This tea tree conditioner in conjunction with the shampoo ticks every box for my teenager. This has worked so well for oily and irritated scalp, irritation no more, no more daily hair washes, hair smooth, soft and shiny. It smells super strong and fresh. Have to recommend in combo with the shampoo.

I purchased this based on the many positive reviews I read. But, I do not like this conditioner at all. It's a strange consistency, so when you apply it to your hair it feels weird, greasy, and clumpy. It didn't distribute evenly and when I rinsed it, my hair felt clumpy, greasy and tangled. So different from the other positive experiences others have had. i have long, wavy, fine type of hair, maybe it works better for thicker hair? My hair is fairly healthy, I don't process it too much, but in the winter it gets super dry so i wanted something to help with the dryness, and this did not help at all. Disappointed. I LOVE the shampoo, but I do not get why so many people rave about this conditioner. It has the strangest texture and consistency, it does not go on well, it clumps and doesn't distribute evenly on your hair. It made my hair feel greasy but dry at the same time. I've experienced this with another repair type of conditioner and I'm disappointed that this conditioner did the same type of thing. I had to use two other conditioners just to get my hair feeling soft and normal again. I have long, fine hair, if that helps. Maybe it just doesn't work with that kind of hair. I've tried several different kinds of hair care products from Matrix to Briorgeo. Virtue is the only one I prefer. I love the scent which is not overwhelming for me. I bought the Carol's Daughter Mimosa Hair Honey Pomade to use on my relaxed hair. This was my first time purchasing from Carol's Daughter and I thought I could include the pomade in my hair care routine and was eager to use a product with "natural ingredients" for women of color. The package states it is for "dry, brittle and textured hair" so I thought it would be perfect since my hair since it is on the drier side, and I want to add some moisture to it. The first thing I noticed about this product is the smell. I thought it smelled great even though some people have noted they didn't like the smell from the reviews I read. The problem I had with this product is after I applied a small amount to my hair and scalp, I experienced some intense itching on my scalp within hours after use. The itching worsened and the next morning, I had uncontrollable itching to the point where my scalp felt like it was burning. I had to wash/shampoo it out of my hair right away! After washing it out, the itch was gone, however, my scalp was red and sore from the itching. I also noticed the my thighs were covered in hundreds of hives! I am not exaggerating either. It was bad! I had to rush to the drug store to get allergy medication/antihistamine! This will be the last time I would ever use a product from the Carol's Daughter line. I wouldn't want anyone to experience what I went through either. I don't know what it is in the pomade that caused the allergic reaction. I have never had any allergic reactions to any hair care products before, including hair dye. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this product to anyone.Melissa
This is a natural, sweet smelling, non staining, twice a week hair food. To be fair, I like the brand. I got hooked via the store front in Brooklyn. The fact that Target carries this product line is impressive. That 2 of my local Target stores has become inconsistent in stocking core Carol’s Daughter products is troubling. #BlackHairCare is real. Finding healthy, non damaging products is rare. I’d rather see a well stocked Carol’s Daughter selection than Afro Sheen, Cocoa Butter, or Dark & Lovely anything. I’m a Latina with long frizzy when humid, non texture hair. I wanted to try a product that would moisturize my dry hair. Read a lot of positive reviews about Carol’s Daughter but was hesitant to try it because I have non textured hair. First time I tried it with recently washed hair. It helped detangle my hair. It was easy to comb my hair but unfortunately when my hair dried it was so greasy it looked like I hadn’t washed my hair. So I decided to use the pomade as a before washing treatment for my hair. Left it on for about two hours before washing my hair with L’Oréal Everpure detox shampoo. Again easy to comb while still wet. When my hair dried I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t frizzy. My hair was so soft and healthy looking. Would definitely recommend for non textured hair but as a before washing treatment. I gave this product a second chance because I did not want to waste by throwing it away and it was totally worth it.Astrid

I come to know of this product when it was sold in Family Dollar. Not sure if it still is, had trouble finding it there recently and discovered it was now at Walmart in a new designed can. I normally would swear by Pink Oil Moisturizer spray which is what I have utilized for years with great results. However, after trying African Pride Miracle oil spray, it has outdone Pink Oil. My Mother has been using Paula Young products for years. She has always had very thin hair, and has been wearing Paula Young wings for over 25 years. The wigs are well made and hold up very well. I recently purchased her another one, with more gray, as she is now 86 yrs old. I purchased myself a little topper…delicate touch..real hair. I was very excited to think that I could just pop this on my head in the morning with minimal fixing, but unfortunately not. The product is nice, great color that matches mine. But it’s made so that the majority of the hair falls to back and sides and the hair in the front ….only stays to the front. There is a definite line of demarcation and despite my playing with this, fussing, pulling my own hair through to blend it….it is obvious that it’s a hair piece. I think the design of the product needs to be redesigned. I’m disappointed.Gina
The wig that said it was called “Brooklyn” was WAY too long for me and I couldn’t remember even ordering it, nor would I have if I had known how long it was. I looked it up online and could not even find the wig (name OR number). It said there was no recognition of a wig with that name or number. I didn’t even try it on after seeing the length of it, so I’m sending it back for a refund. I WOULD like to know why you charge $9.95, taken off the refund? A wig sent that wasn’t even listed on Paula Young online! After buying from Paula Young for many years, I’m hesitant to do so in the future.Gail
I cannot yet give a review on this product, but I can give one on the refund process for a returned item. I purchased 3 clip on hair pieces( one is still on backorder) and received the other two. They were the wrong hair color and I didn’t care for one of them. I returned both items(one for exchange and one for refund). The exchange happened in a timely matter as expected, but the refund has been a nightmare. I’ve had to call on 4 different occasions, receiving different answers each time. I am still waiting for a refund, after almost a month, and was just told it will be another 26 days to receive my refund. I like their products, but their refund process along with having customer service agents on the same page needs some definite improvement. Hopefully, I will receive my refund this time. We’ll see. This is a great brand and product. Although I like the spray cans better. I got this years ago along with the conditioning spray on amazon. It really revives and makes your wigs look brand new again. This product is the reason my wigs last for years. I used this product a couple of times for wigs but I didn't really like the after fact if it . When I used this product against my wigs it made it look synthetic . This product is basically a detangler , but when I used it after doing French braid it made the braid shine very nicely . Instead of using the product for wigs try braidsedrianna.o
I've used this product for several years, and like it a lot. The wig shop where I bought my wig recommended it to me, and I purchased my first bottle with the wig. Since then, I've had no reason to switch brands. It seems like a small bottle (8oz), but you only use a small amount in a sink full of water so a bottle lasts a long time. (I probably average 6 months per bottle, but your mileage will vary with the length of your wig, and how often you shampoo it). My wig is synthetic BTW. I don't know how this product works with real human hair wigs.donw_s11
