I have to say that when I first used this adhesive….I didn't like it. I thought it wasn't holding my lace frontal down. But the problem was that I wasn't using this adhesive correctly. Folks….This adhesive works great….you just have to know how to use it. Check out you tube videos on how the adhesive is supposed to be dotted along your forehead (in front of your hairline) then use your blow dyer on cool and keep it on the area you applied the adhesive until it turns clear…then re dot again for your 2nd layer and repeat same steps with the dryer. Trust me it works. It's all about getting the hang of it. Now I haven't tested out the adhesive for more than 1 to 1.5 weeks. It's just my preference to clean the lace and re-apply after a week has gone by. But otherwise it does last for that amount of time. I've gone roller skating and sweated hard and my frontal was still in tact. Just when I got home after washing my face…I tied my hair line area up with a scarf. My frontal was still laid thekiyah.j
This glue holds your lace very well. I don't have to worry about it moving or slipping. I used 4 layers and took my time to let it dry. Be very careful not to let any of your baby hairs touch the glue. Beginners should cut the lace before applying and draw a faint line to guild where the glue should be because it's strong stuff. I’m not stranger to bonding glue for frontals and wigs. I have a lot of experience resetting and setting my frontals and wigs. And I can tell you this glue isn’t it. First of all, it’s not water proof which is a big NO for me, I love to workout and I definitely sweat. The moment water touched the glue when completely dried, it immediately dissolved. With ebin, I only have to spray it once and then it lifts right after the first minute. With ghostbond, I have to let it set for a minute, then blot, then spray again. I do this 3 times. I sprayed the oil on my wig that was starting to look dull. Once I sprayed it with the oil spray it bought back the shine and luster. Brushing through the hair was more manageable. Con- Not worth 1 star at all. Wouldve rated it 0 stars if I could. Came less than half full with leakage. Bought the real one on amazon before and compared. This one was fake. I have to say that when I first used this adhesive….I didn't like it. I thought it wasn't holding my lace frontal down. But the problem was that I wasn't using this adhesive correctly. Folks….This adhesive works great….you just have to know how to use it. Check out you tube videos on how the adhesive is supposed to be dotted along your forehead (in front of your hairline) then use your blow dyer on cool and keep it on the area you applied the adhesive until it turns clear…then re dot again for your 2nd layer and repeat same steps with the dryer. Trust me it works. It's all about getting the hang of it. Now I haven't tested out the adhesive for more than 1 to 1.5 weeks. It's just my preference to clean the lace and re-apply after a week has gone by. But otherwise it does last for that amount of time. I've gone roller skating and sweated hard and my frontal was still in tact. Just when I got home after washing my face…I tied my hair line area up with a scarf. My frontal was still laid thekiyah.j
This glue holds your lace very well. I don't have to worry about it moving or slipping. I used 4 layers and took my time to let it dry. Be very careful not to let any of your baby hairs touch the glue. Beginners should cut the lace before applying and draw a faint line to guild where the glue should be because it's strong stuff. So I brought this product to keep my wig on for a hen do so i didn't have to explain to anyone it wasn't my hair. It didn't last even 24 hours . when I emailed about the product they said that I needed the scalp protector before I used it also another 11 pound !! This adhesive rocks!.Once you get used to it's texture/consistency, you will love it. A little goes a long way. You can easily get 3 weeks of standard wear/hold time with his adhesive. It's easy to remove from your hairline and unit with a compatible adhesive remover. Make sure you do have good adhesive remover because this stuff adheres like no other. Ive been using many different types of glues for years and this one has to be the absolute worst! It doesnt even hold for long. Itll hold for a few hours and then immediately come loose. I have done many types of wig applications and all my clients absolutely hate this glue.janasugg

It is way better grip and really water proof. The other glue and hair piece I use to wear was cheap, and the glue was more like Elmer's glue than this. The Pro's out weigh the con's though I would say three to one. The only draw back is it doesn't last more than three to four days if you are lucky.stephajanosi_0
Well I wanted something that stayed and boy did this ever! Day one, I couldn't get the piece off my head. Day 2, still quite secure. Day 3, I got it off and for the next couple of days I did not need a tack down because there was still residue on the piece. I used to absolutely love this product have been using it for 5 years and even longer for other shea products. until recently I purchased a new one and the product looks totally different. It no longer looks like an almost clear creamy gel. It's like a lotion and doesn't nothing for my moisture or curl. Thankful I have one more bottle of the original formula because I used to buy more than one at a time since it's my daily use. However, I will be moving to other products because the new formula isn't keeping my hair hydrated and I have breakage now. I used to rave to people about this product and get so many compliments on my hair health. This was the only product I found to work great with my platinum blonde natural cut. A decent product for anyone who has wavy hair. It helps hold in waves or natural small curls. However the consistency of this product is a but thick and leaves hair sticky. This can be solved by using a small amount of product rather than a lot. The smell is pretty nice as well! Definitely not my favorite product, only bought to try because it was on clearance. I use this everyday to lay down my edges and keep frizz at bay…and it works. It keeps my hair shiny (not greasy) all day long. Before I started using this product, I used Shea Moisture's Coconut and Hibiscus Curly Gel Souffle every other day to keep frizz down..this has been put to the side. In terms of residue, I tend to use a different product underneath this lacquer. So, there will be residue because of the other products. When my hair is clean and I use this, I get no white residue. Since I use this everyday, I spritz some water to refresh and then use this lacquer. I keep it in the refrigerator to keep it solid, when its completely liquid, it is less effective (at least for me). This 4 oz jar lasted me two months. I bought this at Sally's and I wasn't to sure but I tried it anyway because a had a few units that needed a pick me up. It really did work well on both human and synthetic units. On my synthetic ones it didn't leave it heavy or greasy at all, and detangling was very easy. Its suprising light and has a clean smell. It has no parabens, no mineral oil, no petroleum, no phthalate and no animal testing. It revived all my pieces. Definitely will purchase againelyse.s
