But it turned out to look really cute on me, and I appreciate how the fullness on top balances out some of my facial features (and my large glasses), while the shag style also gives me some length in back. The melted marshmallow color looks good, too, although the pale tips aren't as obvious as they would be on a straighter, less layered style like Alva or Kai. The dark root does a good job of camouflaging the permatease at the part. The wig is also remarkably light and breathable. I think the fit is just a little on the petite side of average – I'm just over 21.5 inches in circumference with close-shaved hair, and it fits fine without taking in the adjusters. There seems to be a decent amount of stretch if you're larger than me, so it may work for someone up to 22 inches, or someone with more hair than me. I should note that Storm wasn't a true "shake & go" wig out of the box. The ends in back weren't always as flippy as the photos showed, and some of the bangs stuck straight out in front, even after misting with water. I used a steamer on the bangs to get them to lie where I wanted them and will eventually work on the flipped ends in back. I'd be more annoyed at this if I'd paid a lot more money, but I'm willing to accept a certain amount of work on my part for a basic cap at an affordable price point. I ordered this in creamy toffee rooted after having it in mochachino. Somehow it looked better in the darker color. It's a beautiful wig if you can pin down the sides near the top, reducing the retro looking volume. I think this style is best suited for someone more statuesque. It's cute but it looks dated on me. Possibly just too young of a look at this point. The creamy toffee color though was very nice on this style, a little less gold with more light blonde running through it. I should note that Storm wasn't a true "shake & go" wig out of the box. The ends in back weren't always as flippy as the photos showed, and some of the bangs stuck straight out in front, even after misting with water. I used a steamer on the bangs to get them to lie where I wanted them and will eventually work on the flipped ends in back. I'd be more annoyed at this if I'd paid a lot more money, but I'm willing to accept a certain amount of work on my part for a basic cap at an affordable price point. I was so pleased to see that the Sky wig was available in a large size as most of the wigs I'd seen in a large were not really my style. Sky Large is just my cup of tea though and I'm delighted with her. The cut would suit most ages but it works especially well for me as I'm now in my mid 60s… I even took the plunge and decided to 'embrace the grey', choosing the Sandy Silver. I've received quite a few compliments and feel quite glamorous when I'm wearing her. She's so easy to style and when I took her out of the box a quick shake and a run-through with my wide-toothed comb had me looking salon-perfect in minutes. I have this wig in the colour R6/28 F which is chestnut brown with red frost. I would say that the highlights look more blond/golden than I expected but looks good either way since they are evenly divided throughout. The fibers are smooth with fine density. A little shiny, but not too much. The wig is cut in layers that gives a lift to the face and a feminine shape. The length is practical with the longest locks in front and short hair in the neck. It would be a good to idea to ruffle the middle part a bit as the zigzag middle part may seem a little too perfect. I generally like that the hair color is not in one color/solid as it can make it clearer that it is a wig by giving a clearer contrast to the face – especially with light skin tone. The lace front presses a little into the forehead and there could have been a larger amount of hair. If you are completely bare for your own hair, then this lace front can give away that it isn’t your own hair line – but then again, this can be improved by changing the middle parting. The cap is comfortable. Overall good value and a safe choice straight out of the box.Kristin
my new Avalon wig is a disappointment. I loved it when I first got it, but she tangles constantly. It's much more excessive than the normal tangle. I noticed the density is lighter than the Avalon from a few years ago. I'm not sure if they changed the fiber itself, or if I got a dud. The nape on most wigs tangle and you have to use the wide tooth comb and detangling spray throughout the day. This wig is in a constant state of matting and tangles at the nape, and even the outside portion of the sides and back that do not touch clothes are just constantly tangling, the fibers are also looking frizzy very quickly, not something that usually happens on the parts of the synthetic wigs that don't come in contact with clothes. I can't return it, I already cut out the tags and adjusters, I am just surprised that this is happening this quickly on this wig. I know my Finns in Americano and Toffee Latte wore out at the bottom sooner than the normal colors, I figured it was due to the hand painted colors at the end, when I had my MacKenzie in 8/12 those fibers lasted. That's why I chose a regular color on Avalon I figured it would have been better than the coffee collection colors. But this wig is not holding up. I did at the suggestion of Amy @ wigstudio1 try a conditioning treatment, I used the Estetica conditioner and the Bamboo Silicon and the fibers still look matted, frizzy and almost like the fibers were razored. I've only had this wig less than 2 weeks. Most synthetics last substantially longer for months and years.cecelia g.
I had originally purchased Orchid in Iced Mocha, but that color was on back order until the end of May, so I went with Caramel Kiss. It’s not the perfect color for me, as I prefer cooler tones, but she’s absolutely STUNNING! The only thing I really struggle with about the color is the one harsh and chunky blonde streak towards the front. Everywhere else, the colors are beautifully and lightly streaked and blend very well. I lean more to a petite size, so she does shift if I don’t use “It Stays,” even with tightening the straps. I also wish the permatease wasn’t so thick at the temples. Her movement is flawless and she looks very natural. Although, the knotting at the hairline is a bit thick and very dark. I did carefully pluck a little and feel better about the lace front, now. The length is perfect for me as it’s the length I’m used to wearing with my bio hair (until I recently cut it to fit better under wigs). She’s my first wig, with Heat by Jon Renau being my second. So, we’re still getting acquainted. But, the more I reach for her, the more comfortable I’m becoming wearing her. I’ve been suffering hair loss for ten years since having a radical hysterectomy due to uterine cancer. So, to have a thick and healthy head of hair, via wigs, has been a wonderful experience. I am a full time wig wearer for the past 2 years due to hair loss after menopause. In the beginning I poured over internet sites in an effort to educate myself and hopefully find a solution. As luck would have it I chose a winner my first try. Sky by Noriko is a mid-length, layered style with a volumized crown and feathered back. It was so comical the first time I wore her to a holiday party and a gentleman I hadn't seen in 5 years introduced me to his wife and told her how much better I looked today since I stopped bleaching my hair. Little did he know I was wearing my newest and best beauty secret. That singular incident gave me the courage to try new colours and styles and today I have no stigma whatsoever about wearing wigs. Colours shown are Mochacinno R and Nutmeg F. This wig is so versatile that I even use a claw clip in the back and a hair wrap to achieve a mock up-do Pros Trendy – yet classic. Youthful style. Cons Wig cap is too tight. I cut two places in the back of the band on each side and sew in elastic strips to enlarge.
I now have two sky wigs. I read all the reviews and decided to purchase this wig, hoping it would be at last the one for me. I have purchased many wigs, to my disappointment all of them, except for my very first purchase of the Skylar wig, have worked for me. This sky wig seemed to be a lot like the Skylar wig (which is very expensive) so I decided to give it a try. Yayyyy finally I have a wig that looks good on me and is reasonable in price. I am in my mid 60s and have begun to see a very substantial hair loss. I had thought about giving a wig a try but just could not bring myself to do it, until my hair got so thin that I could not hide the fact any longer by back combing the heck out of my hair. I also decided that at my age I needed to let my REAL color, grey, emerge and stop the madness of dyeing my hair every 3 to 4 weeks. So I purchased the Skylar, in brown, and wow did I ever get compliments. I did purchase one more Skylar, in grey and wore it when I was out of town. None of my friends or family had seen me in grey hair. When I purchased the Sky wig I decided to go grey all the way so I have purchased two of them in grey now and love them. The color is beautiful, silver stone. All of the people I know, and don't know, love the color on me. It is beautiful and very natural looking. People I don't know actually stop me on the street and tell me how much they love my hair. Some have asked me if it's "real", sometimes I tell the truth and sometimes I just say yes it's real….well it is a "real" wig. I think this wig would suit most face shapes, mine is oblong but on the round side of oblong. Anyway, I intend to buy more of this style and color in the future. Maybe my hair will grow back some and I will be able to wear it again, one can only hope, but if not then sky is my new best friend. 🙂 The ONLY thing I can say to the wig makers is, TRY to be more consistent with the hair. I talked my sister into this wig and when it came it was not at all like mine…the color was off and the hair was frizzy in the back, did not look like my wig at all, she sent it back. I did notice a slight difference in my second wig but it was wearable so I discounted it. I will be very disappointed if the quality and color of the wig is not consistent every time…..But for now I have a smile on my face, oh, and it cut an hour off my get ready for work time in the morning, not having to fuss with my own hair, shake and go, yippeeee…that was a blessing. Pros great style, great color, great cut. Cons none if the Sky is the same quality as mine
I have been wearing Sky for about 6 years and just love this wig. I've tried it in several colors but my ultimate favorite is the Frosti Blonde. I have several of them which I alternate because I wear it every day, all day long. It is very comfortable, easy to wear, looks natural and is very flattering. I get so many compliments on my "hair" almost every day. Ladies always want to know where I get it done. Sometimes I tell them it's hair I wear and sometimes I leave them wondering. They love the cut and the color. It is great right out of the box, but for me, I always need to give the bangs a trimmed right away. In my opinion, the more you wear it the better it looks. With some add in shine and Vogue shampoos, etc. I can get about 4-5 months or longer out of one wig. If you want an easy to wear, go to hair piece, then Sky's your girl.

I wasn't looking for this style or length of wig, but I was intrigued by this one. I was also surprised by some of the colours available. I decided to take a chance and bought the melted plum colour. I was pleasantly surprised when the wig arrived. The colour sample here doesn't do it justice. The melted plum is deep plum on top of the head (not just the roots) and fades out to silvery white at the tips. The whole wig has a silvery sheen to it. It's very flattering and eye catching, and the first time I wore it out I was stopped many times and asked about it. The wig is light weight and comfortable to wear, the short length at the back cools the neck. The bangs do hang in your face, that's how the wig is designed. I don't mind it, except outdoors if it's windy. I played around with it and found a few tricks to keep the bangs out of the eyes. A headband works, so does a hat. It's still cold here so I wore a beanie/touque over the wig when I went out, it looked stylish and kept the bangs out of the eyes. Another trick is to use got2b Ultra Glued Invincible Styling Gel, it comes in a black tube. Many people use it to glue down the part on lace front wigs. I put a dab at the root of the bangs at the front of the wig, and it glues the bangs in place to keep them out of the eyes.Patti G.
I love Reese in Rasberry Ice. It frames my face beautifully. I love tucking it behind my ear. I had a hair stylist last week ask me who did my hair and when I told her it was a wig she was surprised. She stated she would have never guessed. I feel that is the ultimate compliment. The only issue is that the back tends to fray after several months of wear when I wear high collars. Fray happens over time to any of the longer wigs that I wear. I would recommend this wigs especially if you have fuller faces.Teresa D.

Then again with the 2 I purchased most recently they seem to have done it again!!! I am beside myself as I have tried many other wigs and this is the only one that I feel Comfortable in as I wear my wig daily! I love Jolie as I’ve stated in previous reviews of this piece. This wig is beautiful and the colors really stand out. I will say that in natural light it shows more orange than red – something that several people have commented on. Inside, however, it's a beautiful red and I've received loads of compliments. My biggest issue with this wig, however, and the thing that prevented me from giving it 5 stars, is the permatease. In the video review the permatease doesn't look prominent but in my wig it's a bit of a mess. I constantly deal with helmet head and have to push down the top about once an hour to "tame" it again. Overall, this wig is beautiful and looks like healthy hair. I think that in the future I'd spend more on a mono cap but it is a great fist wig.Maria
I loved this one right out of the box, just like I did the Noriko Reese in the same color – Champagne-R. The fibers are so soft and silky. I have not done anything to this wig (I usually end up trimming the bangs on most). I wore at work all day and the only thing that bothered me was the bangs kept falling in my face. Gonna have to work with it a little to train them to stay put. I wish the rooting on the Champagne-R was a darker brown (looks harsh in the sunlight – like brown shoe polish).; I would prefer the roots to be a darker brown and not so long. My new favorite wig…..for now…..
Based on the picture and the reviews I thought….ok…this may be my new wig. There is no true part. I like wigs that has a part that you can see then base of your head….makes it look more believable. I figured "ok, I can get past that…I mean there is at least an illusion of a part" Then I touched the hair. At the top back where "the part ends" it looks like someone sheared a thick hunk of hair out leaving an astro turf feeling hair. It's pretty bad. The wig would have been alright but that part is just so ghastly. The hair does not look as natural as the pic either. I had to look at the label to make sure I got the right wig! I think the fit is just a little on the petite side of average – I'm just over 21.5 inches in circumference with close-shaved hair, and it fits fine without taking in the adjusters. There seems to be a decent amount of stretch if you're larger than me, so it may work for someone up to 22 inches, or someone with more hair than me. I should note that Storm wasn't a true "shake & go" wig out of the box. The ends in back weren't always as flippy as the photos showed, and some of the bangs stuck straight out in front, even after misting with water. I used a steamer on the bangs to get them to lie where I wanted them and will eventually work on the flipped ends in back. I'd be more annoyed at this if I'd paid a lot more money, but I'm willing to accept a certain amount of work on my part for a basic cap at an affordable price point. All in all, I'm quite happy with my purchase, and I would encourage others who may be curious about this wig to check it out. Just be aware that it might not be perfect right out of the box and may need some work to look its best on you (work that should only be performed *after* you've determined you want to keep the wig).Patricia L.
I love this wig. It has great movement in the hair, very realistic. It is comfortable to wear. I can be a tough fit – need the average circumference but some wigs have too much gaping in the back of my head. This one isn't too bad, fits fairly well. The color is fabulous and I have gotten so many compliments on it. The length is perfect. I prefer myself with bangs and this one just meets all the criteria for me. Not bad for 69 on my way to 70 – wearing it makes me look, and feel, younger. I got it in Moonstone and now it seems that color doesn't exit any longer. I ordered this in creamy toffee rooted after having it in mochachino. Somehow it looked better in the darker color. It's a beautiful wig if you can pin down the sides near the top, reducing the retro looking volume. I think this style is best suited for someone more statuesque. It's cute but it looks dated on me. Possibly just too young of a look at this point. The creamy toffee color though was very nice on this style, a little less gold with more light blonde running through it. That's a big improvement in the color because I've bought this color before and been disappointed with the gold.FAITH b.

Online reviewers seem to be avoiding this wig or making a big deal about how much permatease there is in it, so I was a little nervous about ordering it. But it turned out to look really cute on me, and I appreciate how the fullness on top balances out some of my facial features (and my large glasses), while the shag style also gives me some length in back. The melted marshmallow color looks good, too, although the pale tips aren't as obvious as they would be on a straighter, less layered style like Alva or Kai. The dark root does a good job of camouflaging the permatease at the part. The wig is also remarkably light and breathable. The color Silver Stone for the 'Pam' Noriko was simply beautiful, the hair was soft and the style was great with two exceptions. There was an overabundance of permatease at the front hairline; that should have been at the crown. For me, that just ruined the wig and the ear tabs were strange as well and they had an overabundance of hair giving it a 'wiggy' look.Joan R.
