I was pleasantly surprised by the color, and natural look of this wig. I’m undergoing chemo and wanted something cute and sassy and casual. Because I’m not sure of my future and not sure if I’d be comfortable wearing a wig, I didn’t want to invest too much in one until I knew how it would work. I love this wig. It’s so beautiful. The hairline is spacious and can be parted anywhere. The curls are full n the texture of the hair is perfect. If I wasn’t experienced in wearing wigs, this would have been a really frustrating and disappointing purchase. As soon as I took the hair out of the box, the ends seemed really tough and frizzy, to the point where the comb gets stuck. Because the quality is so poor, I ensure extremely gentle combing but somehow one of the tracks has already broken within the first 1-2 weeks. The **** are that once you tint the lace/add makeup and cut your baby hairs, the hairline blends really week and looks realistic. If you’re more of an expert at tailoring your own wigs then this isn’t too bad, but you won’t be able to wear it for too long because of the quality. If it was cheaper like the original price in the US then I don’t think I would have minded as much.Danielle C.

I am obsessed with this wig! This was my 3rd time ordering, but my first time getting a wig installed for daily wear. When I tell you!!!! It doesn’t feel heavy on my head. It’s a tad tight, BUT I think that’s because I’m not use to wearing one daily, not because of the make of the unit. The color is EXACTLY what I expected and is a perfect summer blend I love that it is a side part too because I love doing a clipped back look behind my ear (will make it easier to wear my walkie at work) I thought it was gonna be too long but I actually love the length! Definitely would recommend for someone that just wants a big change and wants something completely different. I went from super short hair, to this length and I’m glad I didKay B.

Beautiful wig in GL14/22SS. This blonde shade is perfect for my natural brunette skin tone (light to medium neutral leaning toward warm). It's not too warm, nor is it too cool, and it doesn't wash me out. I discovered Gabor recently and love the hairline and softly shaded roots of the shaded shades. The hair is soft and fine. It tends to be a face flopper on me, but I plan to train it back. My photo shows it clipped on the right side.Lydia S.

This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Although I've never tried Raquel Welch's "Winner," Serving Style seems similar to the basic (non-Elite) version of that wig, with the addition of a lace front for off-the-face styling versatility. She's going to be really great for the warmer months in particular. I'm very glad I bought her!Tricia L.

I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. Perfect color if you’re a brunette and you want to start going lighter and have it look natural. Will put a review on YouTube under “it’s a wonderful wig” since I love this so much. Unfortunately, this keeps happening over and over. The Rene of Paris wigs I buy are usually on clearance and therefore I cannot return them. I have finally learned my lesson. It isn't the fault of Wigstudio1 – they are wonderful to do business with – it is the manufacturer. I am sure there are plenty of ROP's wigs that are nice but every one I have purchased, the fibers are are dry and feel like matted doll hair. Wyatt is no different. And it has an excessive amount of permatease. That said, I don't like permatease and so I typically go for those with very little so this particular wig seemed to have an excessive amount. I had a couple of other ROP wigs that didn't and others say that this didn't so maybe it was just this one piece. I tried washing it with Jone Renau shampoo and conditioner and used a conditioning spray and it just got even more dried out, matted and I could not tame the permatease. It looked like a big pink mushroom cloud on top of my head. All of this said, the color is beautiful. I do like the watermelon R and wish I could find something similar, but in another brand. Anyway, I am sorry to leave this review but I wanted others to know my experience. Of course it seems it worked out great for others so perhaps it was just my particular piece or my being finicky.erin

I debated this wig for a long time because in most media, the bangs seem wonky, and in some review videos, it seems kinda poofy in a dated way. I've become tired of buying wigs that require a bunch of work before I consider them ready to wear. Anyway… Right out of the box, I saw that, why yes, these bangs will need work, but overall the wig looked very promising, and marble-r is such a soft and very believable color. The cap is very well done and realistic. So, Angela has a side part, yet the bangs turn in toward it, instead of following the flow and direction of the side part. It just isn't how someone would do their hair. The hair has A LOT of return hair in it, especially the bangs, aka the worst place to have an abundance of it. Return hair are fibers that are shorter than the rest and they tend to stick out. I feel like Rene of Paris monotop wigs tend to have a lot of return hair. You can carefully steam them (or carefully use either a hot air brush, or even more carefully, a hair dryer with a concentrator nozzle–not recommended by manufacturers or retailers, but I do it out of sheer frustration. Those return hairs are stubborn.) I needed to trim the bangs. I steamed the bangs to improve the direction and return hairs. There's enough return hair throughout the body of the wig that it makes it look a little "ratty at the back", as my bff said. I want to take the time to tame the rest of the return hair, but I haven't yet. It's also a little tangly in general, but I'm trying to be careful with it and not brush it as much as I really want to… The monotop is not comfortable, but hopefully that's just this unit, and it improves with wearing and washing. It's a little tight on my average (but leaning toward large) head. The ear tabs sit on a good spot near my ears. It has wave but is not poofy. I like the length and shape of it, long, feminine, like I tried to look nice by giving my hair a once-over with a bigger-barreled curling iron. You could definitely wear this up or down, make it look more casual, or dressier. I only wish it had more color choices. The color options on this one are dismal. (You can see all the colors on the actual ROP site.) They came out with what looks like a related wig just now, and it's color choices are just as lacking. I don't know who is approving these color options, but they're apparently from the Henry Ford school of thought, "they can have any color they want as long as it's black." I would repurchase this wig but there's no other color that grabs me, so I'll say that if it ages nicely, so far I feel that I would buy another down the road when it's time to retire this one. If they had more color choices, I would buy another, and soon, to see if I like it as well as I do this one so far.Jay

I’ve been looking for a short pixie with a side swept bang, and—finally—this is it! What I like about Amara: 1) It’s very short at the nape. The hair barely touches my collar. 2) it’s a snug fit. When you bend your head forward, it doesn’t slide, flip up, or move off your neck at all. (I don’t worry about this wig at all when I’m sailing.) 3) Although it is a short wig, it still has that classic ROP profile with a tapered back and a little “poof” at the crown. 5) The bang. I love me a side swept bang! 6) The hair is nice and short around the ears. Usually I have to tuck the hair of every wig behind my ears, but not this one. 7) The color (Creamy Blond) is very neutral. I have cool undertones and look terrible in blonds that are yellow. This is definitely a platinum, but a slightly warm platinum—not white at all. Balanced. Neutral. What I don’t like about Amara: 1) Some of the layered hairs flip out a little in the back instead of laying straight with the rest. If I can’t tame them, I’m going to carefully clip them off. What some others might not like about Amara: 1) This style has a basic cap with perma-tease, no mono anything, and no lace front. It’s doesn’t have a ton of perma-tease but enough to keep the volume. Upon close inspection of the crown, your wig secret may be exposed. However, it’s no worse and probably better than most other wigs with basic caps. Personally, I like the volume from perma-tease and don’t give a hoot whether people know I wear wigs (all my friends know anyways). 2) The cap is tight! Probably not a good choice for a larger head. But, I like a tight cap. It’s not so tight that I get a headache. 3) Ear tabs are short. This wig won’t work if you need to cover a lot of bio- hair at your side burns. Overall, this is the wig I’ve been looking for and I’m happy with my purchase.Marie

BIG 10 — I like talking with your knowledgeable staff. They answer my questions and make suggestions. Trend Setter is very stylish and I get lots of compliments. IV been wearing it in and off for several years. I like switching up my wits but always go back to Trend Setter. I really would love it if they made it in a human hair piece or heat friendly that would be so awesome. Imagine the sales going up. I know this wig is popular. I have bought Trendsetter in gradient charcoal for some years now and have 8 of them, having the best ones for special occasions, average for every day, and the other one for work. Now I have received the ninth one, and am SO disappointed. No longer does Trendsetter have flicked up waves, it is half the thickness that it was, and it is straight with no bounce. Has anyone else had this experience? I believe they are being made more cheaply, or have been taken over by an inferior company who have no idea what Trendsetter is supposed to be. My friends say “Have you had a hair cut? Oh well, it will grow!!” How disappointing!Virginia P.

I chose Glazed Vanilla and Silver Mist. The style is very flattering and super easy to wear. You just shake it out, put it on, comb the bangs into place a go! I've been a blonde for years so enjoy the Glazed Vanilla for work. The Silver Mist is gorgeous. Since I'm all grey now, it's a fun weekend wig. The Trendsetter is very comfortable to wear. It has a light airy feel, like your own hair. I wear an average size and it's great, with easy adjustable straps if you need a tighter fit. I love this wig. It looks so natural, and so comfortable on. This is the only one I ever wear. The first time I cut my hair short this was the style I had. So, when I started wearing this wig no one thought anything. They just thought I went back to my short style and love it. It is so easy to maintain. The wig length and fullness were not well suited for me. The synthetic hair seemed both shorter and less thick than described, especially in the crown area where really needed to make the wig look more like site images and product description. The color was nice, and as expected. The cap fit, but barely. It was difficult to align the sides/ear tabs well enough to allow a fit good enough to make it look more like my natural hair than a wig. Additionally, the right side was shorter, and due to the fit issue I was not inclined to having it trimmed to see if that would improve the look.Sheryl

Thank you so much for a truly amazing product. I have ordered before from different companies and every single time I open the box and my heart sinks. I honestly feel they got the orders mixed up. The other companies say that the lighting makes the color look different, but the whole wig was not what I ordered. Your product is perfect. It looks exactly like what I ordered, color, style everything is perfect. It took me 2 days to build up the courage to open the box and look. I am so use to getting something that is not at all like what I ordered, than I thought this would be another time I would waste money sending it back. I love the wig, and I love the fit. I like this wig however sometimes the cap is too small. The two I bought last month fit perfectly. One of the wigs I bought last year shouldn't have passed the quality control inspector if you have one. The hair separated at the crown. I have brushed and teased but it never did perform as expected.JANET M.

I was looking for a unit that would go with my overall Thanksgiving look and when I saw this unit in the Chocolate/Caramel color, I knew it had to be mine. I used to love Forever Young wigs. They were practically the only wig I wore. And I wear them full time so I know my stuff. When I opened this box, I could not believe it. Thin, rough, hair that looks like a rats nest. And the length on these is absolutely inaccurate. I have no idea what happened to Forever Young, but this is the second disaster of a wig that I have purchased from them. Lesson learned. Something happened and they have lost their quality. Check the dates on the positive reviews here and you'll see that they are all several years old. Then there's Vouge Wigs return policy. By the time I make this return, I would have spent fully half of what I paid for them on shipping, charges and random fees. Go take a thorough look at their return policy. It's a mess, and the customer gets screwed. So goodbye Forever Young and Vogue Wigs. I miss your former quality.Holly

I bought this wig a long time ago and it sat in the box for a while. Finally pulled it out because my other curly wigs were just too hot this summer, and so glad I did. I get compliments all the time from people who have no idea it's a wig. I love seeing their shocked faces when I tell them. Anyway, the only reason it sat is bcs it's a bit shorter than I would like. I wish FY would make the exact same wig 2 inches longer. The curl is absolutely beautiful and matches my bio-hair curl. Very soft texture and good quality, no shedding. Holds curl without product so it stays soft and dry. No crunchy wet look. You can't beat this wig and definitely get more than you paid for. I trimmed the bangs a good 1/2 inch and that was it. I’m very happy with this wig considering how inexpensive it is. The cap is comfortable and fit my larger head with no issues. I do wish it had clips, but I can add those on my own. The curls are glamorous without looking too overdone, and the bangs help the wig look more natural by covering the hairline. The hair is extremely shiny so I added some dry shampoo powder. I ordered the Honey Blonde which was actually more of a orange with blonde highlights, but it is still attractive.Haley

When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.

I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

The most natural looking wig I have ever purchased. A friend who knows I wear wigs, asked if she was seeing my bio hair. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. Center Stage has the most natural looking 'part' and believable density. I currently have this in 2 different but similar colors. I am shocked to see negative reviews. All it takes is a little patience with water, spray and/or gel to fool even a best friend. I don't want to forget to rate the comfort level-also deserves 5 stars.NBS

Folly was one of my first wigs. When I first started, it seemed like so much hair because I was used to having such fine thin hair, and I did thin it a little. I now wish that I had not, because I went a little too far in one spot. After trying out many more wigs, and owning several different styles, I realize now that this is a low density wig. The best part is that even though it is low density, it really covers all of the wefts, and I never have to worry about wefts showing, even during windy conditions. I have done waterparks with this one, and it is perfect even drenched. The only downside I can give this affordable wig is that there is no way to wear the hair without bangs. It is tough to even push them to the side and have it look normal. The way it is sewn into the front only allows for pretty much straight down bangs. Also, note that there are no monofillament features in this wig at all. There is permatease to cover the wefts on the top, but it is not poofy at all. You just need to get creative in how you part it.brahm

This wig was perfect as far as size and I am a petite. The color is great although the roots are a tiny bit darker than I wanted but it's very well made and overall color is what I expected. The style and shape are super natural and at my age late 60's, I feel that it works without looking too young for me. The hairline is great and looks very natural. It took a while to get the front area to be shaped away from the face, but the fibers are easy to work with.Marsha B.

The hair is so thin on the top back that the net shows in two places. It’s also big for a petite. The color and style is cute. I’d send it back if I hadn’t worn it for a day before I notice it. I know from past experience that if it’s been worn returns are not accepted. I will in the future look over my wig very carefully before wearing it.Linda S.
