After I received my order it was apparent that the color was just not a good one for me. I had ordered two wigs, both the same color and found that in person they were just very fake and not a natural look at all. I sent them back and then after reading the instruction found that over half the amount I paid for them was to be deducted due to the various charges they put on returns. A few months ago, I ordered the "Alex" wig. I love it! I ordered a second one so that I would always have it ready. While the first one was – and stil is – perfect, the second one is straggly and sloppy looking. When I first took it out of the box and followed directions (shaking, etc,) it looked ok. I received the wig in a couple of weeks of ordering..I tried it on but it kept slipping off my head. The velcro tapes were set to the tightest setting. I took the wig to my hairdresser thinking it should be cut as the style was so weird.. She told me to wash it first in fairly hot water so some of the crushing from shipping would come out.. I live in Canada so not an option to return the wig with the high postage, tax paid and the exchange rate…. So I bought some crazy glue to cinch up the elastic tapes making them shorter.. that was a total mess as the glue did not adhere the same as my other many wigs have done when the elastic stretched out.. I then pinched the material together to sew it on each side to tighten to fit my head.. I have always worn an average size wig… This one with that hard thick cone or dome inside was something else!!! Why did I take the added expense of a hairdresser as well as buying the glue?? The color of the wig and the style now that I have the cap fitting properly suits me to no end!! I look stunning in it and it looks like my own hair. My hairdresser says it does not look at all like a wig….So I made all of these compromises! I suggest that they make this Wig in all sizes so we don't have to glue or sew our fingers trying to make them smaller than Average. I love this blush in the summer when I need a bit of a boost on my cheeks for going out after doing some sun loving activities. I have sensitive skin, so when working outdoors I can only have sunscreen. So I used this product for 3 weeks. The first week I used it every 2 days because my skin is combination oily and dehydrated. Sure enough I peeled around my nostrils and a little dry on my cheeks. I skipped about 5 days during week 2 and on week 3 decided to use it on Sunday night and Thursday night and I must say I noticed my skin looked brighter and little clearer. I didn’t think much of it but I believe this product helped me. I use a retinol product once a week and stopped while trying this product out. So I have combination skin and occasionally get break outs during that time of the month but have always had blackheads on my nose and chin area! I usually use the ordinary’s peeling solution and Paula’s choice BHA liquid exfoliant and love them but I gave this a try! I tried this a few times a week for a month and I actually noticed a difference after the first few times of use! The blackheads and pores on my nose and chin area seemed less noticeable, of course the serum didn’t magically make them go away but it definitely did help to minimize the look of them on my face when I didn’t have makeup on. I primarily used it on my nose and chin because that’s where I had the problem areas I wanted to fix. I do have really sensitive skin, however I didn’t break out or have any skin irritation or redness after using this. The serum itself doesn’t really have any strong odor in my opinion and it doesn’t leave you feeling sticky at all. It does take a few minutes to sink it but I don’t mind that as I just go change into my PJ’s! The bottle and syringe is also very nice and easy to use. When I first tried out this product I was a little hesitant as I haven’t known Shea Moisture to be a face skincare brand, but instead have use their hair and body products. I personally love AHA/BHA products, I think they are great for reducing texture on your skin as well as helping with acne. That being said if you have very sensitive skin this might not be a product for you, as this ingredient typically leaves the skin a little bit red. I personally would only use this 2 times a week until you can work up to using it every other night. This wig is so wonderful! I literally was able to cut the extra lace off and put it on! It laid flat. The hair part looks so natural, no need for makeup unless you’d prefer a darker look. I'm leaving this review as a warning! I can say that I did not use this product long enough to discuss its efficacy, as I had a reaction to it and had to return it. I'm not sure whether or not this experience is unique, but wanted to share it. I used the product as advised, once. The next day (over 24 hours after use), I was doing yoga, and noticed that my face started to feel very swollen, specifically under my eyes. I thought it was strange, given that I don't have any allergies or anything. I went to bed and thought I looked pretty tired but nothing out of the ordinary. The next day when I woke up my eyes were so swollen that it looked like I had been crying all night, or maybe had an injury. This went on for FIVE DAYS. The only thing I can attest it to is the titan. I returned it immediately, and didn't use it again. So my fine lines disappeared…because my face was swollen. I wish I had have taken pictures of my eyes, but didn't think of this until now!k.b
I bought the Silk'n Titan in February 2022 and was hoping for some improved skin, but nothing. I used it exactly as instructed and waited until May to properly review it, but I saw no changes. I have been using this device 2 times a week for seven weeks and have noticed a significant difference in my skin. Fine lines have disappeared and the deeper wrinkles are minimized. It works for me! I'm medium (olive/tan skin) and I was worried it wouldn't work but so far its not painful for me and I can see a difference in hair. It doesn't do a good job with my thick chin hairs but it's great for upper lip that are finer hairs and for my legs and pits. I purchased this product last summer and began using it immediately. I love that I don't need to purchase gels to use with this, like many other machines, because I'm allergic to the ingredients in the gels. I used this for 5 weeks and really began seeing results mid-summer. I had to discontinue use of this due to pregnancy. However, it's February now, and I can still see the results. I still have a lot of hair growth, because I didn't use it for the full 8 weeks, but all hair that was removed during the summer is still gone. It has not grown back. Please understand that hair grows in cycles. This machine is only supposed to be used once per week for 8 weeks…possibly a little longer. While we may be impatient and want to get faster results, using it more frequently will not yield faster/better results because hair grows in cycles. You can't kill hair growth after you already killed it. You also can't kill hair growth that is not in active growing stage yet. I really started to notice results after 4 weeks of use because I was able to see the thinning of the hair that was growing in. After the 8 weeks of use are done, you may still need to use a round of it from time to time, as we develop new hair follicles every so often. This does not mean that the machine doesn't work. It simply means, your body is producing more hair follicles. This machine promises to get results in the same amount of time as getting your hair professionally removed. Compared to the price of that, this machine is pennies! I can't wait to start using it again and hopefully be finished with my use of it by summer time so I don't have to deal with shaving so much during the summer, ugh! The only negative I can say about this machine is that the light is incredibly bright…making it uncomfortable to use when you have a migraine. I too had high hopes for this product after having done lots of research. I too have fair skin and dark hair which should be the ideal combination for success. I followed all manufacturers recommendations for preparation prior to use. I "used up" the flash head that came with the unit and the overall result is absolutely no change in either the amount of hair or it's rate of regrowth. (Reality check…. the flash is used up when it no longer fires…. not after 5000 or however many flashes. That is a scam on an already overpriced item of questionable value) I went so far as to only use the unit on the high setting and was doing two, 10 minute sessions per day. Still no visible results. Great packaging…… convincing sales and video presentation on the ME web site……. but none of those things translate into an effective device. For what it does the price should be in the $10 to $15 dollar range. For close to $400 I expect to see results. Do not buy! It's a huge waste of money.BikerReverend
