You buy something like this to enhance or for costume wear. In my honest opinion, this is not realistic as real hair and will look like a wig. My biggest negative point would be that if you comb through the tangles (it does tangle easily), a good amount of hair does come off. Maybe because it's new, I do not know. The other minor thing, you can't really shape the wig at all, but I didn't expect it would do this anyway. I like to dress up and mainly bought this because I have natural, very long dark hair and wanted to try "red" without dyeing my hair. I do think this is an all around nice wig and it was a great price..included a wig cap and comb. But it always was a one time purchase for me and I never expected this to be or look like the real thing. I got it for when I dress up in something really sexy and want to be a redhead! 😉 For that, it works!! I only review this way for those who think this may be a passable or realistic look. My mom gave Solana to me, because she wasn’t really feeling the color on her. I think this color is called “Chocolate Flamboyage” and when I first tried her on I too wasn’t 100% in love with this color as well, and being new to wearing synthetic wigs I really didn’t know what to do with it either lol. I also purchased a pair of John Fashion sling back shoes which I absolutely loved. I returned The Ellie wig & requested a refund. Aft several days, I traced the US mail pkg & it had been received but I had not received my refund as requested. So I called a cpl times using my sister's fone becaz I had poor reception on my Gov fone & later not enuff minutes 2 call Especially Yours & ck on my refund. I was denied my refund of $39.99 for the wig I returned becaz I was using someone else's fone. Although I used my OWN email address & Credit card 2 pay for my order. I had 2 call my bank & have the charges reversed becaz they UNJUSTLY denied my refund. I don't owe them & have never ordered from them before & was treated unfairly. This was the most awful low quality wig I every purchased. This use to be a great company back in the days and I was hoping it was still good. I cant believe you as a company purchased this wig, looked it over and still decided to sell it to your customers. What I received wasn’t what was pictured in the catalog or online. So I googled it, the color was at the wig.shop. The only recent I didn’t return it was because it was a gift from my husband and it would have hurt him. He didn’t know about color selection. What he selected was what he thought was in the picture.
