I love these. I have crazy clown hair that is fine and kinky. I got compliments all the time while wearing this at work. I'd always tell everyone, Isle 6 at Ulta (not sure that is the correct isle, in case you are running to get one now!lol)! Eveyone thought it was my hair! They look better about a week of wear….I use a dry shampoo to cut the unnatural shiny look that is on it right from the box. This makes it look more natural. Sometimes I trim mine a bit- especially after about a month when thebends get frizzy. I find a light dimethcicome shine product for hair can really help rejuvenate the fibers. Ok well first off the price is good if you get it on sale and use a coupon. The concept just doesn't work well! What I did was take it apart by cutting the netting the hair is sewn too! I cut the longer portion away from the 2 shorter top layers and bought clips to sew in. I cut the shorter to piece into 2 pieces for the sides of my head and sewed in clips on those pieces. So that leaves you with one long piece for the base of your head above your neck and side pieces you can use or not. So this gives me volume and length for side braid or pony tail. Do not use heat on this hair even though it says you can! Do not brush it! Just use your fingers to detangle, do not wash it! If you do it's ruined and feel like dried out doll hair.Halo
I purchased this in Golden Wheat – my hair a medium natural blonde with dark blonde and brown lowlights, but I do have some lighter blonde highlights, and for summer, this blends well. My hair is chin length, fine, and thin from chemo over 12 years ago. Almost impossible to wear my natural hair up , without extension halo type pieces. This pony is very pretty. I am happy with the style, colour, texture. I find it is too long for me, so I will have stylist cut it down and layer `n thin, as she does my wigs and halos. That will add to a more natural look. The instructions are easy to follow, but I feel the Velcro closure needs improvement – maybe a bit thicker or wider, as it is narrow and somewhat difficult to feel and find just where to stick to it`s catch side. For the hair wrap section – if I pin it up on top of my head, it`s easier to find it and wrap it around the pony after the comb and Velcro is attached. I few pins for security and stability is a must. I am pleased, and excited about this product.Manders
