The description states "Headband" while in actuality it's a scarf. It also has two combs (one in front, one in back) to attach the wig to the hair on your head. I have no hair. I would not have purchased this style had I known the correct specifications. I scarf tie is cumbersome. I thought it a stretched band and not a long loose tie. I love the braids but I don't care for the tie thing. I think having different wigs are a fun and easy way to boost your self confidence or save time on a bad hair day. I bought this one from an Amazon seller about 2 years ago and considering it is synthetic and not a lace-front, I was surprised I was able to wear it out of the package, without a hat and people asked me who styled my hair! The topper had nice soft fibers and the color blankest coffee was a perfect shade of dark brown (it was not black at all). However, the top of the wiglet just didn’t sit right on me. No matter how much I pushed down and stretch the clips all around, it still gave me a bit of a point and cone head at the middle. The bangs and sides are also not sitting nicely either (fairly different from how it’s shown in the picture). The bangs lay quite flat on the forehead and seems to stick onto the forehead too like static. It’s also a bit on the shinier side and even after I washed it, it’s still shiny. Now I’m on a hunt for a better topper as it’s quite hot to be wearing a full wig in the summer. I’m sure I’ll find one with Cysterwigs with trial and error.Christina L.
I have only used it once, but I thought it looked great. In indoor lighting it appears more natural than in direct sunlight. I am new to this, so I still feel a little insecure about wearing it. I have never been a person that focused too much on my hair, but my hair is thinning so I purchased this piece to help with that.
I bought this piece because of the price and style. My hair is thin in front and on top. The length of the base goes from side to side, rather than front to back, so it clips into thicker hair and feels very balanced. The downside is that the mono filament area is a small circle, so the piece does not have options for the part. My hair is a warm white in front, becoming darker toward the back. Silvery moon was a perfect match in front, but did not blend well in back. So I painted the back with acrylic paint, alcohol and a spray bottle. It was fun and very easy to do. I dusted it with a little baby powder to cut the shine. Now I just love wearing it!Anne B.

I've just received my 4th Top Billing topper and wanted to review again. The first two I bought in 2020 and was thrilled. Perfect fit right out of the box, color was exceptional, thick, but not too thick and not too shiny. However when I bought a new Top Billing in Feb of 2021, I could tell the difference right away and sadly the same is true of the one I just got. Two different colors, same problem. The material is thinner, shinier and unwearable without a lot of fussing. It's not as long or as full and because its thinner it flips up on the ends and doesn't look natural. It doesn't hang properly. I have thin hair all over so if I want to wear my hair "down" I need enough thickness on the topper to cover my bio hair. No problem wearing the 2020 Top Billings down, but the new ones I have to clip or pin or wear up because they're too thin. Also the new material is noticeably shinier and I've spent a lot of time washing and dry shampooing to try and get it to look more natural. I'm really disappointed as I've tried a lot of toppers and thought I'd finally found "the one"!Laura
I love the lace front & lightweight quality coverage. On the flip side, the lace front is tricky. I use Milano new topper band. The large size fits perfectly with this piece. I found them on Amazon in large & small. I comb dry hair straight back, use Kenya dry shampoo, which is a little tacky & the band does not slide back, maintaining a nice lace front. I may have bangs trimmed, not sure, yet. But I love this piece. Cap works well for a pony tail ! (Yay) Beautiful part, more like silk look.Michele
I ordered the Raquel Welch Top Billing in color RL10/12 Sunlit Chestnut. The topper was pretty but the color was just too dark (maybe too ashy) for me. I previously ordered the RL12/16 Honey Toast — it was a little too light. I am at a loss on how to order the right Raquel Welch color — the professional recommendation was to order the RL10/12 that I just returned. I love the RW heat defiant fiber, density and texture — it looks like REAL hair. My current "go to" toppers are Jon Renau Top Smart in 12/30BT Rootbeer Float and Jon Renau Top Coverage in 12 Light Golden Brown but I just don't love the shiny synthetic (non HD) fiber. (I've tried several techniques to "de-shine" but I'm still not happy.) I think RW Top Billing could be a winner if I can ever find the right color.Donna V.

I had to return the bangs. Very pretty color. Nice density. Not too thick. Unfortunately I find that many clip on bangs & wigs with bangs dont look realistic. The bangs start too far back on the wig or topper. The box came in disarray. It look like the journey to me at some point they fell out of the box and somebody tried to put them back in. It took a while to figure out the right color, but Raquel Welch 14/25 is perfect. I was concerned that a synthetic wig would look fake, but my critics (family) were very happy that it looks exactly like the hair I (used to) have only much thicker. I bought two different wigs, two toppers (one lighter to match my summer hair), and two faux fringes and I think I'm in good shape for awhile. Except that I really like the reddish blonde color…!
I've lost some hair due to alopecia. Wigs are too much for me. These R.W. toppers are perfect; texture, volume & length! I have several, and they are so light-weight & natural looking, I forget I'm wearing them & none knows I have added hair. Wish they would start making them in varied colors like shaded & rooted. That would be cool. A real value. Wigstudio1 specials are great, too.

This is my fourth purchase of this Sonata hair piece. I bought this one because it was a great price but they only had two colors in it so I got the glazed cinnamon which I knew was lighter than my dark brown hair. But it ended up being a lot lighter than the picture. It’s almost a strawberry blond. However once I put it on my real hair blended pretty good with it. It just looks like dark roots. I am going to lighten my real hair a little so it will blend even better. I just love this hair piece. It goes on perfect right out of the box and looks very natural. At first try-on of the topper, it was disappointment and frustation, but because my almost-overnight appearance of a several inches in diameter circle of complete alopecia, and my really not wanting to go back to wearing a complete wig because of never finding any to fit my head without popping off and looking very wiggy, I read tips and reviews on adjusting toppers, put it aside for a day, and then slowly started trimming it, figuring I had no other choice. The color fortunately is close enough to my own hair, so that was a plus. It took me several days of working on it and putting it aside until I got to where it works for me. Between thinning it a little at a time with my husband's beard trimmer and pulling some of my own hair through the cap with a crochet hook, and also wearing a headband, I must say it is more comfortable and harder to tell that it's a wig. Hope this helps anyone who may feel frustrated and hopeless with needing to wear a hairpiece.
