I also purchased a pair of John Fashion sling back shoes which I absolutely loved. I returned The Ellie wig & requested a refund. Aft several days, I traced the US mail pkg & it had been received but I had not received my refund as requested. So I called a cpl times using my sister's fone becaz I had poor reception on my Gov fone & later not enuff minutes 2 call Especially Yours & ck on my refund. I was denied my refund of $39.99 for the wig I returned becaz I was using someone else's fone. Although I used my OWN email address & Credit card 2 pay for my order. This was the most awful low quality wig I every purchased. This use to be a great company back in the days and I was hoping it was still good. I cant believe you as a company purchased this wig, looked it over and still decided to sell it to your customers. I was so excited to receive this and try something new. I've been wearing Reese and Sky for a few years now, but wanted to switch it up a bit. I was so disappointed when I saw this. First, it looked like doll hair and the color was AWFUL! I normally wear either Irish Spice or Bronzed Brown. I ordered R3025S+ this time for a "highlighted" look, boy was I wrong. I loved the look of this wig but was hesitant to buy because of all of the bad reviews. There really are no wigs that look great right out of the box. All wigs need some sort of help. Here’s what I recommend when getting a new wig: take it out of the box and give it a good shake. Put it on and adjust the fit, ear tabs, and general placement. Finger comb it into place and then walk away. Stay away from any mirrors for at least 30 minutes or longer and don’t mess with it. This is important because when you do look in the mirror again you have “fresh eyes”. It will be easier to be more objective and not just reactive. At this point you can focus on what you do and don’t like and determine if the don’t likes are ‘fixable’. Change the part if needed, if there is too much poof, wet it down and finger comb. Don’t do any permanent modifications until you decide if you want to keep it. But give yourself time to evaluate the wig properly. For this wig, I wet the top, used my fingers to make a deep side part sweeping the bangs across my forehead and flattened down some of the poofiness on the top then left it alone to dry. I’m so happy I didn’t let the bad reviews discourage me. She’s a cute, sassy wig!jnut
I am 68 and have been wearing wigs pixie wigs for many years, but want a new wig with a little more fullness. I absolutely love this new wig and would recommend it to anyone. Unlike many of the other wigs that do not even resemble the pictures of the wig they purchased, this one looks exactly like the pictures on QVC. I only have one small complaint. The Med Red/Ginger is NOT red. It is more like a light brown with a little bit of red in it. I purchased 2 wigs. The Tango & the Ellie (which I returned because I didnt like it). The Tango was everything I expected. I also purchased a pair of John Fashion sling back shoes which I absolutely loved. I returned The Ellie wig & requested a refund. Aft several days, I traced the US mail pkg & it had been received but I had not received my refund as requested. So I called a cpl times using my sister's fone becaz I had poor reception on my Gov fone & later not enuff minutes 2 call Especially Yours & ck on my refund. I was denied my refund of $39.99 for the wig I returned becaz I was using someone else's fone. Although I used my OWN email address & Credit card 2 pay for my order. I had 2 call my bank & have the charges reversed becaz they UNJUSTLY denied my refund. I don't owe them & have never ordered from them before & was treated unfairly. They had a dispute with someone else & tried to make me pay. Very unfair and unjust.Johnnie
This was the most awful low quality wig I every purchased. This use to be a great company back in the days and I was hoping it was still good. I cant believe you as a company purchased this wig, looked it over and still decided to sell it to your customers. It was poor quality and looked nothing like this pick except for the frizziness, look closer and it's there. I returned the same day I received it for a refund and I was told then it was a on sale and couldn't get a refund so not only poor quality, poor customer service. What I received wasn’t what was pictured in the catalog or online. So I googled it, the color was at the wig.shop. The only recent I didn’t return it was because it was a gift from my husband and it would have hurt him. He didn’t know about color selection. What he selected was what he thought was in the picture.
