Hair is shedding as I unpack it from original package. Ends and curls are frizzy and does not look as shown on website. I called I was told it will cost me about $10 to exchange. Why? This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. I love this half wig so much that I've purchased it twice! It blends so well with my natural texture. It's so soft and curly. There's an adjustable strap at the back, plus, a comb at the front and one at the back. I simply part a section of hair at the front of my head from ear to ear and French braid the rest to the back. I have ordered several wigs from Paula Young & have been totally satisfied! The customer service is excellent. The prices are very reasonable! I have to admit, The Sheer Drama wig that I received a couple weeks ago or less, was my first disappointment. The cap is so sheer, that you can see dark hand tied knots a lot through the top. The wig color is Platinum 101. The dark knots actually made me squeamish! They looked like it had lice throughout it!! This would be a good wig for someone who is not new to wearing wigs. Straight out of the box the wig had a strong plastic like smell. After washing the smell was much less, but still there. Hoping this will fade with time. I have a large head but took a chance and ordered this anyway (average size). It fits very comfortably. The description says ""100% hand tied"". It is not. The top half is hand tied, the bottom half is sewn wefts. The hair is thick enough to be styled in a messy updo. The hand tied knots,on the top, are not bleached. If you order a medium to dark color it shouldn't be a big problem. If you are a light color you will need to camouflage them. This is not a lace front. There is a fabric band across the hairline that will make styling challenging. This would be a very comfortable wig if you had little to no hair. If you are willing to spend time working with your wig this could be a good choice for you.Raven
This is my first wig. I did my research, and chose Sheer Drama. I lov the waves and style My hair is long but falling out. I live in South Florida so my hair does not keep any curl in the humidity . Ok I thought perfect, I’ll have a full head of wavy hair and the color is a perfect match. Sadly I have a small head and cannot keep the wig on no matter what I do. I bought a grip but no help. After I received my order it was apparent that the color was just not a good one for me. I had ordered two wigs, both the same color and found that in person they were just very fake and not a natural look at all. I sent them back and then after reading the instruction found that over half the amount I paid for them was to be deducted due to the various charges they put on returns. A few months ago, I ordered the "Alex" wig. I love it! I ordered a second one so that I would always have it ready. While the first one was – and stil is – perfect, the second one is straggly and sloppy looking. When I first took it out of the box and followed directions (shaking, etc,) it looked ok. I put it aside til I could get a styrofoam head. Once I put it on that, it showed itself. I cannot wear it. I have not worn it. I received the wig in a couple of weeks of ordering..I tried it on but it kept slipping off my head. The velcro tapes were set to the tightest setting. I took the wig to my hairdresser thinking it should be cut as the style was so weird.. She told me to wash it first in fairly hot water so some of the crushing from shipping would come out.. Seriously after wearing it for 30 seconds it looked like I was a cone head!! The inside just above the bangs there is a circle of heavy knit capping.. Not the stretch lace like the rest of the wig liner is made from…This is advertised as a whisper lite wig?…My head dripped with sweat in a few minutes as it just does not breathe the same as my other wigs? My hairdresser suggested it not be cut but to somehow get it made smaller. I have Alopecia so have bought and worn wigs for some years. I have always had wigs come with a stretchy lace type liner with metal adjustable clips on the elastic straps. I live in Canada so not an option to return the wig with the high postage, tax paid and the exchange rate…. So I bought some crazy glue to cinch up the elastic tapes making them shorter.. that was a total mess as the glue did not adhere the same as my other many wigs have done when the elastic stretched out.. I then pinched the material together to sew it on each side to tighten to fit my head.. I have always worn an average size wig… This one with that hard thick cone or dome inside was something else!!! Why did I take the added expense of a hairdresser as well as buying the glue?? The color of the wig and the style now that I have the cap fitting properly suits me to no end!! I look stunning in it and it looks like my own hair. My hairdresser says it does not look at all like a wig….So I made all of these compromises! I suggest that they make this Wig in all sizes so we don't have to glue or sew our fingers trying to make them smaller than Average. I recently received my Becky, and was so disappointed. The color was beautiful, but the hair was wild and straight. It looked like it had been harshly brushed out, and was very dry. I shook it , sprayed it with PY conditioner, but had to cut some bangs and wear it anyway, as I needed to return the beautiful, long Gayle, as it was too long and young looking for me at 74. If you love curls, then Becky's the girl for you! She's surprisingly lightweight and cool. She has a beautiful lace front that is not itchy at all and a mono part. I got Becky in the Swedish blonde which is a rooted color. It's beautiful and what you see in the picture is what you get. I've been a wig wearer everyday and all day for the past four years and can tell you that this is a great wig and the price is fantastic! I have a 21" circumference head so am a petite average and the fit and coverage is perfect for my smaller head!!! This makes me so happy as so many wigs are just too large for me. I would tell you to NOT comb through this wig but simply finger comb through and loosen up the curls when you first get her out of the box, otherwise you will definitely look like a "doll head." I wear claw clips to pull hair back, or headbands to change up the look and it all looks great! I've already ordered a second Becky and I'm sure it won't be my last!Cynthia

I saw this wig on a friend and it was very becoming to her. I love the color of my wig. It’s light brown with golden bronze highlights. I was a little uncomfortable with the tight curls, but I pulled it out in the front to make bangs. I received so many compliments I started to feel comfortable. I was told that it made me look younger. Yeah!!Delia
did not like the tight curls. I thought they would be much looser. the color was perfect. I was also susrprised at all the additional taxes that brought the price up much more than I expected. I do know there are taxes on the merchandise. I had already cut the tags off the wig and did not realize it could be returned. I will continue to order from you but I will look carefully at the product prior to trying it on and removing the tags.Gayle
I chose the auburn color which is complementary to my skin tone. The pops of brown and blonde add some interest. Most over the counter wigs are too tight on my head and by the end of the day I have a headache. But this one fits excellently. I like the fact that where hooks usually are this one has Velcro. I am amazed at how many compliments I have gotten when wearing this wig. It looks very natural. At 73 years of age this week helps me to look years younger!Deborah
