If you have a small project that doesn't need to match another finish, this is a great product. If, on the other hand have a large project like 15 stairs plus banister bases, it is very difficult to match between batches. I was never able to match the original color and ended up wastig an entire bottle. Tips: 1: Poke a small hole inthe tip (do not cut the tip off). 2: Make small batches to test on the exact wood and exact sanding until you get the exact formula (and log each batch with the mix ratio), then mix the large batch using scaled measurements. 3: Keep the logs in case you need to repair or replace an original finished piece. 4: It is very messy and will ruin any clothes and won't come off of your hands easily. 5: If you are mixing it with a finish (urethane), your last 1-2 coats should not contain any dye, otherwise it will come off when wiped or mopped or gets wet.gary
Very easy to use. Easy to mix with water. You can also put a few drops on a damp cloth and wipe on without diluting for a darker stain application. Another way I've used it is to stain the wood one color and after drying, use another color to stain "streaks" for a beautiful effect. After drying spray a light coat of poly from a rattle can, give a very light sanding, then fill grain as needed according to wood type and desired finish. Would prefer a rinse that lasted longer and not used with each shampoo as a conditioner/rinse. Bottle is large and information printed on bottle was hard to read. considered returning to Seagoville Walmart (they did have 1 bottle in stock so could tell it was the same product). It is not carried in Terrell or Forney. I will keep it, but not sure will buy again.Alice

I am in love with Roux Fanci-full Temporary Hair Color Rinse in Frivolous Fawn as it's a lifesaver in-between trips to the salon. Roux addresses my outgrow when I've got extended time separating my salon visits and allows me to successfully blend my outgrow without lines separating my hair color and what's been treated with Roux and doesn't alter my gator color nor cause any damage. It's super easy to apply and the only con I've experienced after multiple applications is that it can be a little messy as it's pure liquid. However, I simply cover myself by draping a towel over my shoulders and covering the area when I'm standing and the vanity in front of me with towels also for easier cleanup even though it's super easy to wipe up and doesn't stain so long as you cleanup any and all spills immediately following your application. Frivolous Fawn matches my lowlights beautifully thus allowing it to blend beautifully and seamlessly AND also blends my premature grey (thank you Ren for being a handful and stressing me out constantly – KIDS!!?!!) as well. Thanks to this being a temporary hair color it not only doesn't cause any hair damage but also doesn't alter my permanent color so that it allows my stylist to color, lowlights and highlight my hair as usual and with the exact hair color results as always. Brilliant concentrated watercolour dye for brush, pen, or airbrush for work intended to be reproduced cartooning, manga, anime, illustration, graphic arts 56 brilliant concentrated colours conforms to astm d-4236 ap approved non-toxic use on paper, illustration board, silk with additives not lightfast, not waterproof. for work intended to be reproduced. the colours will fade from sunlight or fluorescent light (ultra-violet). will not fade in a portfolio, or under incandescent light. protect from fading with ultra-violet absorbing glass, plexiglass or uva acetate. make permanent on fabric (textile) silk, cotton, batik, tie dye when used with additives as follows: salt and vinegar, alum, or soda ash (calcium carbonate). make a test piece first to make sure of the washfastness of the dye on fabric. mixing radiant with heavy body acrylic makes it waterproof and lightfast. epoxy, polyurethane, clear uva acetate (for framing), ultra-violet absorbing glass (for framing) can also be used for reducing fading.
