I mainly purchased this unit because I wanted a little more length at the top. When I first purchased the Mommy wig before it became super popular a few years ago it was constructed so much better. It's thin in the front with tracks sewn weirdly. I had my original to compare. They mostly look like rush jobs. I thought the Mommy II would be better and closer to the original. It has longer lengths on each side which is what I was looking for. However the cap is bigger than the regular mommy wig and I found it too hard to work with. I trimmed the edges and dyed it and it looked nice but I have a small head so I found it just too awkward. I will stick with the Mommy original for a short style. Its not as snug of a fit and I couldn't make it work. Not a bad wig if you have a medium to large head but not really for small heads. Though it depends how you wear it.C M.
Didn't Use It. I love the Mommy Wig but I've gotten it in 4/30, 4/24 and 4/27/30 No one has these colors, but I trust and used Ebonyline always. I ordered this hopping that the color would work. I own 2 of these beautiful wigs. It is a fabulous color P27-30-33. The cap is breathable and I don't melt while playing tennis in south Alabama. It is super easy to style with a straightener, curling iron and even hot rollers. I have had these over a year and wear them every day. My only complaint is that after a few months you do have to carefully flat iron the ends especially at the nape of the neck because the hair gets very frizzy and course. I wash them in the recommended wig clenser and conditioner and that helps maintain them. Fantastic product and a great buy. I am ordering another.Ceige
This is a gorgeous piece. It's the perfect length and the volume is nice. The fibers are soft yet there is a density to the wig which makes it feel lush. I got this in FS 4-27. It is chocolaty brown with some warmer caramel highlights. I wear a wig everyday and was excited to love this so much. I do push the hairline back about an inch and comb my own bangs into the wig for a more natural look… Will definitely reorder!

Hair is shedding as I unpack it from original package. Ends and curls are frizzy and does not look as shown on website. I called I was told it will cost me about $10 to exchange. Why? I ordered two of these wig styles. I wore the gray one to a mother's day brunch. As I was standing by my car, a lady called out Madia as she was passing by in her car. She thought I looked like the Tyler Perry character. I will never wear that wig again. The black one was designed with way too much hair. The hair does not fall correctly and it has too many layers. Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. I now own three Flirt Alert wigs, this is my absolute favorite for several reasons. I wear my wigs every day, all day. I need a wig that holds up well to daily use. I find the tangling and matting of the longer wigs to be unbearable! Well let me tell you…flirt alert holds up well!! She is soft and silky, bouncy and beautiful…the 4 inch nape keeps her from matting…I get so many compliments when I wear her. I have been wearing wigs since breast cancer caused my already thinning hair to fall out. Due to POS and a hormone blocker I will take for a few more years, my hair had no chance at coming back to anything resembling a full head. I've played around with a few styles, staying mostly with bobs, which was close to my hairstyle before chemo and I was comfortable with. I decided to take the plunge and go for a shorter, easier style and came upon Advanced French. Ordered in a lighter color (RL 14/22, Pale Golden Wheat) as my own hair is mostly white and a golden blonde. The wig came and it immediately seemed to brighten my face and is a very youthful style, not that at 64 yrs. I want to look like a kid, but every little bit helps. I had it on when the husband came home from work and he didn't have to say anything for me to know he approved. Its fun, easy and for a short style, has some styling options. Just received my Big Deal in Shaded Biscuit. She was out of stock for a while, so I jumped on this order when she became available again, and I'm so glad I did! The fibers are silky soft with los of swingy, natural movement. She's comfortable and can go from daytime to evening easily. Big Time and Upstage are about the longest lengths I'll wear; anything longer jus doesn't look like me. I'm petite, for reference. Also, I have only brushed this wig upside down before putting it on. I've had this wig over a year now (15-16 months). I absolutely love the look but even with caring for it and brushing it daily (the days I wore it) the very back gets severely tangled. I will still wear the wig, but only if I want to be bothered with brushing longer than usual. If you wear wigs often I recommend maybe switching wigs out, but either way this is a great wig for the price. Bought it on Amazon for $17 so I can't really complain. I looked for the style most like hers, Winner, by Raquel Welch, and after a second attempt of matching color, found perfect, light brown with grey. I am new to wig-wearing. My bio hair is about 75% gray, and I do have a full head of hair that I keep cut in a very short style. I decided to start wearing wigs because I wanted more variety in hair styles as well as colors. Winner was a good choice for me lengthwise to start my wig-wearing-journey. However, I wish I had been much bolder in my initial color and length range. Since then I've warmed up to taking more risks. Winner (average) is a bit large for my head. My truest measurement falls between petite and average. Overall, I must admit, Winner has been my winning choice in more ways than I care to acknowledge. NOTE: Service/ delivery is very efficient.
Delivery was fabulous, 7 days to Indonesia and I love the way customs is included. This is my third Winner wig, I find the style comfortable and versatile. My other two wigs are brown but I wanted to try some highlights as I had them when I was younger. I think the routed wigs look more natural so I chose Shaded Cappuccino SS12/22. I hunted all over the web for a review or You Tube video for Winner in that colour but could only find longer styles. In the end I ordered it anyway. When it arrived I hated it, I thought the roots made me look like a skunk, and if I lived in the US I would have sent it back. Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. Sorry PY but your wigs need to be lighter weight, lay nicer, (some of us like a bit flatter style) far less perma tease or fluff, easier to wear right out of the box…Thanks anyway…Juanita
I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. I'm usually going for mid length to long haired wigs. I wanted to try something knew and go outside my comfort zone for my birthday. I'm so glad that I did. EVERYONE was complementing me! I own this in the Light Blonde. The fibers look like natural hair. The wig hugs the nape of neck like natural hair. Of all the different brands that I’ve purchased over the past 7 years, this was the most natural right out of the box. I did trim the front for bangs, which I think give wigs a more natural and real looking hairline. I’ll purchase another when the price is lower. By the way, I believe the size is average. I typically order petite if available, but this fit like a petite. So if you have a larger head, it may not fit properly. For me, it’s very comfortable. (I always had baby fine hair, but after many chemo treatments, my hair is half of what it is was. So not much there. But the convenience of wearing wigs and not having to worry about bad hair days because of rain, snow, humidity, wind, etc. is a blessing)Sharon
