I have super thin/fine/bleached hair, that tangled easily. Whenever I wash my hair I have to use a detangler or leave in before I can brush through it. This did an amazing job and detangling my hair, I could brush through it without any issues after a few spritzes. However, the smell is soooo sweet, very artificial, candied, something. I thought it would dissipate over the course of the day and it did not. I kept getting whiffs of it and was like 'who is that!?'. Receiving this product around the same time I just brought a wig which was perfect. After I wash the wig I sprayed the wig not reading the directions before hand that a little goes a long way, since I sprayed too much and had to rewash it because it was too oily. After I installed the wig I use the product to keep the hair looking shiny. But the wig seem kinda worn out even tho I only had it in for a few days and only using the spray at night. I normally wear my hair natural and wanted to switch it up, so this product isn’t something I’ll use frequently. I mean when I decide to put a wig on or maybe braids I’ll try the spray again. kori.r

I’ve been wearing wigs for the past two months. Where has this product been all my life? First, I used this product on my synthetic barrel curls wig. A couple of sprays and you have a new wig! No more throwing out synthetic wigs after the life time for use runs out. The big barrel curls moved bk in place with no need for me to recurl. I just spray, fluff, and go. My long human hair curly wig held up well when this product was applied before I went out in Florida’s humility and rain. For the first time I didn’t look like a Chia Pet. My hair stayed tamed and unfrizzed the whole day. I couldn’t believe it! The smell is kinda a mild fruity smell that is pleasant and the texture of the product is oily. A little goes a long way. We own a Newfoundland that loves the water. Last week of June we had a hot spell where temps were in the 90s consistently for days. Nights were humid. Trying to make sure all our dogs had plenty of water, we neglected to do a brush out at night under our Newfies chin and around his ears. Consequently mats formed over the hot days with areas not drying completely which made the mats worse. Mane n tail was recommended, it does work with smaller mats, I spent several moments every day working on the larger mats, following the directions, with very little success. We learned a valuable lesson with our Newfs fur and what we need to do better. Ended up cutting the larger mats to a smaller size, then applying Mane n Tail working on the smaller size mats. Our Newf was very patient but would only hold still for 1015 minutes provided I moved to different areas on his chin, chest and ears. Chewys delivery was great, smell of the product was fine. Its not a miracle mat untangler, also depends on the kind of fur being untangled. Works much better on our Great Pyrenees fur than our Newfie fur.Anonymous
Works on human and non human hair types. Works on all hair textures. Trusted and true. Can actually ]keep hair detangled throughout the day due to its silicone. Works almost just as good as silicone which is a gel that coats the hair and keeps the stands seperated. When using on type 4 hair if you dont have the desired slip WHEN detangling just use silicone or a hair butter.
Just purchased this detangler and Im in love. Ive tried so many different detangler products, all of which have left me in rage mode, frustrated beyond belief. I have long down to my booty, extremely thick, color treated, super wavy hair. A recipe for disaster. I got this for my Jon Renau HD wig because it was matted and frizzy just after a few wears and this was recommended to me as a solution. I can’t say this changed my situation much but I don’t think this product is to blame, it’s the quality of the wig I suppose. After coming out with this product the wig is tangled again after wearing it for an hour.
My hairpieces after about a month have been getting frizzy, ratty ends and nothing helped. I just purchased this product and it worked like a charm! I will never be without it. I could not believe how awesome my wig ends looked after using. Its a miracle. Thank you John Renau for such a great product!
The product works well for both detangling and conditioning. I use it nightly on the ends of NOT heat-friendly synthetic hair, combing it first with a wide tooth comb, then following with a tighter tooth comb, and third, a very close-tooth comb, then using hair clips horizontally to press those wild ends, due to their frizzy, non-friendly-heat pieces. It doesn’t “cure" it, but surely helps!

I used this product a couple of times for wigs but I didn't really like the after fact if it . When I used this product against my wigs it made it look synthetic . This product is basically a detangler , but when I used it after doing French braid it made the braid shine very nicely . Instead of using the product for wigs try braidsedrianna.o
I've used this product for several years, and like it a lot. The wig shop where I bought my wig recommended it to me, and I purchased my first bottle with the wig. Since then, I've had no reason to switch brands. It seems like a small bottle (8oz), but you only use a small amount in a sink full of water so a bottle lasts a long time. (I probably average 6 months per bottle, but your mileage will vary with the length of your wig, and how often you shampoo it). My wig is synthetic BTW. I don't know how this product works with real human hair wigs.donw_s11

WOW! This works well on my 4C hair. It took a lot less work to comb through my hair that had sat for 2 weeks in a protective style, especially at the roots that get extra tangled. Plus, the price is great. Oh, and I used it on dry hair even though instructions say to use it on damp hair. I just used plenty to dampen my hair with the product. It does leave my hair somewhat dry (why I gave it a 4/5) once it dries up, but, I have other products for that. Thanks Aussie!Patsy22
I have long thin hair that always gets knotted after washing. Not normal knots, large massive matted knots. There are actually not a ton of adult detanglers available that are an affordable option so I was forced to use kids detanglers. I have to say I have found my replacement! First, the smell is amazing! It smells great without being overbearing or making my head smell like a fruit. Second, it actually works! A few sprays and some working in with my fingers and I can tell a noticable difference in the ease of brushing my hair. You don't need to oversaturate your hair with the product, just enough to cover lightly.. All in all I am very happy with the free trial I received and will certainly purchase on my own.

Overall, this product is affordable and works almost as well or on par with the brand name product. It smells great and easy to use with a lock top, to keep it extra safe in case of children reach. I am pretty picky when it comes to products I apply to my daughters hair because she has thin hair. This product makes it so it much more easier to brush through hair after a shower, with toweling dried hair. I find hair products displeasing and reach less for them when they have a strong fragrance, I just don’t want to smell it while applying the product to my hair or waiting for it to dry but I don’t have to worry about that with this product. I feel like this product doesn’t work as well when my hair or my daughters hair is dry, it doesn’t make much of a difference. Which is the only downside because I would like to use it when my hair is dry, as to brush my hair when it’s gotten tangled throughout the day.tina.l
