I first decided to purchase a wig when a hair cut gone wrong left me looking like Opie Taylor. I definitely did not want what the look the ladies in my mother's "retirement" community had! I wanted to have hair that I had in high school, many many eons ago, the thick healthy hair. I started researching wigs and liked the idea of human hair, but still had trepidation that I would spend that much still I'd look as if I had someone else's hair on my head. I went into a local beauty supply and the girl at the counter had the most gorgeous hair. We chatted about wigs and she said she was wearing a Vivica Fox wig Now! It looked great and so natural, but then again, she was maybe 25 years old. They didn't have wigs in the store so I went home and Googled Vivica Fox. I saw the pic of the "Brie" wig and thought, yes, that's It! The lowest price was here at VogueWigs so I clicked, went in and found even the color I wanted! I took a deep breath and hit order and have not been happier Since! The Brie is soft, moves like hair, not stiff or hair sprayed looking. You can curl it, wash it, and even sleep with it on without pain! I absolutely love this wig and now that I've taken the wig plunge, I've ordered several more Vivica Fox styles. This truly will not disappointed, and with the variegated colors it's almost a guarantee that it matches You!
Wigs are a new thing for me as I've come to terms that I have to live with hair loss due to nothing that the doctors I've gone to can find. They say it's menopause–which I started ten years ago. Anyway the length of the hair that I still have is about the same length at the Brie wig. The reviews and the photos of the women wearing the wig were enough for me to order. Girls–you look marvelous! I received this today and straight out of the box I plopped it on my head. Nothing except for a bit of a trim on the bangs was needed. I haven't had time to "play" with my Brie yet and position her just so but I don't think I'll need to. There is a wonderful amount of volume in this wig. It's a tad shiny but I'll fix that with dry shampoo. It really looks great and I'm looking forward to much confidence while wearing. Would I reorder? Yes. Definitely. The price point on this wig is extraordinary. It is well-constructed and just looks really great. It is a light wig and not heavy and fits very comfortably. I really like the pony tail that came in this set. It is shorter and I can wear it low or with a hat. Very cute. Very secure. I ordered Medium Brown and it was a perfect color match to my hair. I don't have a lot of hair and I tried to put the hair twist in….fell right off. I'm guessing I would need a lot more hair that I can wind up into a bun before I can use it. I am going to try to get clever and pin it in or use a hair claw to make it stay, but I don't have high hopes. Not sure how people with pony nubs are suppose to use the twist. Hair piece was not my color so I didn't try them. But I do have one of Toni's curly pony tails. I love it! The only problem is the color. I have more light brown with a lot of gray and the hair piece has more medium brown with very little gray. With the color ranges of hair today I feel comfortable. At 78 I have worn wigs off and on for a long time and this is the first hair piece I feel absolutely comfortable and confident to wear. Please make more gray pieces with accent of brown. I have a few sets of hair clips and consider them a good product. Unfortunately, the last pair ordered arrived with broken teeth in both clips so were returned. I did not receive a return on the shipping fee, however, and do not think this is good customer service. I did not order clips with broken teeth so feel I should not have to pay the initial shipping. Cannot imagine how the teeth could be broken in transit so the product must not have been checked at all during the packaging process. The broken pieces were in with the clips packaging and fell on the floor when plastic bag opened. This hairpiece is almost perfect. I am considered salt/pepper and that’s what I received. My original hair color was medium brown and as it continues to change, it is more gray and white. The item seems to be well made but will be going back. Unless you have prior experience with this brand and know exactly which shade works for you, be careful. The color swatches are just way too small to know what you're actually getting. My hairdresser says I'm definitely a Dark Blonde, so that's what I ordered. Apparently there's more than one idea on what Dark Blonde is. This is going back, with no interest in playing the exchange game. …..And not for the better. Like other loyal Toni Brattin customers, I too have noticed that the quality of the materials has declined, while the price consistently increases. The wigs are no longer packaged in the signature Toni Brattin box for easy storage, they're in a zip lock bag. But the biggest change is that the fibers used for the "hair" are very soft and lacking texture, and the wigs have less hair, making them difficult for many to style. The cut of the wig is also rather hit and miss, too much or too little hair in various places, and cowlicks in the crown.Fortunately for myself, I'm a licensed hair stylist, so I can handle the problem. Over the years, I've ordered four Trendsetters, And I can see the difference in each one ordered. As long as this wig is available, I will continue to order as it as the best style for me, but I really wish Toni and her manufacturers would address this issue.2MuchTrouble

I purchased this style because it is my exact haircut when I wear it short. Beautiful package, black and white box with instructions, wig in a net and the stocking cap. The brown/gray is not an option in this style so the brown/blonde was my next choice. Well, I finally tried it on today and all modesty aside, I look absolutely too die for Cute with a capital C adorable and my picky Virgo husband just freaked out in a very good way. The color is incredible, the hair looks exactly like my real hair at every angle. It is pretty easy to put on too. I suffer from overheating and l left it on for around 2 hours at home in AC but in Miami, and forgot I had it on. The stocking cap is not for me so I pinned my shoulder length bob and on the first try l looked as if I had stepped out of the salon. This Cuban 65 year old lady is beyond pleased. Well, it had half of the amount of hair I have. It felt super fake, like nylon fibers; it didn’t move like natural hair. It obviously look like a wig. Absolutely awful. I’m pretty sure that some wigs I saw on the big online retailer for less than $20, look and feel better than this. Extremely overpriced. Then I remembered that some years ago I had ordered something similar and had returned it because of the same reason. I didn’t learn that time, now I did. I have been wearing wigs for three years and have always stuck to name brands. I really have not had much problem. This is the third and final time I will try Brattin wigs. I ordered light brown since the brown blonde I returned was dark and reddish. This wig is also medium to dark brown. It is flat to my head even after the usual shaking and combing. The fibers look fine but feel coarser than my other wigs. I did try to get it to style but, without any product, I failed. Not a good choice for me.pictureframer
Wig is to shiny and fake looking. I have bought Toni's wigs several years ago and love them. She evidently has changed manufactures to save money and the wigs show it. They have no volume and the color looks orange instead of brown with blond. This is going back and I will stick with the supplier I have been using the past year. When I got it, I took it out of the box shook it out as instructed on TV demonstration. I put it on and was amazed at how I could comb style it with my fingers just like the demonstration. I washed it according to the instructions before wearing it. I was worried about how it would come out after being washed. This wig is amazing!! I love it! My husband loves it! The brown/gray is not an option in this style so the brown/blonde was my next choice. Well, I finally tried it on today and all modesty aside, I look absolutely too die for Cute with a capital C adorable and my picky Virgo husband just freaked out in a very good way. The color is incredible, the hair looks exactly like my real hair at every angle. It is pretty easy to put on too. I suffer from overheating and l left it on for around 2 hours at home in AC but in Miami, and forgot I had it on. The stocking cap is not for me so I pinned my shoulder length bob and on the first try l looked as if I had stepped out of the salon. This Cuban 65 year old lady is beyond pleased. This Toni Braxton Prestigious Wig, and on sale, made in Japan, made my day. Kudos. I highly recommend this wig and this is my Ist wig ever. Toni should be canonized;). Marvelous.LaVerdad
I got this wig in light gray. It looked so fake. Very little hair. I have a lot of hair, and would like to stop coloring it, so I wanted to get used to the color. Well, it had half of the amount of hair I have. It felt super fake, like nylon fibers; it didn’t move like natural hair. It obviously look like a wig. Absolutely awful. I’m pretty sure that some wigs I saw on the big online retailer for less than $20, look and feel better than this. Extremely overpriced. Then I remembered that some years ago I had ordered something similar and had returned it because of the same reason. I didn’t learn that time, now I did. I can count with one hand my returns to QVC: this was one of them. It’s on its way.MVPQ

I saw the pictures on line and Toni’s lt blonde she displayed on video and it looked soooo cute. But, then I got mine – it was very flat and shiny. I couldn’t get it to feather back like hers. It was like wearing a mop. I have 5 TRENDSETTERS in plus in various colors – an 1 IMPRESSIVE in lt. Blonde and all are great. Don’t have to do a thing to them – just put them on and out the door. Check the second wig she has on in the video – that’s like the one I got. The color was nice and the fit – but, nothing else. This is an absolutely beautiful wig! I gave a 4 Star because it doesn't look exactly like the one advertised or when they show it with the hosts, I believe it should look the same so we are sure of what we are purchasing. It is still a gorgeous wig, the layers are longer than shown, my stylist trimmed it a bit so now it is perfect. Love that it can be purchased in small or medium, I have a big head. Ordered the M and fits perfectly. The colors are great, Med Brown is beautiful, not one flat color but a range of colors. Looks very real, purchased since we are social distancing and I could not get into the salon. I have been getting so many compliments! Love it!shoppinggoddess

Like so many of the other reviewers have stated: the crown is completely, irrevocably flat and the hair is aimed toward the front of the face, like some kind of bizarre skull cap. It cannot, it will not, it refuses to look anything at all like the wig on Toni's head. It is a completely different animal. I've been wearing TB wigs for a while now and really love them; both Impressive and Classic Bob are flattering and beautifully styled. Something happened with Flirtatious and someone REALLY needs to take a look at it – it's a real dog.jackandlisa

My mom used to wear wigs and I hated them. Unfortunately, I inherited her fine, thinning hair and as 60 approached and my own hair looked sadder by the day, I figured I’d give this wig a try.
