How to protect and care for a wig proper care for a wig can help protect it's longevity and keep you looking great! steps 1. when you need to comb a wig, be gentle. do not use regular brushes, and if you can, only comb it. it doesn't need combed every day, so let it rest. 2. while you're sitting at home, take it off and put it on a wig stand. the stand will help keep its shape and taking it off your head takes away from your own tugging and pulling hairs out. 3. after washing a wig, do not shake it in a towel. be careful and dry it piece-by-piece. this makes sure that strands of fibers don't fall off. also, never style your wig while it's wet. even those wet-to-style hair stylers are known to damage your wig. 4. after saturating your wig in water, squeeze it dry. don't wring it or the base of your wig could become mis-shaped and dry funny. 5. while washing your hair, never use shampoo meant for natural hair. even though normal conditioner is ok, the shampoo is too harsh and can lead to hair falling out. 6. you can condition your hair every couple weeks or so, to keep it shiny and soft. make sure you don't do that every day and be sure to rinse it all out or it could lead to build-up in your wig. 7. only wash your wig after wearing it for 25 times. if you do this daily or even weekly, it can lead to your wig looking less realistic and falling apart.

I like this wig however sometimes the cap is too small. The two I bought last month fit perfectly. One of the wigs I bought last year shouldn't have passed the quality control inspector if you have one. The hair separated at the crown. I ordered this style in the color Kahula…It is a light/medium brown with blonde highlights. I had a hard time getting a picture that really captured the shape but it is pretty close to the model. The curls look really natural…like you have naturally curly hair and the style is a fun combination between tame and wild (if that makes sense!) I have probably 20+ wigs and wear them everyday…I got this one because it was totally different from any others I have. I work a very physically demanding job, so I wanted something that was cute but would not tangle or require me to mess with it during my shift. I did wear this out tonight for girls night out with my best friend…I can always count on her to tell me the truth about the basics – does it look natural, is it flattering, and most important, does it look "wiggy"…this one passed with flying colors! The other thing I like was the price…I typically only buy mono-top wigs because they look so natural, but with the curls, it isn't noticeable at all and it keeps the price down. I can definitely see myself buying this in another color!

I ordered this wig a while back and this one didn’t lay like I remember, the one I received my first time ordering was perfect and had sort of a widows peek hairline which I feel helped it lay Better when I wore a side part. This one had a lot of frays so I couldn’t really get a natural effect like I wanted from it and it shedded way more than I remember it doing the first time I ever ordered it. I disagree with the last review…I love this wig. It's the first synthetic wig that I have purchased. I now own two. I look fab it and it wears and lays well. You must know, and if you don't, you must learn to style any wig weather synthetic or human hair. Keep trying to work that wig more before you give up and give a bad review, because what doesn't work for some may work for a few. I say that because of the cut (realistic) and affordability of the wig. My only con would be that I wish that there were more auburns and blonds in the same look, style and cut. Love this wig.
