Reviews:
This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT
Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. I just wish I had discovered wigs many years ago when I started losing my bio hair would have saved me many tears when I was buying every product out there to get my hair back. I will try to take a pic today with the wig on and send your way! Hope you all have a very wiggy wonderful day!!!Angela H.
I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

The color and style of this wig was absolutely beautiful! Great quality, great style, great price & would definitely recommend for gals that prefer darker colored hair. Unfortunately when I held this one up to my face, the color made me look completely washed out. I have started the return/exchange process for a blonde color. Looking forward to seeing how this works out. Customer service has been great so far!!Vikki
I have 100% hair loss and a sensitive scalp. I bought this one to wear around the house with a thick cotton liner on those days when I need a break from the adhesives I use with my 100% hand tied wigs. It's a great style. I wish it came in a 100% hand tied version WITHOUT that cone-head "bump" on the crown that's so unnatural. Since it's a wear-away-from-the-face style, the lace front should be ear-to-ear instead of just the crown. Please find a more comfortable lace because the standard is itchy. The Glazed Strawberry bills itself as a "light red" but it reads as brown. I wish more wig manufacturers offered light reds that look honestly red, not brown, not orange/ginger, but real red strawberry blonde with blonde streaks. Glazed Strawberry is nice but just too dark and too brown.Tish
I found her on Clearance at Wigstudio1.com. I love her. Her fibers are regular synthetic and the density is light. If there is permatease it is not noticable. The lace front is spectacular and leaves a perfect hairline. Thank you Wigstudio1 for being such a wonderful retailer!Denise B.

Reviews:
I love everything about the Editors Pick. The feel, look and styling is just what I wanted. No one has ever guessed I was wearing a wig. On the 24th of June this year, I had my 68th birthday and my husband and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. Editors Pick gave me the look and confidence I needed when we had our special anniversary party. Thank you so very much!!!Patricia C.
This is a beautiful wig. However, the color was a disappointment. My hair is pure white and while I knew it would not be a perfect match I was hoping there would be more similarities. The color description said lightest gray evenly blended with pure white. I feel that there is much more gray than pure white. Also, The wig looked more like a medium gray color with very little pure white standing out. If it weren’t for that I would give it a 5 star rating.
I was waiting for my wig to arrive anxiously. I was worried about the color being too red and also unsure about the fit of the cap on my 23inch head. Turns out that the color is just a warm blond, which is perfect! I do love the platinum highlights around the face! The cap fits my head very well, so no problems there. It's amazing how much it looks like real hair, so much so that in my mind IT IS real hair! Wearing it is like taking a trip down memory lane. I used to have the same color, texture, and cut 35 years ago. I do feel that I look significantly younger wearing this wig. I have very sensitive skin, but this fiber does not irritate my neck. It barely touches my shoulders and does not irritate that skin either. I don't really know how to style hair, so it's lucky that this wig looked great right out of the box. I think it has that European chic. I love the softness of the cut around the face and of the waves. I don't think I'll ever want to wear another wig ever again!

Reviews:
I absolutely adore Simmer in Deepest Ruby. It breaks my rules as a natural biohair redhead to have a color that is obviously not a natural red, but she is so much fun. I find myself grabbing Simmer always over my more natural red color wigs. She's great down or pinned back. The best part is how easy she is to style, just a few shakes and a wide tooth comb and you are done.Terri
I ordered this in Iced Sweet Cream and in the Shaded Biscuit. The Shaded Biscuit seemed much darker in person. It was too dark for me so I kept the Iced Sweet Cream. It is perfect! It looks so natural. It’s light to wear, and hugs the head perfectly. No one can tell that you are wearing a wig. I did take out a little of the bulk and brushed it to be more wavy than curly. I absolutely love it! Very high quality! It is my new favorite. Although I also bought the Drive wig in the Rooted Pearl Blonde, and the Heidi wig in Laguna Blonde so it’s a tough call. Drive is my second favorite making Heidi third.Antoinette

When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.

The most natural looking wig I have ever purchased. A friend who knows I wear wigs, asked if she was seeing my bio hair. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. Center Stage has the most natural looking 'part' and believable density. I currently have this in 2 different but similar colors. I am shocked to see negative reviews. All it takes is a little patience with water, spray and/or gel to fool even a best friend. I don't want to forget to rate the comfort level-also deserves 5 stars.NBS

I FIRST bought the regular Sparkle wig in Coppery Mink and LOVE the color. So I bought the Elite in the same color, assuming they would be the same. Just know that the colors, though named the same, are NOTHING LIKE THE REGULAR SPARKLE COLOR. The Coppery Mink in the Elite wig had big hanks of ORANGE hair throughout. After talking with the factory I learned that these are not machine blended like the regular Sparkle wig. They are hand blended. So I hated to, but I returned that color and ordered one in shades of brown. I LOVE IT. THE ELITE WIG IS EVEN MORE LIGHTWEIGHT THAN THE ORIGINAL; YOU FORGET YOU EVEN HAVE IT ON. The original is very comfortable but the ELITE is even more so. Unlike a previous style of wig I ordered, it has the perfect amount of hair and does not need thinning. You'll love the look and feel of the "hair" in the ELITE. So soft and touchable! As long as you discuss with a rep the color difference between the reg and the Elite, you'll not be disappointed!Judy S.
Sparkle Elite was my first wig, and once I got used to so much hair, I liked it. Since I'm about 50% gray and 50% medium brown, I was unsure what color to choose. I didn't want too dark hair or gray hair. I eventually decided on color #61 in hopes it would be a platinum white – silvery white. The color is spot on, and I feel sassy in it. I did have my stylist remove some of the fullness in my Sparkle Elite, and she also trimmed up my bio hair sideburn and nape areas so that they wouldn't peak out from under the wig. I definitely recommend at least a monofilament part. I don't worry about wefts showing even on such a short cut.Becky
I've purchased many wigs from Vogue and never been disappointed and that is certainly true for Sparkle Elite in color R10 Beautiful straight out of the box. I did nothing but shake it, put it on and ginger comb. It is very comfortable and not itchy or scratchy. I love the mono too because it looks like the hair is growing out of your scalp. I also purchased a Sparkle that has just the perms tease top and is also very nice for every day wear and the Sparkle Elite for work and errands and so forth.

Waited to get this wig for over a year… I bought it because it looked exactly as i saw on sugar puff and fluff Wig review. Watched it many times … fell in love with it and when I got it it was not the wig I saw on the review. The hair was soooo dense couldn’t do anything with it. I was so disappointed .. thank you for letting me tell my experience…Tami M.
This was my first order by phone. Antonia, who is fabulous all on her own, helped my order Flirting with fashion and In Charge. If you need help ask for Antonia because she makes ordering a pleasure. When the wigs arrived it was a thrill to take them out and try them on. I love Flirting With Fashion. She was perfect out of the box. I ordered her in Biscuit. She did not let me down. Flirting With Fashion is the shortest wig I have ever purchased and I am glad that She’s mine. The razor cut is fun and easy to style. All you need is your fingers. I will wear her often!Earlaine B.

I have purchased this wig from you many times. It has always been my favorite and I have received many compliments when wearing it. So when the website said ‘final sale’, I wasn’t concerned because I was so familiar with this style. But when I put it on, it was not the usual fullness. The ends were so thin that they didn’t style! I called customer service and was told it is a different manufacturer and no return because it’s a final sale. Now I have to spend another $50.00 to get it cut and styles just so that it’s wearable. I am not a happy customer at all.Scherrie
I really like this Raquel upstage wig. Lots of ways to style, love the lace front, mono top and the color I chose. Shaded ice pumpkin spice. Plus it's heat friendly. I washed it once so far and put a clip on the back wig tag and hung it upside down in my shower, it dried quickly. A personal choice for me was to use got2be in the black tube to hold also a velvet wig band to prevent slippage. I would definitely buy it again, but I'm also wanting to try Untold Story by Raquel. I also like the color firey copper. Use only products made for heat friendly synthetic wigs and a round air brush on low to style. I would give 5 stars but the lace ftont doesn't lay flat without a bit of work and got2be glue.Cathy
I absolutely LOVE Upstage Petite by Rachel Welch. It is perfect right out of the box. I won't even get bangs cut in this one (and I always wear bangs – LOL). The texture is soft and the density is just right. The color is beautiful (Iced Mocha). The cap size is very small – even for a Petite. I had to loosen the straps all the way out, otherwise it was too tight. But, I do have long hair that I wear up in a mesh wig cap – so maybe it would be OK for someone with very fine short hair.Erin W.

I got this from somewhere else and color was wrong so I returned it; now that I’ve found the correct RW color for me, I may reorder. I’d do ANYTHING to find this EXACT style, fiber, cap but maybe an inch or two longer on the nape. Not sure I can carry off that shoulder. But the fibers felt real, the amount of hair felt real and I LOVE the front of the cap – you can pull a little bio hair out and it looks great. I know most people love lace fronts but I hate them – they’re beautiful but horribly itchy and unpleasant and you can’t pull out bio hair. Very hard to find mono caps without lace fronts. This one was SO comfortable. Just need a tiny bit more length. Definitely sold on HF fibers, feel SOOOO much more realistic. Tough journey for me so far but I’m learning.LJT
I love Sincerely Yours! I wore it to my nephew's high school graduation. The fibers look and feel silky and real.Tina L.
