This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT
Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. I just wish I had discovered wigs many years ago when I started losing my bio hair would have saved me many tears when I was buying every product out there to get my hair back. I will try to take a pic today with the wig on and send your way! Hope you all have a very wiggy wonderful day!!!Angela H.
I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

I just started having to wear wigs about 6 months ago and since I don’t have any wig shops near me have had to rely on purchasing solely online which is very scary… this wig exceeded my expectations! Very natural looking on and instantly made me look like I’d just walked out of a salon. I love the rooted color and the highlights- seriously looks completely natural! If you have any worries about people thinking you’re wearing a wig “let it go” because no one will have a clue. Wish I could leave pics because it is stunning!Sherry
I recently had extreme hair loss due to alopecia and needed to purchase a wig. I have never had to do anything like this and didn't know where to start. After looking through SEVERAL websites and styles of wigs I chose Always. It came in promptly, less than a week. It was beautiful right out the box. I wanted looser curls so I combed it out and it looked wonderful! Day 1, I wore it for maybe 4 hours out running errands. When I got home the ends were SO matted and tangled. The ends of the wig look like damaged hair, frizzy and crinkled. I have not used any heat and I have not washed it yet. I've worn it out twice and it looks terrible. I did buy the synthetic hair care package and been applying the products as directed. After purchasing this wig I now know what not to get and what to look for in a wig. I really don't think it will be another Raquel Welch wig. I am so disappointed and hate that I spent $150+ on this poor quality wig.Mariah
I have purchased several wigs from Vogue over the past few years, and I've bought more than one of this style. The texture and quality make it my very favorite! It is unbelievably realistic with the look and feel of real hair, whether you wear it straight or curly. I always trim bangs on mine and typically trim off some of the length for a little more layered look. The highlighting is so natural that I've had several people ask me who does my hair! I wear this almost every day and regular washing helps keep it soft and reduces fraying on the ends. I've also found that using a curling iron or flat iron will also help with some of the fraying on the ends. This wig also has a very natural monofilament top which allows the hair to lay very nicely no matter how you part it. The best feature of this wig is the texture of the hair, which allows you style it as you would your own. It's amazingly natural looking, soft, and beautiful!

I now own three Flirt Alert wigs, this is my absolute favorite for several reasons. I wear my wigs every day, all day. I need a wig that holds up well to daily use. I find the tangling and matting of the longer wigs to be unbearable! Well let me tell you…flirt alert holds up well!! She is soft and silky, bouncy and beautiful…the 4 inch nape keeps her from matting…I get so many compliments when I wear her. The other day, a woman got out of her car and was screaming across the parking lot wanting to know where I get my hair done because she wanted hers done like mine! LOL! I wish this wig came in a hand tied cap, but that’s my ONLY complaint, if you can call that a complaint.Kyra
I have been wearing wigs since breast cancer caused my already thinning hair to fall out. Due to POS and a hormone blocker I will take for a few more years, my hair had no chance at coming back to anything resembling a full head. I've played around with a few styles, staying mostly with bobs, which was close to my hairstyle before chemo and I was comfortable with. I decided to take the plunge and go for a shorter, easier style and came upon Advanced French. Ordered in a lighter color (RL 14/22, Pale Golden Wheat) as my own hair is mostly white and a golden blonde. The wig came and it immediately seemed to brighten my face and is a very youthful style, not that at 64 yrs. I want to look like a kid, but every little bit helps. I had it on when the husband came home from work and he didn't have to say anything for me to know he approved. Its fun, easy and for a short style, has some styling options. The lace front is not as itchy as some have been and I love getting hair off my neck and off the face. Great little style and ordered two more right away.Therese W.
Just received my Big Deal in Shaded Biscuit. She was out of stock for a while, so I jumped on this order when she became available again, and I'm so glad I did! The fibers are silky soft with los of swingy, natural movement. She's comfortable and can go from daytime to evening easily. Big Time and Upstage are about the longest lengths I'll wear; anything longer jus doesn't look like me. I'm petite, for reference. Also, I have only brushed this wig upside down before putting it on. No other styling needed (for my taste).Tina L.

I am new to wigs, but absolutely love this one. This is my second purchase of Raquel Welch wigs and I love the look. I did do my little tweak, to make it look more like me. Love the color shaded cappuccino (RL12/22SS). Very comfortable, very natural looking part and hairline.Elizabeth
I have around 17 wigs and this is the only one that I have three of. One is in the color Biscuit (first pic), and I have two in Shaded Biscuit (second pic). I wear Real Deal the most because it looks like "me" the most. It's easy to wear, stylish, and fuss-free. I love this wig!Tina L.

This is the third time I've purchased this wig. The first one finally wore out after 3 years of wearing it almost daily. I have male pattern baldness, so I don't have even enough hair for a topper. I wear my own hair (dyed and cut to match) down, with the wig over the top. It gives me a very natural hairline, and it keeps the wig smooth at the nape. I love this wig because it's nicely cut, right out of the box. It's also long enough to cut any way you want it. I've cut them to just below the shoulders, to leaving it the length it came. I can wear it up or down, with bangs or a side swoop. It all works. The fiber is very nice. It looks very natural–not too shiny or greasy looking, as some wigs look. The coloring is very pretty. I am able to style it with light heat and it holds the style through washings, until I style it again. If the ends get fuzzy, I wash the wig and use a flat iron at 125 while the wig is still damp, to smooth the ends. They turn out nice and smooth.
I love this wig! This is the first time that people have asked me where I get my hair highlighted because this wig looks this natural! HF fiber is my favorite but it definitely doesn't last as long. It will dry out so you have to use moisture spray on it, either the Heat Defiant Detangler or some type of watered down spray detangle product. Just spray and let dry completely before using wide tooth wig comb or wide tooth wig brush. This will help prolong life. You can also snip dry ends carefully. The lace fronts on Raquel Welch wigs are the best imo, and this one is great. This cap is well constructed and the mono top is wonderful, a must have. (I love 100% hand tied caps but the one offered in this style is a little large on me, but I do have a small head. ) The Raquel Welch Shadow Shades, SS, are the most realistic, they are gorgeous. Her caps are a bit large imo, except for the petite caps, which are perfect for me. Her hand tied caps are wonderful, but again, I'm a very petite lady and they are too large for me. I wish this style was about 7% to 10% thicker, just my opinion. This is a phenomenal wig. The cut is timeless and well done, beautiful. The flow of the hair fiber is gorgeous! Try her! You won't regret buying!!!Ilovewigs2
I so love the Spotlight in Shaded Biscuit RL19/23SS. She's a lot more platinum and less yellow than i expected, but I kept her. Its true Blondes have more fun. I've been going brunette for so long thought I'd try this. And you would not believe the response and compliments I've received on this wig in this color. I originally wanted the new Mesmerize, but at my age (56) this wig is slightly shorter and lighter weight, so an instant winner. Can you pull this off at 56 .. absolutely! Velvet temples are nice, and full lace top, can be parted on any side or middle. Super soft hair material as well.Skye G.

Reviews:
Raquel Welch wigs are my go-to, and I've purchased several styles. But the Classic Cut is my favorite because it IS a bit thinner than other wigs, and so looks far more natural to me. The style, the length, and the bangs are a perfect fit, right out of the box. It's lightweight, cool, and comfortable, and feels like silk. I get more compliments on this wig than any others I've worn. I've tried Biscuit and Silver Mist and love them both.
I previously purchased this item in a different color. I loved this wig and the fit. Unfortunately the new wig in different color will not fit. From front to back of crown is 1/2 inch bigger, ear tab across front to other ear tab is also 1/2 inch bigger, and crown to bottom is also 1/2 inch bigger. Wig can not be worn as it won't stay on my head. To return item costs me over $17.00, which I don't have extra funds for. It was marked as regular size, it's a jumbo!!! I am very disappointed. 🙁KATHERINE G.
I've looked at this wigs many times but then I'd hesitate thinking it might be too full, too "bowl-like" or too sensible. I finally picked it up at one of Heather's great sales. I received the wig within 3 days!!! MUCH faster than the most popular wig company. When I order from them, it takes that long to confirm that I placed an order. I will order all my wigs from this site in the future. I so appreciate the excellent service. Now, about the wig… Love the color RL8/29 hazelnut (rooted). It's really really pretty! I especially like the density. It's not thick and will require no thinning. This is the 8th wig I've purchased since last May. My favorites have been JR Kristen and JR Cameron. I also loved RW Play it Straight. Ive always bought mono parts or full mono thinking it would look more natural. They do. However, the Classic Cut only has a mono crown. I was thrilled at how great this wig looked right out of the box. It comes just below my chin in front and midway down my neck in the back. Seems like it will hit just above the collar, which I think will avoid the problem with it bumping against it and becoming matted. Bottom line… Super cute, nice length, minimal shine, low density. This is my first wig review but I just just had give one on this one. Thank you Cysterwigs!!!

When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.

The most natural looking wig I have ever purchased. A friend who knows I wear wigs, asked if she was seeing my bio hair. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. Center Stage has the most natural looking 'part' and believable density. I currently have this in 2 different but similar colors. I am shocked to see negative reviews. All it takes is a little patience with water, spray and/or gel to fool even a best friend. I don't want to forget to rate the comfort level-also deserves 5 stars.NBS

I've only worn wigs for 4 years, so I am not an expert. I've loved Noriko and Jon Renau up until now, but Raquel's "On Point" received such high reviews I thought I'd give her a try. First of all, it is a great style. No permatease on top and backcombing doesn't work well so if you prefer a flatter style, this one is for you. Second plus: not shiny out of the box. (If anything, the fibers are a little lackluster.) The front lace is the best I've ever seen for a flawless look on the hairline. Now for the not so greats: the wig is huge. Noriko wigs run small but I can always adjust them by snipping here or there, etc. In contrast, this wig could fit a volleyball and it's much harder to reduce than expand (I did manage it with a sewing needle, thread, and scissors, but with much effort and a few failed attempts). My biggest complaint is the fibers themselves. They are "heat friendly", but I haven't used any heat at all on mine. I've only had her 3 weeks and already the ends are getting that dry crunchy look. In contrast, I once wore a Noriko wig for 2 months straight (daily) without washing it and it looked amazing the whole time. Love Raquel – just not her wigs. For the price I had hoped for a little higher quality, so I'm going back to Noriko and Renau.
I love On Point, but it is not heat resistant like advertised. If you add body to your hair with a dryer and round brush instead of a curling iron you will still damage the synthetic hair. It gets course and tangled because of the strands that curl individually into corkscrews. Regardless I like the fit and style. Plus the coloring looks amazing. I was so impressed with Rachel Welch’s manufacturing of this wig I ordered Play It Straight. This experience has not been the same. I was sent Goddess instead of On Point. I don’t hate it but my husband does. It fits small. The hair lays weird and the coloring is too rusty around the face. When and if I get On Point I will hopefully have a better review for that one.Donica A.
Ordered 6 different wigs in the similar style and this one is without hesitation the winner. The cap is on a bigger side, assuming to accommodate your own hair, I buzz my head very short so that’s the only down side for me. This is the only wig that didn’t have the fake shine. The hair feels so natural and flows beautifully! I can’t stop playing with my hair when I wear it. I got the RL511 color – GORGEOUS salt ‘n pepperArin

Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again.
