I enjoy changing up my look from time to time but in doing so I have found that many wigs quickly can get unruly. When starting out I had no idea how to maintain my wigs so I had to really learn through suggestions and trial and error. This product was suggested to me and I picked it up to help give life to my wigs and keep them looking a little more kept. While this spray was helpful especially on curly wigs I noticed that it made my straighter wigs look more oily than conditioned. This product is a great answer to prevent frizz and tangling of your extensions and natural hair. I tried oils and 100 other things to stop the snarls in my extensions, this is the only product that has worked. Not only does it keep your extensions soft and conditioned, but it also does the same thing for your natural hair. It also protects your hair against flat irons, blow dryers & curling irons. I noticed less breakage, hair feels moisturized and soft almost like when the extension hair was new. Great Product!ceillia

I received the Tresemme smooth compressed micro hair spray level 2 for free from Tresemme through ChickAdvisor to give my honest review about it. I used Tresemme hairsprays in the past but I always found the bottle to big and awkward to hold also using it makes my hair stiff and hard. That`s why I love the Tresemme smooth compressed micro hair spray level 2 because the bottle is much smaller and better to hold. The mist comes out very fine. When I use it I like that it takes away some of my baby hairs but not all of them but it doesn't make my hair stiff and crunchy. My hair feel soft and looks more polish. Maybe if this formula had a little more hold may be better. I am really impressed with the new bottle and the formula! I would defiantly try out the other ones to see if I would like them. I wold recommend it since it does work. Please consider that I'm certain I recieved a defective bottle when reading my review. I have been using the Tresemme Texture Compressed Micro Mist Hairspray in Hold Level 1 for two weeks now. My first impression was that I LOVED the sleek, shaped bottle. It's so light and easy to hold while styling your hair! The scent is amazing, and the spray is quite fine. However, my bottle tends to sputter as it sprays, with large drips coming out with the fine mist, and a slow leak dripping from the base of the nozzle. I tried running the top under water, moving the spray cap around a bit, and spraying at different angles, with no inprovement. Despite my difficulty, I love the light hold this hairspray offers. I like to style my long hair into loose waves/curls, and this spray helps to hold down any frizz, and keep the curls intact while still allowing them bounce and movement. I would be willing to purchase this product again, especially at it's price point. The bottle design is a great improvement over most other hairspray bottles I have used. This is absolutely my most favorite hairspray ever. I use the level two when I just want a little bit of a hold but still want to see a lot of movement in my hair. It has very little scent and it’s so fine that it doesn’t leave your hair feeling sticky. I love this stuff. I spray my whole head and then brush it before I use my curling iron. It seems to help hold the curls and I don't use any other hairspray after. It's not crunchy or sticky at all. I love that it has thermal protection since I usually curl my hair. You can't even tell there's hairspray in my hair after I'm done curling. I make sure to spray it about 8-10 inches away from my head so I don't blast too much on. It has a nice fine mist so I usually don't use a lot and a bottle lasts me a long time.mattspunkingurl

Starting with the PRO, this spray is awesome after you have styled your hair, particularly with some curls that you want to hold yet you don't want to use stiff hairspray. You could run your fingers through the curls or tousle a little bit as you spray all around your hair. It is an awesome finishing spray! However, the big Con is that it absolutely, positively is an NOT a good thermal styling spray. Some of the positive previous reviews said this product made it shiny and held either a straightener or curling iron pass over. So I sprayed it on my blowdried hair and went ahead and curled my hair with a curling iron. I didn't notice at the time, but at some point later in the day I thought I smelled burning hair. I happen to shower again later that evening and after the shower as my hair fell in my face, without a doubt it was burnt hair smell! I noticed the next morning that a large section of hair just to the right of my temple was gone, maybe an inch'ish away from the scalp! My stomach sank, my face became clammy! That feeling of horror set in. With that said, I honestly have no problem continuing to use the product as a finishing spray, because it is THAT good specifically for that purpose. But please heed my warning – do NOT use as a thermal styling spray!!!LouLou

I was looking for a heat protectant I could use on my fine color-treated hair that would not alter my color or cause product build-up, be sticky or tacky, and would be versatile! I wanted something I could use on damp or dry hair to protect it from heat and this product is great! I use this on damp freshly shampooed and conditioned hair after I put in an anti-snap product and lightweight oil (pre-blow-dry). Before drying I spray a light even mist over my hair and comb through and section off to blow dry. The results are amazing. My style lasts beautifully, feels like silk, and second-day hair requires a slight flat iron touch up (if that for my long bangs). I have no tangling while drying or after, I have no sticky tacky feeling (which is why I hate "hair sprays") except for very few products (one from Kenra (medium hold) and one from a brand not carried by Ulta) when needed. I cannot say enough good things about this product and appreciate the advice I received from one of the Senior Stylists at the Kildeer, IL location who recommended this product. I took advantage of an amazing sale on this product and am well stocked 🙂 If you are looking for a great product that works well on damp or dry hair for heat protection with some styling benefits, I would give this a try!LMT

This is my go to hair spray. I normally will purchase this from TJ Maxx and it works really well. It has a light/medium hold and smells amazing. I also like that I can use it and not have to wash my hair the next day. It doesn’t leave the hair stiff or sticky which is really nice ! L’Oreal Paris Advance Hairstyle Humidity Resistant Lock It Bold Control Hair Spray is my favorite. If you hold it a foot or so away when spraying your hair it is not sticky or stiff while holding your hair in place. It also smells great too.Mary

So extremely happy I stumbled upon this hairspray!!! After my original brand was discontinued I tried around 9 different brands all promising strong hold and/or volume but NONE of them worked..I was soooo frustrated. I tried high end hairsprays and drugstore brands nothing else worked… I am someone who likes to style my hair once and have it last and hold for the whole day regardless of the weather(wind, rain, humidity). I have medium to long fine colored hair that I like to add volume by teasing on the crown and style my bangs to whisp out of my face and stay put, this product provides EVERYTHING I was looking for! My hair looks shiny, smooth, clean and fresh so I dont care how it feels slightly crunchy to allow for the amazing hold! My stylist uses a colour mousse on my hair ,then rolls it up in curlers. THEN she sprays Schwarzkopf setting lotion over the curlers. We have found this is the best way with my fine, but not thick hair. So my hair keeps the set for longer, but is not sticky.rosemaryyewtree

Many wig wearers use this to soften crunchy fibers. I've used on dry or damp (freshly washed) wig. This is the best product to use. Pure sylicone is the best. I learned of this product from a wig wearers support group Best conditioner on the market. I wear with fluffy waves & don't straighten my Wigs Enjoy!colleealliso0

This is a great product! I use one spritz on the ends of the hair after each wearing, applied to my hand first to avoid using too much product. It keeps the hair smooth and soft just like when the wig was brand new. I also like that it does not contain any fillers or unnecessary chemicals. I had packed my Regan by Amore wig in my bag after spending the weekend away from home, and much to my dismay accidentally put it in the wash with the dirty clothes from my bag. Laundry detergent and a spin cycle are not the best way to care for an expensive synthetic wig. It wasn't ruined, but the fibers had definitely lost their lustre and I relegated the wig to only being worn when I wasn't going out of the house – good for while I was cleaning or maybe while in the pool, since I no longer worried about it getting ruined. I bought the silicone spray to help keep my longer wigs detangled and sprayed it on the Regan, just to see what it would do. The wig looks almost as good as new! The fibers are soft and have a healthy sheen (not shiny). I can wear it out again with no worries. This stuff is great!Kerry C.

I have used this particular hair spray for years and years. But now Tresemme decided to change the formula. It doesn't hold my hair, but simply makes it hard and stiff and it's almost impossible to get a comb or brush through it without ripping out a lot of my very fine and thin hair. It is also extremely difficult to shampoo this hair spray out of my hair. I don't shampoo my hair every day because it is so dry, so I end up with a day or two of hair spray built up in my hair, which doesn't totally wash out. The build-up is awful. I'm so very sorry that Tresemme made this formula change. Please, Tresemme, bring back the old formula, otherwise, I do not recommend that anyone buy this product. We bought this product for my cousins wedding. My wife did her hair and it looked amazing. It held up all night. I tried to help my wife brush out the tangles when we got home. From 11:20pm to 1:15am I brushed which made it better than worse, scrubbed tried to remove the product, used shampoo, and even dawn dish soap. Nothing was getting it out and all brushing did was make it worse. The product made her hair crunchy which is why we were trying to get it out. We are now at a salon as they attempt to get this out of her hair without having to cut any off… 0/10 would not recommend this product. Will be reaching out to customer support Monday. Our hair stylist even said this isn't how it should be.Unsoughtthought

I was using a pricey kerastace hairspray for years that was discontinued. Desperate for a replacement, I bought a number of brands. This was the clear winner.. I love this. I have fine hair. I need a strong spray that doesn’t look or become sticky, and one that lasts the entire day, whether it’s windy, hot….. Couldn’t believe this inexpensive drug store brand works just as well for me as a $40 -$50 product. I’m sold. Not interested in more expensive hair sprays any more. This is a great brand and product. Although I like the spray cans better. I got this years ago along with the conditioning spray on amazon. It really revives and makes your wigs look brand new again. This product is the reason my wigs last for years. I have used this product for years. I normally stock up. I just ran out and had to buy more. I stopped at the store and grabbed 3 bottles – the last they had. I shouldn't have. I didn't notice anything different about them at the store. When I used it today, I realized that its totally different. Even the bottles are slightly darker – almost tinted. But the smell is sooo strong. I loved the old scent because it smelled clean and fresh and wasn't overpowering. Today I had to put my bathroom exhaust on just to clear away the new scent. I am picky about my hair products and this spray has been my favorite for years!!!I It started to get harder to find, then suddenly it was back but either the liquid or bottle was a different color. I couldn’t tell exactly. And, the price has doubled! It used to be $4 not it’s $8!!! What the heck???? I held off purchasing it for months thinking the store got a bad shipment but as I have been traveling the US, I see it’s the same everywhere so I finally purchased a bottle. OMG, it's AWFUL. First spray and I could tell something was not the same. Wow has the smell had changed. Also, the formula has changed – it makes my hair frizzy and it doesn't hold at all. Why? Why? Why? STAY AWAY!!!! I (33M) help my wife (29F) keep stocked with the various sundries and consumable products we use on a regular basis. Went to Target yesterday armed with a photo of the empty old bottle and promptly found a very different product from the look and the cap. Working in sustainability myself I recognized the new plastic as *probably* post consumer recycled to drive the Unilever/Dove mission to reduce plastic waste, and the new cap is much more compact and probably uses only 1/4 of the volume of plastic of the old bottle. All fine, pretty interesting and compelling, even to explain the new look of brownish dirty-water looking liquid. What wasn't fine, and wasn't ok at all was none of the changes (including multiple new fragrances, chemicals, and ingredients) as well as the new packaging NOT being advertised on the bottle sticker. Come on product team, you revamp the bottle to be least wasteful, change the formula, ingredients, make the liquid appear dirty and you don't mention it to customers. I seriously considered not purchasing because in an aisle of clean looking products there's one that looked like dirty sewage water and had no explanation. I literally thought it was a defect at first but the full line of bottles were dirty looking. Little did I know I should have snapped a photo, looked it up online, and steered clear… Fast forward 20 mins, I get home and inform my wife of how it looks off and to not be alarmed, I double checked it was the right brand and type. She's skeptical immediately, but neither of us check the ingredient lists (rookie mistake). I pop off to the shower and hear stressed and sad squeaking coming from my wife as she tried to use the product in the same fashion as the old formula, spray some on the top of her head and finger comb (her words not mine, I swear all the stuff people with long hair have to do is like quantum physics – and I studied that lol) down her hair. The new formula does NOT act the same. First off she couldn't comb it through her hair, secondly it didn't work taming her "frizz". I have to take her word on this because I seriously couldn't tell myself, but that kind of image recollection and poofy-measurement isn't my best thing either. She was and is distraught. I must say im always a tad skeptical of products but i must say i am VERY impressed and very pleased with the product, it does exactly as mentioned and supposed too. It is not a glue but does what it says and held for 5 days before it started to slightly lift which is normal cause thats when i remove and wash the unit and my hair anyways so it was perfect , easy and quick go too. My holy grail wig bond! I have literally tried every glue you can think of and this right here, is the best! First, I clean off my hairline with a cotton ball that has alcohol on it. Then the key is spraying the lace and pressing it down with a rat tooth comb! While your pressing it down , use a blow dryer. Do this three times and make sure each time, the soray is dry! Put your elastic band on afterwards and you’re good to go! It lasts me about a week!angela .h

I've heard a lot about ebin's lace spray decided to purchase it from Amazon for around $7 definitely worth every penny. This spray holds up about two weeks for me I love it because there no glue, your edges are still there when the lace comes up, no itching irritated scalp, the lace is melted to the gods honey. I use this everyday. I have very long , and color treated hair, and cannot stand when my hair is too soft OR too stiff, so this stuff is perfect! The cheaper stuff is usually very cakey and makes hair sticky and heavy. I can use this regularly and go a week or more between washes, without hair feeling weighed down.MandiLand

Living here in Philadelphia always had it's fair share of perks, however, every positive brings a negative- One of which is living here during the sweltering hot summers months- especially when it comes to hair care. Three LONG months of unforgivingly brutal heatwaves, temperatures well above 100° and humidity levels that are through the roof leave the air thick, heavy, sticky and oppressive. With humidity comes frizz, and in my case, tons of fly aways. The humidity REALLY reaks havoc on my long curly hair, which is one of the main reasons I tried this finishing spray in the 1st place. After trying just about every hair serum under the sun and not really getting the results I was looking for, i just about gave up until i came across this spray in the haircare aisle of my local drugstore wayyy back in 2012. The rest is history. This finishing spray lasts pretty much all day and doesn't dry my hair out like others have in the past. In fact, it actually gave my hair a beautiful healthy shine, and it smells lovely, which is always a plus. It has a much gentler feel to it, so your hair stays on the softer side- making it easy to manage, instead of being crunchy stiff. The hold level is around light-medium, which may not work so well for some do's, but on a good note- you can brush through it with ease, if need be. It's a finishing spray worth buying trying, if you haven't already. 5 stars ; just for being able to tame my wild, uncontrollable frizz with such ease.jeannine.l
