I cut the lining off the inside plastic cap part as it made it not sit on my head flat and I trimmed it a lot in length and thinned it a bit. I also washed it and let it air dry. I tried to curl it a bit but burnt a piece on the inside. I think it would only curl if it was temp 200 or below. I also trimmed the bangs a bit at an angle. The hair is natural looking and not shiny. It does tangle a bit underneath but combs out easily. A bit tight on my head so I cut the elastic a bit.
