Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. Sorry PY but your wigs need to be lighter weight, lay nicer, (some of us like a bit flatter style) far less perma tease or fluff, easier to wear right out of the box…Thanks anyway…Juanita
I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. Good quality for an excellent price. This is very well constructed and is surprisingly easily handled by one person. The entire pen is secured with two included hooks and then can be configured to any shape necessary. This size should provide adequate space for small dogs to enjoy for quite play. The height of this particular size may be overkill for small dogs unless they are agile jumpers. I ordered this for my greyhound for leisurely sunning without needing a leash. The height is adequate but the interior space is just enough for her outdoor bed and her body. I will order another two to provide more area for investigating the outdoors next spring.Sharon
I use these pens for my angora rabbits. They are a larger breed and some of them will jump over the other pens with little effort. I really like the door and the child proof hook. It's tall and sturdy and has enough stakes for every section. I bought it when the price came down and loved it so much that I bought two more! With each gate having a door, it'll be easy to use these a run outside of their shed. I would recommend and buy again.Yvonne B.
I like Midwest products as the metal seems to be stronger and last longer than other brands. I have the original ex-pen I bought around 1995 – it's survived 50+ large dogs. I prefer them to crates as the dogs have more room to move around, yet they are easily configured to a smaller shape when potty training. They easier to clean than crates. They fold flat and I can store them next to a fridge or behind a furnace. They work indoors/out and are great mobile containment. For dogs living in fenceless areas (condos) ex-pens can be linked using carabiners/bolt snaps (i.e., dog leash clips) for fencing moveable for mowing/snow removal. They are great for patio surrounds. You can buy metal tops for if a dog needs more containment, but most won't if using a tall enough ex-pen. I've also bought just the metal or plastic crate pans to put under the ex-pen if needed. Rather hilarious for Paula Young to ask me to review my February 9, 2022 purchase of an Easton Wig, considering that I've yet to actually receive the wig. According to the tracking information which hasn't been updated for days, my purchase is sitting in California. A full month or more is likely to have pass since I ordered this product. First, the ends are sharpish and irritating. The tip ends of the bangs irritate my forehead A LOT and the tips of the fibers of the back and sides irritate my shoulders and neck. The fiber ends POKE at my skin. It is so annoying!! The wig is itchy and I am forever scratching under and around the wig and moving the itchy poking bangs off my face when I think people aren't looking. It is a HUGE relief to take it off as soon as I get home.JANICE
I have been inspired by the classy & beautiful Diane Keaton/ Emmylou Harris look- long silvery white locks, so I decided to try it for myself. I am so happy with this beautiful color & it’s a great look on this medium length straight style. Note: This gal needed brown root spray to hide some of the light wefts, but it worked perfectly & she looks natural. I wasn't looking for this style or length of wig, but I was intrigued by this one. I was also surprised by some of the colours available. I decided to take a chance and bought the melted plum colour. I was pleasantly surprised when the wig arrived. The colour sample here doesn't do it justice. The melted plum is deep plum on top of the head (not just the roots) and fades out to silvery white at the tips. The whole wig has a silvery sheen to it. It's very flattering and eye catching, and the first time I wore it out I was stopped many times and asked about it. The wig is light weight and comfortable to wear, the short length at the back cools the neck. The bangs do hang in your face, that's how the wig is designed. I don't mind it, except outdoors if it's windy. I played around with it and found a few tricks to keep the bangs out of the eyes. A headband works, so does a hat. It's still cold here so I wore a beanie/touque over the wig when I went out, it looked stylish and kept the bangs out of the eyes. Another trick is to use got2b Ultra Glued Invincible Styling Gel, it comes in a black tube. Many people use it to glue down the part on lace front wigs. I put a dab at the root of the bangs at the front of the wig, and it glues the bangs in place to keep them out of the eyes.Patti G.
I love Reese in Rasberry Ice. It frames my face beautifully. I love tucking it behind my ear. I had a hair stylist last week ask me who did my hair and when I told her it was a wig she was surprised. She stated she would have never guessed. I feel that is the ultimate compliment. The only issue is that the back tends to fray after several months of wear when I wear high collars. Fray happens over time to any of the longer wigs that I wear. I would recommend this wigs especially if you have fuller faces.Teresa D.
Let me first say, I’m pretty sure this is NOT directly the fault of Vogue Wigs. With that being said, I’m very disappointed in my recent Jolie wig purchases! I’ve been purchasing this same wig for about 10yrs. About 4 yes ago I noticed a decline in the way the wig is made, using less hair but the price keeps rising!! Then again with the 2 I purchased most recently they seem to have done it again!!! I am beside myself as I have tried many other wigs and this is the only one that I feel Comfortable in as I wear my wig daily! I love Jolie as I’ve stated in previous reviews of this piece. PLEASE, if there is any input as a distributor that you can pass on, please do! Sorry for the negative review as I am not happy to have to do this but I feel it needs to be addressed!Robin A.
