I ordered two of these wig styles. I wore the gray one to a mother's day brunch. As I was standing by my car, a lady called out Madia as she was passing by in her car. She thought I looked like the Tyler Perry character. I will never wear that wig again. The black one was designed with way too much hair. The hair does not fall correctly and it has too many layers. I purchased 2 wigs. The Tango & the Ellie (which I returned because I didnt like it). The Tango was everything I expected. I also purchased a pair of John Fashion sling back shoes which I absolutely loved. I returned The Ellie wig & requested a refund. Aft several days, I traced the US mail pkg & it had been received but I had not received my refund as requested. This was the most awful low quality wig I every purchased. This use to be a great company back in the days and I was hoping it was still good. This is my first time ordering I live in Canada Ontario, the wig took 9 days to come ( a little over a week). It was long, loose curls and baby hair straight out the package. Fit perfectly fine on my head I fixed the straps to my liking. Unit was 13×6 parting space, lace was light. Volume of the wig wasn’t the best compared to other sensationnel wigs, felt like a synthetic wig. The colour was burgundy wine however on my dark complexion it looked more red not burgundy. My mom gave Solana to me, because she wasn’t really feeling the color on her. I think this color is called “Chocolate Flamboyage” and when I first tried her on I too wasn’t 100% in love with this color as well, and being new to wearing synthetic wigs I really didn’t know what to do with it either lol. This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. STYLE: Very natural yaki looking wig style wise. The hairline however needs work. There's nothing natural looking about it. LACE: simi soft and blended with my brown skin perfectly. SIZING: I would say this is small cap. I only put the straps on the 3rd latch and it felt extremely tight and secure. The back however didn't lay down a perfect as the back.
Colour P99J/530. This was my first lace front human hair wig and I'm very pleased with my purchase. She was so soft when she came out of the box, but needed a lot of TLC after the first wear. After conditioning the wig and styling it, it's back to that baby soft feel and it's lasting more than one wear. I now own three Flirt Alert wigs, this is my absolute favorite for several reasons. I wear my wigs every day, all day. I need a wig that holds up well to daily use. I find the tangling and matting of the longer wigs to be unbearable! Well let me tell you…flirt alert holds up well!! I have been wearing wigs since breast cancer caused my already thinning hair to fall out. Color was perfect and I’ve had many compliments. Nice quality and cap size fits me really well. I have a smaller head but this avg cap fits great. Only complaint is that there seem to be a lot of shorter hairs sticking up at the crown. I’ve tried to mouse them down to no avail. I hope washing and conditioning will calm it down. I love Raquel’s wig quality and they last longer than any other I’ve tried.

I find it funny that because I stated I was highly disappointed in the wig I purchased from this website they deleted my review. Well here we are again. I have no problem putting my review up here again. The quality of the wig its self was slightly decent when it comes to the feel and texture of the hair however I could not find the part in this wig like the picture shows and the other review that was posted. Also the wig looks like its missing hair in the front. Its clearly visible that this is a wig. Stick with buying at your local beauty stores. Hair is shedding as I unpack it from original package. Ends and curls are frizzy and does not look as shown on website. I called I was told it will cost me about $10 to exchange. Why? Merchandise is of poor quality, cut-throat customer service. I am not happy and can't wear this wig. I refuse to exchange for a fee. This is a beautiful wig at an unbelievable price. You can wear as is or curl it with hot curlers. The first one I purchased lasted about 6 months. I think it may have lasted longer but I like it curled. This recent purchase I bought two. This wig is BY FAR my favorite wig from this collection! Not only does the scalp look SO real, but the hair texture is close to my own when it's blow dried out so it looks really natural. I did not have to do ANYTHING to it–no plucking, no make up on the lace, nada. I literally wore it right out of the box after cutting the lace. The wig is beautifulllll I was looking for a curly wig for my birthday and this was just that; perfect! It’s very voluminous and it’s giving pageant Queen lol. I’ve seen some ppl cut it to shoulder length but nahhh I love it just the way it is. I raked through it with a wide tooth comb and it’s just so bouncy. Love this unit. I ordered a #2 from this site; still waiting for that one to arrive. However, couldn’t wait and went to my local BSS and purchased the Flamboyage Auburn. Ba-by! Honey child! This is the gurl right here! Love the color. It’s very complimentary to my skin tone. Cons: you will need to pluck the hairline and I pulled out my edges because I couldn’t get the baby hairs to work. Some folk on YouTube say the cap is small but it fits my head just fine and I have a medium to large head. Just lovely and sexy at the same time. I own 2 of these beautiful wigs. It is a fabulous color P27-30-33. The cap is breathable and I don't melt while playing tennis in south Alabama. It is super easy to style with a straightener, curling iron and even hot rollers. I have had these over a year and wear them every day. My only complaint is that after a few months you do have to carefully flat iron the ends especially at the nape of the neck because the hair gets very frizzy and course. I wash them in the recommended wig clenser and conditioner and that helps maintain them. Fantastic product and a great buy. I am ordering another.Ceige
This is a gorgeous piece. It's the perfect length and the volume is nice. The fibers are soft yet there is a density to the wig which makes it feel lush. I got this in FS 4-27. It is chocolaty brown with some warmer caramel highlights. I wear a wig everyday and was excited to love this so much. I do push the hairline back about an inch and comb my own bangs into the wig for a more natural look… Will definitely reorder!

My mother, 85, jokingly said one day how she needed a wig because her hair was thinning and she was have trouble fixing it herself. She goes to the hairdresser once a week, but that doesn't guarantee a week of good looking hair. I decided to check out wigs. I looked for the style most like hers, Winner, by Raquel Welch, and after a second attempt of matching color, found perfect, light brown with grey. It looks just like her hair after she leaves her hairdresser. She wore it all day the first day and didn't even remember she had it on until my dad remarked that her hair looked good that day. I am new to wig-wearing. My bio hair is about 75% gray, and I do have a full head of hair that I keep cut in a very short style. I decided to start wearing wigs because I wanted more variety in hair styles as well as colors. Winner was a good choice for me lengthwise to start my wig-wearing-journey. However, I wish I had been much bolder in my initial color and length range. Since then I've warmed up to taking more risks. Winner (average) is a bit large for my head. My truest measurement falls between petite and average. Overall, I must admit, Winner has been my winning choice in more ways than I care to acknowledge. NOTE: Service/ delivery is very efficient.
Delivery was fabulous, 7 days to Indonesia and I love the way customs is included. This is my third Winner wig, I find the style comfortable and versatile. My other two wigs are brown but I wanted to try some highlights as I had them when I was younger. I think the routed wigs look more natural so I chose Shaded Cappuccino SS12/22. I hunted all over the web for a review or You Tube video for Winner in that colour but could only find longer styles. In the end I ordered it anyway. When it arrived I hated it, I thought the roots made me look like a skunk, and if I lived in the US I would have sent it back. Well, I finally learned my lesson. I cannot purchase clearance items any longer since every time I have, there has been something either wrong with the wig (manufacturing) or something I didn't like and there are no returns. There wasn't anything wrong with this piece. She just had way too much hair and the fibers were so dry they were like straw. It is a beautiful warm color but the density, the permatease and the dry fibers made this difficult to pull off. I thinned it out and tried to tame the permatease but it just didn't work. Plus, the fibers were like doll hair and so that was a dead giveaway. This was the third JR piece and all have pretty dry fibers. Is this normal? I did receive the piece quickly and as always WS1 is around to answer any questions.E.N.
I am a first time buyer, trying to figure out what fits and how to wear the wigs. I ordered 3 wigs in this first order, and two of them I can adjust and work with. But "Gwen" has very short hair and it looks nothing like the pictures! I had it on my head for a few seconds and couldn't stand the very short hair with no shape at all. It looked like a hedgehog, The color is nice, but this wig is too small, too short hair for my plus size figure: Gwen Wig by Jon Renau STRAWBERRY BLONDE AND WARM PLATINUM BLONDE BLENDED & TIPPED W STRAWBERRY BLONDE NAPE (27T613F). In all fairness, I only had it on my head a few seconds and took it off right away, I didn't try to make it look better, afraid to ruin the chance for return. It might be ok for someone else, but at 62 yrs old and plus size figure, that little wig was not even funny! I filled out the return label for "Gwen" but keeping the other two, with medium length hair: "Blushing Beauty" Wig by Gabor | Mono Part GL16/27 and the "Salsa" Wig by Raquel Welch | Large Cap R14/88H Golden Wheat. Those two are a bit large and I need to learn to adjust the tabs in the back, and I also need to figure out from the videos how to "style" them with my fingers so they look good for me. This is a cute summer wig for someone who doesn't want permatese. It's low density. I got 22F16 there is not enough dimension for me but I do feel someone looking for a well made no permatese, low density piece would be very happy with it. I did have lots of thick hair & I like some poof on top.I was going to give it away but it is growing on me using dry shampoo,piece out & hair spray. Even tho it's symmetrical you can achieve a asymmetrical look with some tucking. I have noticed many reviews/comments on various pieces that I feel expectations are often unrealistic. Let's face it we all don't look like the beautiful ladies,Eileen,Marlen or Taz much less the models. I have found often if I think I don't like something if I change my makeup,color I'm wearing wait a few days,wear it around the house,often one I thought I would send back grows on me. Also often they just need a bit of tweaking with a small trim here & there to make it my own. I imagine very few can just take most of them out of the box with INSTANT SUCCESS ! Even I expected it at 1st & being a Master Stylist (retired) should have known better. I guess what I'm trying to say to all those who are new like me is to be patient.S N.

I ordered this wig in buttered toast. I don’t think it does the wig justice. In the picture on the internet the colors give the wig much more depth and separation. Mine just looks like it lies flat on my head. It therefore looks more like a wig. I have been ordering my wigs from Wiltshire, but lately I have been disappointed in my choices. I love my True Demure in Shaded Sunkissed Beige! True Demure has lots of layers which are easy to style with your fingers into cute styles with lots of volume. The cap is very comfortable. True Demure is one of those wigs you can throw on, finger style and forget about for the rest of the day. I was a little nervous about the sunkissed beige color as it is a lot lighter than the darker blondes I am used to. Now I love it. This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT
Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. I just wish I had discovered wigs many years ago when I started losing my bio hair would have saved me many tears when I was buying every product out there to get my hair back. I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.
