This is my first time ordering I live in Canada Ontario, the wig took 9 days to come ( a little over a week). It was long, loose curls and baby hair straight out the package. Fit perfectly fine on my head I fixed the straps to my liking. Unit was 13×6 parting space, lace was light. Volume of the wig wasn’t the best compared to other sensationnel wigs, felt like a synthetic wig. The colour was burgundy wine however on my dark complexion it looked more red not burgundy. My mom gave Solana to me, because she wasn’t really feeling the color on her. I think this color is called “Chocolate Flamboyage” and when I first tried her on I too wasn’t 100% in love with this color as well, and being new to wearing synthetic wigs I really didn’t know what to do with it either lol. Anywho so I trimmed the lace, plucked & parted it, and I even took a black sharpie & darkened the roots to my liking & “Walla” she’s stunning now!! As soon as I took the hair out of the box, the ends seemed really tough and frizzy, to the point where the comb gets stuck. The **** are that once you tint the lace/add makeup and cut your baby hairs, the hairline blends really week and looks realistic. STYLE: Very natural yaki looking wig style wise. The hairline however needs work. There's nothing natural looking about it. LACE: simi soft and blended with my brown skin perfectly. SIZING: I would say this is small cap. I only put the straps on the 3rd latch and it felt extremely tight and secure. The back however didn't lay down a perfect as the back.
Colour P99J/530. This was my first lace front human hair wig and I'm very pleased with my purchase. She was so soft when she came out of the box, but needed a lot of TLC after the first wear. I love this wig. It’s so beautiful. The hairline is spacious and can be parted anywhere. The curls are full n the texture of the hair is perfect. I made a middle part and a side part and it looked perfect both ways.i didn’t have any tangling either. I’m surprised I hadn’t heard about this wig before. It’s a well kept secret. If I wasn’t experienced in wearing wigs, this would have been a really frustrating and disappointing purchase. As soon as I took the hair out of the box, the ends seemed really tough and frizzy, to the point where the comb gets stuck. Because the quality is so poor, I ensure extremely gentle combing but somehow one of the tracks has already broken within the first 1-2 weeks. The **** are that once you tint the lace/add makeup and cut your baby hairs, the hairline blends really week and looks realistic. If you’re more of an expert at tailoring your own wigs then this isn’t too bad, but you won’t be able to wear it for too long because of the quality. Beautiful wig in GL14/22SS. This blonde shade is perfect for my natural brunette skin tone (light to medium neutral leaning toward warm). It's not too warm, nor is it too cool, and it doesn't wash me out. I discovered Gabor recently and love the hairline and softly shaded roots of the shaded shades. The hair is soft and fine. This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Although I've never tried Raquel Welch's "Winner," Serving Style seems similar to the basic (non-Elite) version of that wig, with the addition of a lace front for off-the-face styling versatility. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. Perfect color if you’re a brunette and you want to start going lighter and have it look natural. Will put a review on YouTube under “it’s a wonderful wig” since I love this so much. This is a lovely wig. I love that it's thinner and hand tied. I'm not a fan of the ear to ear lace. It tends to stick up around the ear tabs and you can see it. I've tried glue but it just cakes up on the lace and doesn't work anyway. I wish I had gotten the regular julianne with velvet ear tabs. I am so glad I tried the light version in the julianne before paying a ridiculous amount of money for the carrie light and realizing the lace ear tabs are terrible. If you have hair thinning or loss anywhere in the front, this will not work for you as you'll be pulling on those vulnerable hairs if you have any, yet it won't be enough to hold the piece in place safely, nor can you use adhesive on thinning hairs. Obviously the 3 front clips won't be of use if you have no hair in front; aybe you could remove all the clips and use adhesive instead if you have no hair. For me, with thinning hair, this was unworkable. I was excited about this item, but was left disappointed. Trying to be fair to the store, I kept the items (I bought two) rather than ask for another return. I shouldn't have kept them.Gerri
I have bought several regular January's in the past, and have always thought they had too much permatease, but would repurchase it because it is closest to the style and color I am looking for. This was my first January Hand Tied. I am pleased to say that it is exactly what I was hoping for. The best part is that there is NO permatease, which had always made it too hot to wear in the summer, and now I don't have to worry about wefts showing since there are none. The lace front on mine is fantastic in the color 14/25 – the highlighting and knotting is the best it's ever been. It is much less tiger-striped looking than it had been about 5 years ago. The hand tied January also has less density than regular January, so I only thinned it slightly in spots compared to my major thinning of regular January. Both versions of January tend to be less shiny than the straight versions of synthetics, which is a plus for me. The Jon Renau regular synthetic fibers last longer than the other brands I have tried as well.Brahm
