I sent back for several different reasons for an exchange. It was to blonde and didn’t have the beautiful red color popping out that I loved, so I sent back to get a different color. The top was to flat and didn’t look like it was made right (the parting in the middle) I couldn’t get it to flip over to the other side since I assumed I should have been able to do. It wasn’t cut as shown in the picture. One side in the front as well as the back was way longer than the other side. I was excited to get my first “human hair” wig in hopes that it would last longer than my others. I was disappointed in how thin the wig was and despite multiple attempts to shake it out, it never framed my face like it does in the model picture. I received this wig yesterday and tried it on immediately. It is a great style but there is so much hair it looked like I had a motorcycle helmet on. Very disappointed because I had to send it back today. Sorry QVC I really wanted to love it. I love TB wigs….this price point is so great. The wig always looks better in person that it does on the models on tv (sorry). But Toni always looks great because she makes it suit her and that is what we have to do as well. The light blonde is the perfect blend of light blonde, beige blonde and brown roots. It look so real and I am a type-A person…this heat friendly fiber is NOT shiny or wiggy looking. The back view of this wig is what I have been looking for on a short wig…perfect length/good coverage. TIP: Do not brush your wig too hard.. it ruins the fibers. You can find lots of help on youtube for heat friendly fiber wig care. Go easy on it. Use your hands to style and little hairspray for flyaways/or "piece out" creme made for wigs to style. I have almost every style of Toni's and this short style is perfection. Title review really says it all. It is way too big, unless you have a big head. It either comes down to the eye brows (and not the hair falling over the brows, the hair is in your mouth) or if pulled back, it slides down your neck. In either case it covers both ears completely or if you put behind your ears, it then sticks up on top like a conehead. In any case, if has to be defective. I can't imagine anyone could live with a head that big. You couldn't hold it up! But take your chances on ordering one. If they can make a huge mistake like that when making the wig, then how good is the quality? How long could a badly made wig last? It does not feel like real or look like real hair. And I thought my own hair is thin, the wig is thinner than my own! It does not come styled. You will have to style it and put on a lot of hair spray to keep it in control. There has to be better wigs somewhere. At the price of this one, I was very disappointed in this wig. I would recommend Clipperpro toe nail clippers for those who clip their own nails. The clipper head swivels & locks in place so you can hold the handle just as you would hold the handle on your car door and the cutting end faces you toes. Ordered the medium blonde, large size. It looks like a head of great hair on a “good hair day.” The dark roots make the blonde wigs look so realistic. Toni, thank you for adding large sizes to your line. I like this wig because of the 4 1/2 inch bangs. All your other styles have shorter bangs. I have a high forehead and need the longer length bangs. I hope you will bring in more styles with longer bangs, 5 inches plus. Hi, I like the styling of the wig BUT there was a huge problem with the Dark Roots. I had ordered the light blond wig and it matched my hair color perfectly. but at the crown area there are darkish brown roots…This looked really weird. i had seen the presentation on tv and the roots did not appear to be dark brown or i would not have purchased the wig. if they had been medium blond it would not have been a problem i have purchased many of Toni's hair pieces and love them but this was too weird. It probably would work for someone who wouldn't have a problem with light blonde hair with darkish brown roots… maybe if you have the same style of light blonde wig with medium blonde roots i would definitely have purchased it.nannydew
I thought this was so cute, and my first Brattin wig so was hoping for a great wig. The first error may have been mine; Ive always had a kind of large head /hat size so for the first time I ordered the larger size- but even tightened up it is just too loose. Next prob, the wig is soooo shiny! If I were 20 years old maybe I could pass this off as real hair, but nobody has hair this shiny… it reflects light like crazy, drawing attention to it. I ordered the light blonde and even tho it had quite a bit of quite dark in it ( more than the online swatch shows) , I did like the pretty " frosted "color. But the real issue is that there is SO much "BIG HAIR" ! Unexpected! Looks like a furball on my head. Maybe the 70's look is still is style somewhere, but this looks like a Vegas show wig, with huge fly-back swoops that cant be tamed and a permanent flip at the neck in the back. I was able to tame/smooth out the vast number of wild 'wispy flips' all over the back of the head, but nothing can be done with the top and sides due to the style ( the way it's sewn.) Even when flattened down, the peak where the part is stays put, so there remains weird ; POINTED popped-up hair at the top of the head. I LOOK LIKE A CONEHEAD! I kept it for a couple days, with several tries to tame it so I could keep it, but no luck. Back to Hair U Wear brand 'WISPY" I have 3 of that style and they do look very real. …..And not for the better. Like other loyal Toni Brattin customers, I too have noticed that the quality of the materials has declined, while the price consistently increases. The wigs are no longer packaged in the signature Toni Brattin box for easy storage, they're in a zip lock bag. But the biggest change is that the fibers used for the "hair" are very soft and lacking texture, and the wigs have less hair, making them difficult for many to style. The cut of the wig is also rather hit and miss, too much or too little hair in various places, and cowlicks in the crown.Fortunately for myself, I'm a licensed hair stylist, so I can handle the problem. Over the years, I've ordered four Trendsetters, And I can see the difference in each one ordered. As long as this wig is available, I will continue to order as it as the best style for me, but I really wish Toni and her manufacturers would address this issue.2MuchTrouble
My Ist purchase was the brown/gray hairpiece duo and I was impressed by the quality and the exact match to my hair color. Easy to wear. I purchased this style because it is my exact haircut when I wear it short. Beautiful package, black and white box with instructions, wig in a net and the stocking cap. The brown/gray is not an option in this style so the brown/blonde was my next choice. Well, I finally tried it on today and all modesty aside, I look absolutely too die for Cute with a capital C adorable and my picky Virgo husband just freaked out in a very good way. The color is incredible, the hair looks exactly like my real hair at every angle. It is pretty easy to put on too. I suffer from overheating and l left it on for around 2 hours at home in AC but in Miami, and forgot I had it on. The stocking cap is not for me so I pinned my shoulder length bob and on the first try l looked as if I had stepped out of the salon. This Cuban 65 year old lady is beyond pleased. This Toni Braxton Prestigious Wig, and on sale, made in Japan, made my day. Kudos. I highly recommend this wig and this is my Ist wig ever. Toni should be canonized;). Marvelous.LaVerdad
I got this wig in light gray. It looked so fake. Very little hair. I have a lot of hair, and would like to stop coloring it, so I wanted to get used to the color. Well, it had half of the amount of hair I have. It felt super fake, like nylon fibers; it didn’t move like natural hair. It obviously look like a wig. Absolutely awful. I’m pretty sure that some wigs I saw on the big online retailer for less than $20, look and feel better than this. Extremely overpriced. Then I remembered that some years ago I had ordered something similar and had returned it because of the same reason. I didn’t learn that time, now I did. I can count with one hand my returns to QVC: this was one of them. It’s on its way.MVPQ

I loved Muse when I first received it. I loved the honey pecan color, and I think Raquel Welch synthetic fiber colors are so much better than what's available in their heat friendly wigs. (The heat friendly line lacks nice light brown colors with cool highlights. There are too many red, dark roots, and bold chunky highlights.) But Muse does not look like the picture. It appears much shorter and matronly. It's a nice enough wig, but I'm not crazy about it. The wig cap was too roomy and poofed up on my heat. I then discovered that my head measurements are petite average and that Muse was probably too large for me. Since it's a hand-tied cap, there is no way to make it smaller. I kept it and wear it to do errands. The fiber is stiff and does not move as well as my recently purchased Ellen Wille wig with synthetic fiber.Janice Q.
This wig was one my husband chose for me but once he saw me try it on, he said for me to choose instead of him! It looked awful on me, it pulledmy features down and made me look 10 years older, not what I was trying to achieve. I am age 70, but like shoet edgy hairdos. The wig had too much hair for me too. Yes I could have tried to style it and had it thinned out, but even then I could not be sure it would work and then it would be too late to return. I’m sure the style would work on someone younger but not for me. I returned this wig.Peggy B.
I wanted a wig that is lighter density in a shorter simple style. So many wigs have way too much hair–looks unnatural. The Muse wig is perfect! The amount of hair is just right, the style is adorable, and the "hair" itself feels soft and natural. The hand-tied cap is very comfortable–I find other cap styles itchy. The color (Glazed Sand) is beautiful and flattering. Raquel Welch makes a quality product, and Muse is one of the best.
