The description states "Headband" while in actuality it's a scarf. It also has two combs (one in front, one in back) to attach the wig to the hair on your head. I have no hair. I would not have purchased this style had I known the correct specifications. Since I read the reviews about the poor customer service when requesting a refund I found a way to secure the wig to my bald head. So far I haven't experienced any shedding or loss of hair and I always wash my units when I receive them and the curls bounced back to their amazing fluffy bouncy self. Bought this piece because of the reviews online. They were pretty spot on so far. The curls are very bouncy, pretty, and full. I have only worn her once and received lots of compliments. My only qualm is the amount of hair. I had to do a little thinning before I felt it looked good. But even though there is a lot of hair, the piece is very light weight which has been true to other reviews. I don't use the combs but it has ample head room, big head friendly; and comes with a long comb up front and a smaller one in back along with two adjustable straps, pretty standard these days. I didn't do much fluffing of the curls because one that I cut out, I pulled it loose and separated it. The bouncy curl really pulled out to a loose wave. I won't mind that after a few more wears. The color was spot on to my hair color. I bought a #2. After wearing the half wig, I wish I had gotten the full wig instead. I just think the curls, after they drop or are pulled out, will be nicer on the full wig. It was a great purchase thus far and I do recommend it especially for those that have the creativity to do many styles with a half wig. I actually purchased some #2 braid hair, braided a long section, then used it as a braided head band over the front of the piece. Hopefully I can get some good, long wear out of is but that is TBD. I ordered two of these wig styles. I wore the gray one to a mother's day brunch. As I was standing by my car, a lady called out Madia as she was passing by in her car. She thought I looked like the Tyler Perry character. I will never wear that wig again. The black one was designed with way too much hair. The hair does not fall correctly and it has too many layers. I love the idea of the Holland Headband Hair Piece. However, I found the scarf part too tight and uncomfortable in hot weather. So, I de-constructed mine to fit my wide yoga head bands. The curly hair sits a little too-high on my head. I'm already 5'9" and I don't need much more height. Gonna have it trimmed down a bit. The hair is soft, springy, and flattering. Put your own spin on it if adjustments are needed to fit your personality.Sharon
