    You buy something like this to enhance or for costume wear. In my honest opinion, this is not realistic as real hair and will look like a wig. My biggest negative point would be that if you comb through the tangles (it does tangle easily), a good amount of hair does come off. Maybe because it's new, I do not know. The other minor thing, you can't really shape the wig at all, but I didn't expect it would do this anyway. I like to dress up and mainly bought this because I have natural, very long dark hair and wanted to try "red" without dyeing my hair. I do think this is an all around nice wig and it was a great price..included a wig cap and comb. But it always was a one time purchase for me and I never expected this to be or look like the real thing. I got it for when I dress up in something really sexy and want to be a redhead! 😉 For that, it works!! I only review this way for those who think this may be a passable or realistic look.     I purchased 2 wigs. The Tango & the Ellie (which I returned because I didnt like it). The Tango was everything I expected. I also purchased a pair of John Fashion sling back shoes which I absolutely loved. I returned The Ellie wig & requested a refund. Aft several days, I traced the US mail pkg & it had been received but I had not received my refund as requested. So I called a cpl times using my sister's fone becaz I had poor reception on my Gov fone & later not enuff minutes 2 call Especially Yours & ck on my refund. I was denied my refund of $39.99 for the wig I returned becaz I was using someone else's fone. Although I used my OWN email address & Credit card 2 pay for my order. I had 2 call my bank & have the charges reversed becaz they UNJUSTLY denied my refund. I don't owe them & have never ordered from them before & was treated unfairly.     This was the most awful low quality wig I every purchased. This use to be a great company back in the days and I was hoping it was still good. I cant believe you as a company purchased this wig, looked it over and still decided to sell it to your customers. It was poor quality and looked nothing like this pick except for the frizziness, look closer and it's there. I returned the same day I received it for a refund and I was told then it was a on sale and couldn't get a refund so not only poor quality, poor customer service.     What I received wasn’t what was pictured in the catalog or online. So I googled it, the color was at the wig.shop. The only recent I didn’t return it was because it was a gift from my husband and it would have hurt him. He didn’t know about color selection. What he selected was what he thought was in the picture.     I used to love Forever Young wigs. They were practically the only wig I wore. And I wear them full time so I know my stuff. When I opened this box, I could not believe it. Thin, rough, hair that looks like a rats nest. And the length on these is absolutely inaccurate. I have no idea what happened to Forever Young, but this is the second disaster of a wig that I have purchased from them. Lesson learned. Something happened and they have lost their quality. Check the dates on the positive reviews here and you'll see that they are all several years old. Then there's Vouge Wigs return policy. By the time I make this return, I would have spent fully half of what I paid for them on shipping, charges and random fees. Go take a thorough look at their return policy. It's a mess, and the customer gets screwed. So goodbye Forever Young and Vogue Wigs. I miss your former quality.Holly

    I bought this wig a long time ago and it sat in the box for a while. Finally pulled it out because my other curly wigs were just too hot this summer, and so glad I did. I get compliments all the time from people who have no idea it's a wig. I love seeing their shocked faces when I tell them. Anyway, the only reason it sat is bcs it's a bit shorter than I would like. I wish FY would make the exact same wig 2 inches longer. The curl is absolutely beautiful and matches my bio-hair curl. Very soft texture and good quality, no shedding. Holds curl without product so it stays soft and dry. No crunchy wet look. You can't beat this wig and definitely get more than you paid for. I trimmed the bangs a good 1/2 inch and that was it.     I’m very happy with this wig considering how inexpensive it is. The cap is comfortable and fit my larger head with no issues. I do wish it had clips, but I can add those on my own. The curls are glamorous without looking too overdone, and the bangs help the wig look more natural by covering the hairline. The hair is extremely shiny so I added some dry shampoo powder. I ordered the Honey Blonde which was actually more of a orange with blonde highlights, but it is still attractive.Haley

    Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility.     When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. Sorry PY but your wigs need to be lighter weight, lay nicer, (some of us like a bit flatter style) far less perma tease or fluff, easier to wear right out of the box…Thanks anyway…Juanita

    I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. The style does not resemble the picture at all !Eve
