This curler has been such a delight! First off, it's a stunning lavender and rose gold with LED settings – it looks more expensive than it actually is! The box comes with a USB cable but you'll need a power adaptor (I used the one for my phone). It charges quickly enough and stops blinking to let you know it is done. Once charged, the curling iron is extremely intuitive to use and I love that you have the option of the clamp. No issues whatsoever in curling, and I'm SO happy to report that my hair did not get stuck in the curler at any point (this has been an annoying problem with some curling irons). This is my favorite hair tool!! I have 2a-2b wavy hair that doesn't dry uniformly. This tool gives me the look that I WOULD get if my hair dried evenly and perfectly all over my head. I LOVE the look AND the style lasts for 4+ days!! WHAT! Curls don't last in my hair for 2 hours so the fact that this style lasts in my hair is just amazing. This is essentially a large crimper. Don't buy it for the curling wand part. You won't use it for that. At least I don't-it's too short to do anything with my long hair. You can adjust the look of your waves depending on the size of the section of hair you use, how long you apply heat for, and what angle you style it at. I was excited to try this hair waver. My first impression was that it was pretty and felt well made. The cord is long enough to use on both sides of my head and I like that the cord can twist/spin, which is helpful if you want to twirl your hair around it. There is a nice lock on the end of the clamp to keep it closed for storage. There is an on/off switch with a light and a dial for the temperature. It goes from low-med-high. Even on medium, it gets very hot. The thinner your hair, the less heat you need. On the box, it says it can do 2 styles, beachy waves and tousled curls. The beachy waves is easy to do; you just clamp down near the roots on a section of your hair, for about 5-8 seconds, and release and move down towards the ends. I could not accomplish the tousled curls. I have no idea how it can be accomplished in a nice way. It says clamp down and then twist your hair around it, but you get a crease in your hair that doesn't match the rest of the length of your hair. Weird! I didn't really care for the finished product. My hair looked dry and a little frizzy. It also made my white hair stand out like crazy! Apparently, white hair is stubborn to heat styling. I put some oil in it to see if it would help but it didn't do much. It did look good when I wet it though, so if you are going to the beach, it would be cute. Because of the clamping, it made my hair at where I part it look flat; I would definitely do a comb-over/flip your hair to make it look nicer. It did get my hair lots of volume but I couldn't stand the frizziness. This is definitely a case by case, differing opinions product. For beachy waves you clamp hair into the waver section. For tousled curls, you lock the plate together and wrap hair around the whole barrel. This is a regular, basic curling iron. It has an on/off switch, and nothing else, which for starters, is what I wanted. My hair is natural, and I just wanted to add some curls to it every now and then. It works. Next time, however, I will get a better one that will protect my hair better, but this serves it's purpose, and is cheap.fuches
I picked this up from the store. I have shoulder-length straightish black hair. This really doesn't create any curls for me, despite using the high setting. It does straighten my hair so it serves that purposed but other than that, I would not recommend it. I saw a bunch of youtube videos as well but it really is too small.SSS87

love the curler. I use it when I don't have time to curl my hair at home before an event with my husband driving or in the camper after my hair dries before I get out to sightsee. It heats up fast but not as hot as my previous Conair. Still curls though. The cartridges last a long time. 2-3 years if you only use it off and on. I probably use mine 6 -8 times a year. nice case but I would rather have it have the holder to put it in hot like my old one. Great price and delivered to store….the best! This is small (about the size of my hand) but powerful! Some things to know: It comes in 2 pieces in the case. You have to put the TheraCell cartridge into the iron to make it work. You then click the button to power on the iron. It sounds and smells almost like a lighter- which can be a little disconcerting but that's just the butane gas doing its thing. According to TSA, this CANNOT be checked on a plane. But you CAN put it on a carry-on, as long as you have the safety cover (the pink case it comes in!). Something else to know is that you cannot bring an extra cartridge on a plane checked or carry-on. If you think it's time for another cartridge, change it before your trip. In terms of actual performance, this curling iron performs as well as any other curling iron I've tried and doesn't take much time to heat up! The small size takes a bit of getting used to, but it's worth it to be able to curl my hair internationally without worrying about plugs.AudreyintheCity
I wanted a curling iron that was shorter and easier to handle. All of the usual ones are so heavy and cumbersome that I constantly burn my face, ears, neck, and head. They are hard to handle for an older woman without the arm and hand strength of a young person. This curling iron is smaller – but it does not open wide enough to get your hair into it – AT ALL. I was so disappointed. I thought this would be the answer to my problems. I go out with burns on my cheeks, sometimes my ears or neck, and on my scalp – from losing control of the wand and it falling on my face, neck, ears or head. This size would work IF the "iron" were about an inch longer, and the clamp would open wide so you can get your hair in it, clamp shut, and curl. If they ever lengthen the iron and fix the clamp to open wide (as large ones do), I would buy another one.Ponytails

It takes a few tries to get the hang of using a wand AND don’t forget to wear a heat glove when you’re using this. # is a great product! One easy on/off switch to get the titanium barrel up to 410 degrees in seconds. The long power cord swivels so you don’t have to worry about tangling the cord. I have long, straight, coarse hair that does not like to hold a curl… until now! I prep using #Tresemme Tres Two Extra Hold Mousse, #Lange Rival Heat Shield, put on my heat glove and curl away. I finish with # and my waves last for days! I would highly recommend the Ondul Curling Wand for coarse hair!
I am reviewing a L’ange tool that’s not listed on here. It’s called the 360 Airflow Titanium Styler. I attached a pic. I received this as a gift. I have a hard time making waves in my hair with a regular flat iron and found this styler through an email from L’ange for a sale price. I absolutely love it to make curls and waves after I flat iron my natural 3A-C curls. But I’ll stick to a regular flat iron for that because they work the best on my hair to flat iron. This Styler can also be used on a flat iron. I’d suggest to use the flat iron if you have thinner hair. It will definitely work on that. This is a little tricky to use at first. The power and heating buttons are sensitive because they’re in the place that you hold the styler to twirl around your section of hair. So I always check and see if it still on the temperature that I set it to (highest). The fan isn’t quiet but it’s not loud either. I like that it has a fan because it helps cool the curl/wave and lock it in place without all the damage from a regular flat iron with no fan. After a few tries, I got the hang of it and it’s easy! Highly recommended. Especially if you have trouble curling your hair with a regular flat iron.angel.h
I have a definite love/hate relationship with this curling wand. My wand came with the company's brand of heat protectant. This wand heats up to 450° and comes with a glove to save your fingers and hand. I highly recommend you use the glove. I have MANY burn scars proving it's not smart to use it without. The wand gives beautiful curls that last a couple of days. My hair, although naturally curly (and not the good kind), does not like to stay curled. So this wand, when used with their heat protectant, makes my curls last for usually 3 days. I love the blush pink color and the specially designed handle that keeps the cord from tangling and twisting, cuz how annoying is that? Now for the part I'm not crazy about. I swear I can smell my hair burning when using this wand. I've been growing my hair out for 3 years and it's very disheartening to think I'm destroying it for some pretty curls. So my compromise is to use other heat protectants, theirs has alcohol as the first ingrediant, and use the wand sparingly. I definitely recommend this great curling wand, just use carefully the first few times so you know how well your hair curls. My review is for the rock n waver, which is not listed on influenster. See pics. pretty much have zero idea how to use either a curling iron or this wave rod, but I did my best. The rock n waver is beautiful right out of the box, with eye catching and vibrant colors. It has an on/off switch, and +/- temp controls. Heats up VERY quickly, I was surprised it had heated up before I even got one section of hair clipped up. The glove that comes with it, unfortunately, is pretty much useless. It does not block heat whatsoever which can make using the rod difficult ad you have to hold the hair versus clamping like a traditional curling iron. I really had no idea what I was doing but it did curl my hair, and playing around with different techniques leads to different types of curls. With some practice I'm sure I will get better at it. Other than the glove and learning curve, this is an excellent hair tool and I would recommend it to anyone looking to play around with their hairstyle.cassandra.t
I bought this hoping it would work for me and it totally did! I have thin, straight, and often flat hair. If I curl my hair using a curling iron, the curls usually start to fall out after a couple hours and by the end of the day, it looks like I didn't really do anything to my hair. I used this wand to curl my hair at about 8AM. I followed my normal hair routine and finished with a light, quick spray of hair spray – nothing special. By 12PM, my curls had gotten a tiny bit looser, but barely. Everything still looked great! Came home from school at 6PM and my curls were looser, starting to get more wavy than curly, but definitely still there. By 9AM the next morning, after sleeping on them, I had beautiful waves where my curls had loosened from the day before. I have never ever ever had this happen after curling my hair before! It was awesome and totally worth the money I spent. This is the only thing that will curl my hair & leave lasting curls! Highly recommended!xianamarie
Great curls that last!! Super impressed with it! Let alone the great price! I have really long hair and enjoy using a wand for loose curls. I've seen the bubble wand and I liked how much more volume hair seemed to have so I thought I'd give it a try. Curls for DAYS! I am now on day 3 with beautiful curls still! The first day they were a lot tighter and messy (super cute) And today they are more loose like when I use a regular wand. But only having to put heat/curling iron on my hair every 3-4 days…??? My daughter spends a lot of time doing her hair, a lot. And she really loves the beachy wave look. Naturally, her hair is stick straight, so of course she wants waves and curls. I got my tear drop curling iron in the mail and decided to try it out. I like the design of this product and it’s very easy to use. My hair is very hard to keep curled from the texture and how fine it is. The curling iron held the curl but not too well. I did not have any frizz which normally when I curl my hair it gets super frizzy which was a plus! It gave me a ton of volume making my hair look thicker than it is! I love a tousled wavy hair look. I have naturally wavy hair but lately the top layer has just looked straight while the bottom has lovely ringlets and loose curls.
