This is my first time ordering I live in Canada Ontario, the wig took 9 days to come ( a little over a week). It was long, loose curls and baby hair straight out the package. Fit perfectly fine on my head I fixed the straps to my liking. Unit was 13×6 parting space, lace was light. Volume of the wig wasn’t the best compared to other sensationnel wigs, felt like a synthetic wig. The colour was burgundy wine however on my dark complexion it looked more red not burgundy. My mom gave Solana to me, because she wasn’t really feeling the color on her. I think this color is called “Chocolate Flamboyage” and when I first tried her on I too wasn’t 100% in love with this color as well, and being new to wearing synthetic wigs I really didn’t know what to do with it either lol. C-22 is an excellent product for removing any hair adhesive tape residue from your hair system. works on lace or poly cap. it is safe enough to leave your lace or poly cap soaking overnight. follow with wiping with maybe a terry wash cloth or old toothbrush to remove better. now i have never used this or any product on the new ''skin caps'' please do a patch test first. i do know that alcohol will cause you over time to make cap very thin and will split open with alcohol on thin skin caps.

If I wasn’t experienced in wearing wigs, this would have been a really frustrating and disappointing purchase. As soon as I took the hair out of the box, the ends seemed really tough and frizzy, to the point where the comb gets stuck. Because the quality is so poor, I ensure extremely gentle combing but somehow one of the tracks has already broken within the first 1-2 weeks. The **** are that once you tint the lace/add makeup and cut your baby hairs, the hairline blends really week and looks realistic. If you’re more of an expert at tailoring your own wigs then this isn’t too bad, but you won’t be able to wear it for too long because of the quality. If it was cheaper like the original price in the US then I don’t think I would have minded as much.Danielle C.
I am obsessed with this wig! This was my 3rd time ordering, but my first time getting a wig installed for daily wear. When I tell you!!!! It doesn’t feel heavy on my head. It’s a tad tight, BUT I think that’s because I’m not use to wearing one daily, not because of the make of the unit. Con- Not worth 1 star at all. Wouldve rated it 0 stars if I could. Came less than half full with leakage. Bought the real one on amazon before and compared. This one was fake. I have to say that when I first used this adhesive….I didn't like it. I thought it wasn't holding my lace frontal down. But the problem was that I wasn't using this adhesive correctly. Folks….This adhesive works great….you just have to know how to use it. Check out you tube videos on how the adhesive is supposed to be dotted along your forehead (in front of your hairline) then use your blow dyer on cool and keep it on the area you applied the adhesive until it turns clear…then re dot again for your 2nd layer and repeat same steps with the dryer. Trust me it works. It's all about getting the hang of it. Now I haven't tested out the adhesive for more than 1 to 1.5 weeks. It's just my preference to clean the lace and re-apply after a week has gone by. But otherwise it does last for that amount of time. I've gone roller skating and sweated hard and my frontal was still in tact. Just when I got home after washing my face…I tied my hair line area up with a scarf. My frontal was still laid thekiyah.j
This glue holds your lace very well. I don't have to worry about it moving or slipping. I used 4 layers and took my time to let it dry. Be very careful not to let any of your baby hairs touch the glue. Beginners should cut the lace before applying and draw a faint line to guild where the glue should be because it's strong stuff. Well, I finally learned my lesson. I cannot purchase clearance items any longer since every time I have, there has been something either wrong with the wig (manufacturing) or something I didn't like and there are no returns. There wasn't anything wrong with this piece. She just had way too much hair and the fibers were so dry they were like straw. It is a beautiful warm color but the density, the permatease and the dry fibers made this difficult to pull off. I thinned it out and tried to tame the permatease but it just didn't work. Plus, the fibers were like doll hair and so that was a dead giveaway. This was the third JR piece and all have pretty dry fibers. Is this normal? I did receive the piece quickly and as always WS1 is around to answer any questions.E.N.
I am a first time buyer, trying to figure out what fits and how to wear the wigs. I ordered 3 wigs in this first order, and two of them I can adjust and work with. But "Gwen" has very short hair and it looks nothing like the pictures! I had it on my head for a few seconds and couldn't stand the very short hair with no shape at all. It looked like a hedgehog, The color is nice, but this wig is too small, too short hair for my plus size figure: Gwen Wig by Jon Renau STRAWBERRY BLONDE AND WARM PLATINUM BLONDE BLENDED & TIPPED W STRAWBERRY BLONDE NAPE (27T613F). In all fairness, I only had it on my head a few seconds and took it off right away, I didn't try to make it look better, afraid to ruin the chance for return. It might be ok for someone else, but at 62 yrs old and plus size figure, that little wig was not even funny! I filled out the return label for "Gwen" but keeping the other two, with medium length hair: "Blushing Beauty" Wig by Gabor | Mono Part GL16/27 and the "Salsa" Wig by Raquel Welch | Large Cap R14/88H Golden Wheat. Those two are a bit large and I need to learn to adjust the tabs in the back, and I also need to figure out from the videos how to "style" them with my fingers so they look good for me. This is a cute summer wig for someone who doesn't want permatese. It's low density. I got 22F16 there is not enough dimension for me but I do feel someone looking for a well made no permatese, low density piece would be very happy with it. I did have lots of thick hair & I like some poof on top.I was going to give it away but it is growing on me using dry shampoo,piece out & hair spray. Even tho it's symmetrical you can achieve a asymmetrical look with some tucking. I have noticed many reviews/comments on various pieces that I feel expectations are often unrealistic. Let's face it we all don't look like the beautiful ladies,Eileen,Marlen or Taz much less the models. I have found often if I think I don't like something if I change my makeup,color I'm wearing wait a few days,wear it around the house,often one I thought I would send back grows on me. Also often they just need a bit of tweaking with a small trim here & there to make it my own. I imagine very few can just take most of them out of the box with INSTANT SUCCESS ! Even I expected it at 1st & being a Master Stylist (retired) should have known better. I guess what I'm trying to say to all those who are new like me is to be patient.S N.

I think this is a nice little shorties wig. Nap lays nicely and looks very realistic. This would be five stars but there is something very slightly off on the very front of the hairline. I'm able to make it work. I think there may be a manufacturing defect because I've seen YouTube reviews where the bang appears to be quite a bit longer. Overall I think it's nice for the cost.
I just got this. I ordered color 39/38 which is a grey, but still with lots of brown as a base color. Highlighting is done very well, framing the face, bringing lightness without looking too trendy or extreme. The wig is practically weightless, and first thing I noticed was the bulkiness, which I do not like in so many wigs I’ve bought, is not there. A very good thing. It is sleek but not flat , and I believe it will be very versatile. I’m happy that I found this grey color as I think it is a sweet spot for someone who had dark hair but can’t wear dark hair as they age, you won’t look old in this, but simply your best, Particularly if your hair when you we’re young was dark brown and you have brown eyes. I’m pleased.

So I love the fit, the lace front is spectacular, and the style is perfect! This is an unbelievably comfortable wig to wear. So for the bad………the nape tangles, bad! I take care to use detangler JR HD smooth, every time I wear, before and after. I gently brush it out and make sure to put it away detangled and conditioned. I had read it does tangle, and sadly, it's an issue. The other thing I don't love about Raquel Welch is the chunks of color. I have a similar, light color in Jon Renau, and it is much more realistic looking than the Shaded Biscuit in Shop Stopper. Also the shading is so much better with Jon Renau, as realistic as you can get with a wig, imo. If I could just combine the Jon Renau color with this wig and fix the tangling at the nape, it would be perfection!
This is more of a first impression review as I cannot attest to the wearability just yet. What I will say is I don’t understand for the life of me why Raquel Welch puts that awful strip of lighter colour at the hairline, who actually highlights their hair to look like that?? It looks so obvious to me and I just can’t get past it. Ive put darker powder over the hair to try and conceal it but it’s a poor fix. I can’t see how people like that feature. Just keep it rooted as the rest of the wig! The lace front is OK, but I’ve tried virtually every wig on the market and feel Jon Renau still makes the best lace fronts. This wig is very similar to Code Mono by Ellen Wille. I do love that it’s not an overwhelming amount of hair, quite realistic. I have thinned it out around my face just for that added touch. The length is nice and the razored ends are pretty, though I wish the bangs were longer as to keep from pushing off my face but great for someone who wants to wear a full bang.Ashley
As I've gotten older my hair has gotten thin and I just hated the way it looked. I went thru trying so many wigs and couldn't find anything I felt looked like my real hair until I came across this wig. I absolutely love it!!!! I love the way it looks because it's the style I always wore my own hair in and they happen to have it in my exact color. It's also of great quality and lasts. It's also great that you can style in many different ways. If it gets a bit knotted I wash it, spray it while wet with leave in conditioner, wait for it to dry and flat iron it or curl it. (The shampoo and conditioner are specially for wigs) I am constantly getting compliments on my hair and meanwhile I'm wearing a wig. When I first started wearing it close friends and family thought I just got my hair done, when I told them it was a wig they were stunned. They cannot get over the fact that it's not my real hair. I will continue to buy this whenever I need a new one and will try some other colors as well. One more time let me state I LOVE THIS WIG!!Christie R.
