I have very sparse brows. Would kill for a pair of hairy catterpillars I could shape! 😉 Having used an eyebrow pencil for years whose waxy texture just seemed to pull even more brow hairs out with each use, I decided enough was enough and it was time to try something else before all the hair was gone! I think I saw a micro blading pen by an influencer on the socials and thought it looked pretty great, and tried to find one for myself. I wasnt sure which colour to choose in the Benefit brow pens range but chose the lightest blond – as I’m quite fair but not an actual blond myself. When the pen arrived I tried it on my hand – could barely see the product and I felt annoyed that I had bought the wrong colour. Anyway, it seemed to dry quickly and lasted, so the next day, tried it on my brows. I didn’t use any product on my brows before applying (as another reviewer had said it wouldn't go on if this was the case) a few strokes and I could see that the colour match was absolutely fine! Goes on very easily, and can be built up. I was so impressed! Love how this feels on, no dragging, no pulling, can get a really good shape. Once on, cant feel it at all! Not like the waxy pencils! Ive been swimming with it on and it stays on very well. I’ll definitely be keeping to eyebrow pens from now on! I just love it! Wish i’d found it sooner! My only gripe is my technique needs a bit of work to get the right look, that’s on me! Also I have a scar in one brow that it just will not cover. Natural, quick, foolproof solution for thinning/sparse eyebrows. My eyebrows have faded considerably since menopause and are thinner that the current trend (over-plucking in the ‘70’s – didn’t everyone?). This fab little marker gives me lovely youthful brows. It won’t give you hair where you haven’t any, but does colour subtly and fills in between hairs. You must let it set for a half minute or so, then it won’t budge until you remove it. (I’m an OCD face-toucher.) I disagree with the colour conversion chart. This formula is much more subtle than Benefit’s brow mascara. I wore 3 (3.5 was too dark), but the medium brown in this formula is perfect for me and flattering to my complexion (Dior AirFlash 104/1C) and hair – level 6/7. Consistency of the product is a sheer liquid; it's so weightless, you barely even feel it's on your skin and it sets pretty quickly. Great display for someone on an average budget. Good for 3D texturing and sculpting. Response time is great. Pen pressure works great. It doesn't have any buttons on the display itself, but I use keyboard shortcuts so that hasn't affected me. The more you use it the more small scratches will appear on the screen. It probably happens more as the pen nibs wear out and get flat spots. You'll want to have extra nibs for a smooth experience. Overall it's good for the price. I recommend getting the Wacom adjustable Landscape stand if you want to use it in a better position as a second monitor, or if you want to use it hanging off the edge of your desk.DrowningChao
The Wacom Cintiq 16 is a great launchpad into digital drawing on a PC or Mac. I had been using Procreate 4 on an older iPad using an older Wacom pro stylus, and while I was getting some good results I knew I needed an upgrade. For me it was a choice between an iPad Pro with Apple Pen combination so I could utilize the newer version of Procreate, or getting the Cintiq. I don't regret the Cintiq at all! I love the feel of the product. The screen has a slight texture to it which feels like you're drawing on paper, and I bought the optional adjustable stand as well so I can change the angle as I work. The pen is awesome and accuracy is not an issue at all. I was pleasantly surprised with how accurate I could be right out of the gate. I love the pressure sensitivity and I find settling into digital drawing on the Wacom is less awkward for me than starting to draw on Procreate 4 was. I know the color spectrum isn't as broad on this Cintiq as it would be on the pro version, but I'm not at a stage where that is a problem. I do envision myself eventually upgrading my iPad and still doing stuff in Procreate or another drawing app so I can be a little more mobile. The Cintiq is definitely for use on a desk or table top as it has to be connected to your computer to function. I've been trying to save up enough to buy a Cintiq ever since Wacom released the very first models. But they were always out of my reach-until now. I began my journey as an artist using traditional media for many years before "going digital" about 11 years ago. I can honestly say that the Cintiq 22 has finally given me the drawing experience I've waited my whole life for. Yes, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles the pro versions have, but it's still a solid unit that produces a fabulous upgrade from my Intous Pro M tablet. I made the mistake of thinking I could settle for one of the lower cost pen displays, but it ended in disaster. The drivers caused such severe issues with my PC that I had to return the item unused. Some folks may say hat Wacom is overpriced, but when buying a pen display you really DO get what you pay for. Since I already had the Wacom drivers on my PC, adding the Cintiq 22 to my system was a snap. I just plugged in the cables, turned the device on and it worked right away with no conflicts or drops in PC performance. I applied to clean brow bone, a deep Brunette, looked great. After breakfast, went back to reapply lipstick and brow color had changed, in spots, to Auburn. Had to remove and use brunette brow powder I had on hand. Returned to CVS and went to Target to buy Benefit Deep Brown which does not change colors. I had high hopes for this based on the reviews accompanying it. Tried it first on the back of my hand… even flow of color, hair-like pattern, didn't smudge after drying… yay!!! I tried it next on my brows. Left brow worked well, so started to feel excited as I went to the right brow. Almost immediately, the color stopped coming out of the applicator, and the product started to leaves spaces without color across my brow. It looked horrible. Cleaned the product off my brow and tried again… nothing came out of the pencil. Tried again this morning, same result. It's like a felt pen that has a dry tip. I’ve had micro blading done several times (end results are always not pigmented enough) and usually do my brows with shadow and an angled brush. Now that I’m going through chemo treatments and hair non existent, I want to have brows that look hairlike and not look solid. I love full yet natural looking brows. I like to pair this in the shade ash brown with elf cosmetics tinted eyebrow gel in cool or neutral brown. First I use the tinted brow gel to feather out my brows. Next I go in with this marker and subtly draw hairs where I feel my brow looks sparse. I promise you these two paired together are a killer combo for feathered eyebrows! I do my eyebrows almost every day and this product seems to last about 2 months minimum. I would also say this product is easy to remove with a cotton swab if you mess up. Once it dries though it's pretty set. Unless you are sweating, you the product might move a little but nothing too dramatic at all.Bree
When I 1st started using this pen I thought it was great. At first I was only using it for a couple of hair like strokes between my brow hairs or in the front part of brow through brow hairs with my Anastasia Brow Pencil through majority of my brow already, then I would set them with clear brow gel. Worked okay but definitely smudged by end of day if I touched or sweated. However, I've noticed a few things since using longer; It's not waterproof like it claims and if I start sweating least bit in my brow it will literally run down my brow and smudges off quickly. I tried using the product by itself through my whole brow and I set with Laura Mercier setting powder & finished after they were dry with my Milani setting spray. I walked out in the heat and by time I was to my car the color in my eye brows was running, embarrassing. Waterproof to me means it needs to hold up through sweat. Also, the pen itself gets really messy and gets on my hands, etc., you must have a very light hand in application or color too dark and will smudge and lastly if you use too much I've noticed it dries really weird if too much used and almost flakey looking especially if mixed with other brow powder or pencil.Conner
For context, I have sparse inner brows and I shave the tails off because my natural brow shape is not flattering on me. This product works well for making fine, hair-like strokes at the front of my brow that blend with the hairs I have, and I just fill in the ends because I don't know how to do convincing hair-like strokes on bare skin. I haven't tried other brow pens so I don't have a comparison, but it works well for what I need! I use a combination of the Taupe shade for my inner to mid brow and the Ash Brown shade for mid to ends. I find that the colors are true and I have not experienced any oxidation. I have bangs that fall over my eyebrows, so I do get some smudging, but the benefit of having bangs is that it's not super noticeable anyway. I will say that the pens do leak a bit, and sometimes it stains my fingers for a day or more. It's not enough to make me discontinue using these pens. My hair has been thinning really bad on the sides and always wear my hair up, making my hair loss very visible. I don’t have money for hair implants and wanted something with immediate results and Toppiks hair building fibers was the perfect solution. It comes in a small bottle that has holes on the top, I just pour the powder into the cap and use a blush brush and brush it on the bald spots and along my hair line and it instantly looks like I have a full head of hair. I wish it came with some sort of brush but I’m sure every women has a brush they can use, I recommend a blush brush. I can’t rave about this product enough. It makes your bald spots instantly disappear and makes your hair super thick if you apply throughout the rest of your hair. This is a must have for anyone who has thinning hair , bald spots or just wants super thick hair. On a side note my brother suffers from the same problem and it worked amazing on him too. This is my first time using this type of product so I really don’t have anything to compare to but there’s no need to try any other. This works great, matches my hair well, looks natural and is lightweight and doesn’t leave my hair stiff. There’s a variety of shades available to help you match your natural hair color. It’s better to match closer to your root if you normally color your hair. It’s applied by shaking it on thinning areas and then patting to disperse and distribute the fibers. It should be used on completely dry hair. I had a virus with high fever for days and about 6 weeks later, I started losing my hair by the handfuls. I lost about 60% of my hair. I had thinning throughout my entire scalp but it was especially noticeable around my temples/hairline at my forehead. I was frustrated and to the point of almost shaving my head because I was embarrassed. I wore hats and turbans to cover my balding spots. A person in my support group recommended Toppik. Aging and prescribed medications have caused my hair to thin out, leaving my scalp way too noticeable for my liking. I have tried several different products, but none were as effective or natural looking as Toppik. Application is so simple that I was able to cover the bare spots in less than a minute. The top of the container has super tiny holes, making it simple to sprinkle as little or as much product needed to camouflage the balding areas. At first I was skeptical that it would come out when I brushed my hair, but my concern was unfounded. No matter how many times I brushed my hair, Toppik remained in place. I even rubbed my head with a white paper towel to see if the light brown color of the fibers would bleed. I am happy to say there was absolutely none of the product on the paper towel. This is an awesome penlight in terms of brightness in the high setting. I actually have owned the the Streamlight Stylus for years, but I am a physician, and the bright light was blinding for patients when examining their pupils. I purchased the Pro version because it has a "Low" setting also, which would be safer for patient use. Unfortunately, while the instructions with this version claim there are 3 possible programs, I have been unable to program the penlight to anything other than the default program, which is: the sequence of High, Strobe, Low with successive taps on the on/off button. The instructions say this can be changed to either High then Low, or alternatively, Low, then High, which is the program I need. I have repeatedly tried to reprogram without success. I have removed the batteries and re-installed without effect. Other than this flaw, these are amazing penlights- with a high mode that is brighter than most full fledged flashlights that I have used. I lost my previous Streamlight stylus, but used it for years almost daily, without ever needing to change the batteries. If the default program of "High, Strobe, Low will work for you, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this.Jeffrey
I carry one of these every day and I've used it every day. You would be surprised how often having portable illumination comes in handy. It throws a good beam surprisingly far with good brightness. It's no spotlight by any means but it's super handy due to its size and slender shape, great for looking at close details in tight spaces or simply illuminating a path. If you are used to carrying a pocket knife this is a great addition to your carry. It's only the size of a pen and it has a long battery life. Structure is very durable, however the anodize wears off easily if that kind of thing bothers you. I think it gives it character, shows use, etc… Button is a little hard to press but you can get used to that, plus it helps so you don't accidentally turn it on in your pocket or purse. An excellent addition to your daily carry IMHO. Here's mine after two or three months of riding shotgun with my pocket knife…Mike

I’ve used these for years. I work as an officer on a tugboat and we use red lights for reading charts and such. Traditionally I’d use the red light for preserving my night vision but the green or blue light help me to avoid missing or writing over red text. I’ve written over red entries in the official logbook many times. These are plenty bright it a little too much for me. I place a piece of white electrical tape over the LED and it’s kept I place by the protective boot; still plenty bright but not bothersome. The light is a fair bit longer than most pens making it a bit awkward in a shirt pocket but it’s manageable.B.H.
The Artic White LED is bright! The LED is focused in the center with no hard delineation as it fades gently to the perimeter of the beam. The aluminum case is nicely finished and the threads on the end engage perfectly as it seals with 2 "O" rings. The momentary push switch on the end cap has a solid feel and the "screw in to turn on" end cap is smooth and solid. The goose neck is stiff and holds it's shape nicely. After oral surgery I needed to precisely clean certain areas of my mouth and this works perfectly. Personally, a push-on-push-off end cap switch would be a little more convenient, but this works well and is probably more reliable.R.
Lacing this into my shoulder straps for my chest rig/radio harness so it'll project down and forward for map work and jotting down notes in my Rite-In-The-Rain notebook. These pen lights are perfect for a very select application. Most of the negative reviews are from people who thought (or didn't think…) they were buying a tablet stylus. Just like 'pen-lights' don't write on paper, this stylus doesn't function as a tablet stylus. It's just super narrow like a stylus. The light is intended for close-in work in your cockpit or driver's seat while trying to preserve your night vision. The product would be better if the momentary-on end cap button also functions as a constant-on switch. For constant-on, you have to turn the end-cap barrel. Not hard but it takes some effort with gloves on. The slip on shroud helps reduce scatter. There is no adjustment for brightness so it is pretty bright for any sensitive NV devices and older NV devices will bloom badly.k.

The search for the perfect brow product for my mature, sparse eyebrows stops here. In my collection, I probably have at least 50+ brow products comprised of tinted gels, pencils, waxes, brow "glues" and gels, thickeners, powders, you name it. Prior to trying this, my go to had been Urban Decay Brow Blade for coloring some of the gray hairs that time has not-so-graciously bestowed upon me (getting older is sometimes not too pretty, but it sure beats the alternative!). One of my favorite pens. I've always had to keep it close as other students love these pens to. Back in school no one would lend these out because they'd never give it back. Just okay for the price. I bought these at the same time I bought a pack of Triplus fineliner’s. Both are expensive. For a pen- very expensive. I found this pen to be (believe it or not) too smooth and round. It made a big difference when gripping the pen. Even though it means nothing- most users are just going to add these pens to their pen bag and toss the plastic they came in- but they come in a plastic display case that can be locked into place and provide a better view. It starts off fancy enough but overall- another fail.christine.d
Love their aesthetic and lines, their tips don't get bent if used hard (haven't tried too hard either) and their line is perfect. But, colors are way too light and combined with the 0.3 tip makes it alost imposible to see. Only use bright pink, salmon pink, dark turquoise and gray because they are the best read in paper colors. wish they were a little bit darker. On other aspects these are great!NICHOLE

I have natural/4a hair. I used this product after taking down a 6 week protective. I started off by shampooing with the TGIN Rosewater hydrating shampoo ( Which I LOVE). After that, I applied this protein treatment for about 10-15 mins. I immediately followed up with the TGIN Moisture Deep Conditioning Mask.. it left my hair feeling amazingly healthy.My hair went from feeling limp and brown to shedding and breakage, to strong and resilient to shedding & breakage. For anyone who doesn't know- protein treatments HAVE TO BE USED WITH A HYDRATING/ MOISTURIZING conditioner as the second step. I am wearing my hair curly and it's hard to tell if my hair is stronger. It did leave my hair feeling dry and I left it in without heat for thirty minutes under a shower cap wrapped in a bath towel. I have been experiencing a lot of split ends, breakage along the shaft and just overall not happy with my hair journey so I am praying for good results. Use this in my 1 yr old’s fine, curly hair as a daily moisturizer along with aloe vera juice and essential oils. I also use it to style her hair, either method keeps her curls soft, moisturized and detangled, while helping to hold her style in place. My texture is thick and curly and my hair has the same results. I do not use it to hold my styles as my texture is too thick and requires more hold. I bought this to write my Christmas cards with, and could never get the ink to flow into the nib, I tried the included ink cartridges (2 of them), tried both nibs, but still couldn't get it to work. Bummer that I didnt save the packaging or receipt to return it, where I bought it would've been 60 miles roundtrip, and we all know how much gas is these days. I got the calligraphy pen set to use on certificates. Initially the pens flowed well while I practiced. Some tips were more difficult than others to use. Receiving this product around the same time I just brought a wig which was perfect. After I wash the wig I sprayed the wig not reading the directions before hand that a little goes a long way, since I sprayed too much and had to rewash it because it was too oily. After I installed the wig I use the product to keep the hair looking shiny. But the wig seem kinda worn out even tho I only had it in for a few days and only using the spray at night. I normally wear my hair natural and wanted to switch it up, so this product isn’t something I’ll use frequently. I mean when I decide to put a wig on or maybe braids I’ll try the spray again. kori.r

I’ve been wearing wigs for the past two months. Where has this product been all my life? First, I used this product on my synthetic barrel curls wig. A couple of sprays and you have a new wig!
