her hand tied caps are wonderful, but again, I'm a very petite lady and they are too large for me. I wish this style was about 7% to 10% thicker, just my opinion. This is a phenomenal wig. The cut is timeless and well done, beautiful. The flow of the hair fiber is gorgeous! Try her! You won't regret buying!!!Ilovewigs2
I so love the Spotlight in Shaded Biscuit RL19/23SS. She's a lot more platinum and less yellow than i expected, but I kept her. Its true Blondes have more fun. I've been going brunette for so long thought I'd try this. And you would not believe the response and compliments I've received on this wig in this color. I originally wanted the new Mesmerize, but at my age (56) this wig is slightly shorter and lighter weight, so an instant winner. Can you pull this off at 56 .. absolutely! Velvet temples are nice, and full lace top, can be parted on any side or middle. Super soft hair material as well.Skye G.

Love that it’s hand tied, doesn’t look like the photo for style. If you are buying a Raquel Welch piece remember that in her photos all the wigs have been professionally styled before the shot is taken. In these shelter in place days with everything closed my stylist is not available. It’s ok as is, but not great.
First let me say that I am fiercely loyal to the Raquel line, great styles and has the BEST red tones of any manufacturer. Adorable style though slightly shorted than the pictures would suggest. Sadly this cap runs very small, I always do well with an average size cap but this one seemed unusually small.ROBIN M.
