Reviews:
This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT
Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. I just wish I had discovered wigs many years ago when I started losing my bio hair would have saved me many tears when I was buying every product out there to get my hair back. I will try to take a pic today with the wig on and send your way! Hope you all have a very wiggy wonderful day!!!Angela H.
I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

"Nice Move" says it best on the ordering of this one. Perfect color of course …shaded biscuit & perfect style . Longest one yet for me but if I like it first try …it's usually a keeper . Here she is straight out of the box and on my head … wish it was alway so easy . The quality is superb. Soooo much hair !!! Can't wait to style and make it me ❤️JudyGale
I got this in the colour RL6/30 "Copper Mahogny" which is natural and evenly blended. The fibers are soft and the hair got realistic densitet – not too thin and not to much. I've only used the wig for a day som I cannot confirm any frizz in the nape or at the ends. I display photoes which shows off how the colour looks like both inside (dull light) and in daylight. I'm not used to the fixed center parting of the hair, but it looks good.Kristin
I love love love this wig! It looks exactly like my hairstyle when I still had my long thick hair! Lost it all, then shaved my head because of Hashimotos disease. I look in the mirror and see ME again. I got the Shaded wheat RL14/22SS. It is truly my actual color that I used to have! Best fit too!Cassie D.

4. I just started having to wear wigs about 6 months ago and since I don’t have any wig shops near me have had to rely on purchasing solely online which is very scary… this wig exceeded my expectations! Very natural looking on and instantly made me look like I’d just walked out of a salon. I love the rooted color and the highlights- seriously looks completely natural! If you have any worries about people thinking you’re wearing a wig “let it go” because no one will have a clue. Wish I could leave pics because it is stunning!Sherry
I recently had extreme hair loss due to alopecia and needed to purchase a wig. I have never had to do anything like this and didn't know where to start. After looking through SEVERAL websites and styles of wigs I chose Always. It came in promptly, less than a week. It was beautiful right out the box. I wanted looser curls so I combed it out and it looked wonderful! Day 1, I wore it for maybe 4 hours out running errands. When I got home the ends were SO matted and tangled. The ends of the wig look like damaged hair, frizzy and crinkled. I have not used any heat and I have not washed it yet. I've worn it out twice and it looks terrible. I did buy the synthetic hair care package and been applying the products as directed. After purchasing this wig I now know what not to get and what to look for in a wig. I really don't think it will be another Raquel Welch wig. I am so disappointed and hate that I spent $150+ on this poor quality wig.Mariah
I have purchased several wigs from Vogue over the past few years, and I've bought more than one of this style. The texture and quality make it my very favorite! It is unbelievably realistic with the look and feel of real hair, whether you wear it straight or curly. I always trim bangs on mine and typically trim off some of the length for a little more layered look. The highlighting is so natural that I've had several people ask me who does my hair! I wear this almost every day and regular washing helps keep it soft and reduces fraying on the ends. I've also found that using a curling iron or flat iron will also help with some of the fraying on the ends. This wig also has a very natural monofilament top which allows the hair to lay very nicely no matter how you part it. The best feature of this wig is the texture of the hair, which allows you style it as you would your own. It's amazingly natural looking, soft, and beautiful!
9. Nice Move By Raquel Welch Heat Resistant, Lace Front, Mono Part Rl8/29ss- Shaded Hazelnut
Product Details:

Reviews:
Have tried three different wigs and this one stands above the others for quality and was less expensive. Feels natural to touch, soft. Style hits right at/below shoulders, quick brush in the morning and it looks great all day. Has ability to change part so I was able to do my usual part. Is heat resistant but use caution with temperature, I melted a different wig because temperature was too high. Stays put without anything underneath. Is comfortable, not hot or scratchy, my hair is shaved. I have gotten many compliments, may like the wig better than my own hair.Sheri S.

Love that it’s hand tied, doesn’t look like the photo for style. If you are buying a Raquel Welch piece remember that in her photos all the wigs have been professionally styled before the shot is taken. In these shelter in place days with everything closed my stylist is not available. It’s ok as is, but not great.
First let me say that I am fiercely loyal to the Raquel line, great styles and has the BEST red tones of any manufacturer. Adorable style though slightly shorted than the pictures would suggest. Sadly this cap runs very small, I always do well with an average size cap but this one seemed unusually small.ROBIN M.

I have worn wigs for over 50 years and have experienced the good, the bad, and the ****. I have worn inexpensive and expensive, natural and synthetic wigs. I cannot believe how completely disappointed I am with this wig. At this price point I would have expected much better quality. Severe matting occurred in less than a month. I have had the wig for only one month and it looks like I have had it for 6 months. I wear my wigs daily and they usually last 3 – 6 months depending on the brand. The hair fibers at less than 1 month of wearing this wig feel like dried cheap doll's hair! I was so embarrassed when one of my friends at church touched my hair and got a funny look on her face. I paid over $400.00 dollars for this wig. I am ashamed to wear it anymore and feel like I just wasted a lot of money. I have never written a review for a wig before. I felt an obligation to write this review to save others from wasting their money and to send a message to Raquel Welch that I as well as other customers deserve much better quality especially at that price. I have had at least one other Raquel Welch wig ( I think Spotlight ) and was not disappointed like this. This wig is a new addition to the Raquel Welch collection. It looks beautiful in the pictures but after a couple of weeks of wearing is probably one of the poorest and cheapest looking not to mention shortest lasting wigs I have ever bought. I see that it is now on sale for $290.00 which I still think is too much but wish I had spent that instead of over $400.00.Diana F.
Update….I previously wrote a review on this wig. I love the realistic hair fiber (but wish they could improve heat friendly hair fiber so it lasted longer) and the hand tied cap and the lace front are both wonderful but the Cap is Huge on this wig. Sadly, I won't be able to buy more of this piece because of the large cap size, so much so that it's baggy on my head. Disappointing because the cut is gorgeous.Lovewigs2
I wanted to try something with some length. I ordered Shaded Biscuit and it was beautiful. However, the length was way longer than I anticipated and to cut it would have removed too much of the curl/waves. I returned it at the full refund price since I received store credit. Great buy for someone looking for long waves and more. The customer service was great on the return.Gloria B.

When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.

The most natural looking wig I have ever purchased. A friend who knows I wear wigs, asked if she was seeing my bio hair. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. Center Stage has the most natural looking 'part' and believable density. I currently have this in 2 different but similar colors. I am shocked to see negative reviews. All it takes is a little patience with water, spray and/or gel to fool even a best friend. I don't want to forget to rate the comfort level-also deserves 5 stars.NBS

Raquel Welch wigs are my favorite. The quality is unsurpassed. The lace fronts are impeccable and so comfortable (not itchy like some can be). The velcro adjustable straps are the best kind (they actually work) so you don't have to worry much about size. I have a 21 1/2" circumference and although I have to tighten some…they fit nicely and are comfortable. The reasons I like this wig is because she is not to thick or too thin. She is not too poofy nor is she still has nice body and gentle waves that I love. The style is beautiful and feminine. She is long but not too long. The color I have sent in the picture is SS613 also called SS Platinum which is great if you're really craving that ultra blonde look. I also have R25, Ginger Blonde which is less shiny but not as soft but a little more realistic looking. I also bought two in SS 15/24, SS Champagne which is my favorite. If I didn't love wigs so much I would probably just wear that one everyday and be done with it. SS 15/24 is what I would call a basic blonde. It is not ashy. If you like a more ashy blonde I would recommend SS 14/88 Golden Wheat which i have in a different style but it's too ashy for me. If the front pieces of Miles of Style fall in your face you can just part those front pieces to the middle even though its a mono part. When I do this they stay out of my face. Since its such a realistic lace front I also like to pull a piece up and braid it and pin it back…so cute!!! Sorry for going on but one more thing is the price is great…it's only a mono part but this works great for me as I always part my hair there anyway.
This is now my go to wig. No one's lace front wigs are as good as those made by Rachel Welch. So realistic. This wig doesn't have too much hair nor too shiny. It does look like beautiful hair and that makes it hard to believe it's real…but other than that…it looks realistic. The cap is a little large for me. I am a petite woman with a small head so I have this problem all of the time but I can tighten down enough to stay secure and still look good. I'll buy it again.
Miles of Style in SS12/20 Shaded Toast is a nice color, and I have to try to like the idea of going lighter to keep it. I don't like all the hilight concentration framing the face. Also instead of roots at the temple and earstabs… you get very blond hair coming from the root. It just was not thought out well. The fiber is fine, somewhat dry, and very realistic. Minimal shine in comparison with thicker hair fibers. Whispy hairs give realistic look. The cap with the silicone has malfunction because it does not stretch right from forehead to nape.. it comes up short. This just seems like a mistake that the manufacturer made when creating this cap for this style. Because of this malfunction, it seems loose. In order to keep it from slipping, you need to use clips at the nape and near the temples if you have hair. Another color might work better…. but this is the closest color that I can possibly, possibly work with.Janna

BIG 10 — I like talking with your knowledgeable staff. They answer my questions and make suggestions. Trend Setter is very stylish and I get lots of compliments. IV been wearing it in and off for several years. I like switching up my wits but always go back to Trend Setter. I really would love it if they made it in a human hair piece or heat friendly that would be so awesome. Imagine the sales going up. I know this wig is popular. Someone please tell Raquel Welch’s corporate office to consider this. I’d be first in line. Thank you. 😃Thersa H.
I have bought Trendsetter in gradient charcoal for some years now and have 8 of them, having the best ones for special occasions, average for every day, and the other one for work. Now I have received the ninth one, and am SO disappointed. No longer does Trendsetter have flicked up waves, it is half the thickness that it was, and it is straight with no bounce. Has anyone else had this experience? I believe they are being made more cheaply, or have been taken over by an inferior company who have no idea what Trendsetter is supposed to be. My friends say “Have you had a hair cut? Oh well, it will grow!!” How disappointing!Virginia P.
I chose Glazed Vanilla and Silver Mist. The style is very flattering and super easy to wear. You just shake it out, put it on, comb the bangs into place a go! I've been a blonde for years so enjoy the Glazed Vanilla for work. The Silver Mist is gorgeous. Since I'm all grey now, it's a fun weekend wig. The Trendsetter is very comfortable to wear. It has a light airy feel, like your own hair. I wear an average size and it's great, with easy adjustable straps if you need a tighter fit. I couldn't be happier with how lovely and youthful a look this wig provides.Lucien J.
